Summary[]
The X-Verse[1] is a series of stories and fangames that usually revolve around eldritch entities that have a fascination with Sonic the Hedgehog.
Sonic.exe (sometimes stylized as Sonic.EXE, or SONIC.EXE) is a fangame series created by JoeDoughBoi and and developed John-Kun surrounding the contents of an altered CD-ROM copy of Sonic the Hedgehog and it's connection to a string of murders committed by a cult worshipping an enigmatic entity known as "X".
Sonic II Gaiden is a fangame series created by GEAR0SHIFT, being an official branched timeline from the events of SONIC 2011. In this series of events, X (now going by the name "Mortis") was usurped by a mysterious entity in an Eggman vessel known as Bandado. Due to being severely weakened, Mortis has learned to mature and decides to guide Tom against Bandado's rule.
- SONIC 2011
- Sonic II Special
- Sonic II Genesis
Sonic Prototype 2017 is a fangame series created by Raven, being an official branched timeline from the events of Soulless Sonic. In a parallel universe, a prototype Sonic vessel nicknamed "EXE" has run rampant across the world, completely destroying everything in its conquest.
- Sonic Prototype 2017
AWAKENING is a series made by ItsAlepie surrounding the string of murders committed by a delusional cosmic entity that claims to be the real Sonic the Hedgehog.
- TBA
Archive Y2K0274 is a series made by ASTRANOMICONX revolving around a soulless alien from outer space named Xenophanes arriving on the planet Earth in August of 2001.

Power of the Verse[]
The X-Verse has varying tiers of power. Canonically, characters from different stories do not interact with each other[2], but author statements and the setup of the verse establishes that all these characters exist within the same multiverse[3].
- Low-tiers consist of playable characters that reside inside vessels, such as Alan, Dave, Paul and Jake, are Small Building level with Superhuman speeds. Mortis, an alternate version of X after his encounter with Bandado, is currently Unknown, possibly Small Building level due to being a worn-out vessel.
- Mid-tiers include that of the Seven Guardians, the Annexes, and Harbingers. Each of these characters surpass ordinary vessels in power, with some even being able to manipulate VOID Energy.
- High-tiers, such as Sonic.exe, "Sonic" and Xenophanes, are all Town level physically. Xenophanes is canonically stated to be the weakest of the three, being able to crash into Earth with a strong amount of force, but has Massively Hypersonic+ speed. X is High Universe level due to his abilities possessing no limit[4].
Calculations[]
- Alan breaks a wall (0.079 Tons of TNT, 9-A)
- Xenophanes arrives to Earth from the stars (7.713 Kilotons, 7-C)
- Alan runs away from X (13.772 m/s, Superhuman)
- X reacts to Knuckles' punches (0.016 Seconds, Subsonic)
- Xenophanes arrives to Earth from the stars (Mach 3,707.911, Massively Hypersonic+)
- X creates a thunderstorm (9.21 Kilotons, 7-C + 1.7057 Kilometer Range)
Explanations[]
Notes[]
- An official explanation on the continuities of the series can be found here[1][5].
- The Sonic.exe series is owned by JoeDoughBoi[6].
- The Sonic Prototype 2017 branch series is owned by Raven (formerly Revie03)[7].
- The Sonic II Gaiden branch series is owned by GEAR0SHIFT[7].
- The AWAKENING (formerly "Broken_Face") series is currently owned by ItsAlepie[8]. It was formerly owned by Raven[6] before having a change in ownership[9].
- The Archive Y2K0724 series is owned by ASTRANOMICONX[6].
- The Sonic.exe series is owned by JoeDoughBoi[6].
- Do not attempt to use the Creepypasta canon or JC-the-Hyena's lore as a means of scaling characters. While Soulless Sonic was initially concieved as a continuation of the original story[10][11], it was later replaced with a brand new rewritten canon[12][13] that officially separated all works relating to the former continuity[14][15][16][17][18].
- Soulless Sonic is the official de-facto continuation of the Sonic.exe timeline, following SONIC 2011[19]. However, Sonic II Gaiden and Sonic Prototype 2017 are branching timelines that split off of the 2011 events[7].
- According to JoeDoughBoi, the Cult of X wiki is an official canon source of information[20][21][22].
- Contrary to what is stated on Lord X's wiki page[23], JoeDoughBoi has decanonized[24][25] the original Sonic PC Port[Note 1].
- CONTINUED: The Sonic Oddities Wiki is a fan wiki that has no ties to the official creators of the X-Verse[26].

This allows it to capture souls through its computer screens. This leaves the victims still "alive" technically, but more zombified, feral, and will try to cause others to look at the screens to have their souls taken. Alternatively, it can attack other EXEs if it finds them in other universes, and it most likely will, as other EXEs are basically gold mines for getting soul essence from. this is how EXE essentially poisons the multiverse."
