Summary[]
The Vengeful Spirits, also known as Phantoms, are a group of souls who could not rest after their death after being murdered by Berith Edwards. As Berith was not arrested or punished for his crimes, the souls could not find peace after death and after several years they became mad vengeful spirits to avenge their spirit, among them Jeanne Smith. The vengeful spirits managed to enter Isaac Smith's body, claiming that they were a legion of dozens of souls. Their leader/alpha is the most powerful soul with the most vengeance, that is, Jeanne Smith.
Naamah Edwards, who had her soul connected to that of her younger half-sister Jeanne Smith, managed to lure Isaac to an abandoned factory where, through an Enochian ritual, she managed to pass all the souls of Jeanne's victims into Isaac Smith. After possessing Isaac's body they went after Berith using Isaac Smith as a vessel, but ended up being expelled from Isaac's body by Berith himself in an attempt to escape them. However, Berith was eventually killed by Isaac and the souls were finally able to rest.
It is revealed that the souls created by God are like a kind of conscious nuclear reactor, exhaling radiation and being able to cause an explosion equivalent to a nuclear bomb. Isaac received dozens of souls inside his body and his organism began to be melted and poisoned by the gigantic amount of radiation from the souls inside him, which although it did not affect the people around him, he was so affected that in a year he would vary only one goo of flesh and melted blood, forcing Isaac to go after Berith at all costs in order to make the souls rest in peace and leave him.
