Pretty straightforward, but it's still a calc and I might as well explain why it applies once I'm done
Supersonic starts at Mach 1.1, that's 377.3 meters per second. Technically he would only have his armspan to accelerate across before eating the force of the whole thing, but that'd jack this up to Class M, so I'll just take the more reasonable one second and run with it
John Reeves' weight should be around 79 kilograms, so .5*79*377.3^2 and 79*337.3 are...
KE: 5623033.955 Joules, 0.001343937369742 Tons of TNT, Wall level
Force: 26646.7 Newtons, 2716.2793068297656 Kilograms, Class 5
He is expressly superhuman with his super actions and a jet wouldn't really apply for the KE exception for carrying stuff, especially since it's just zooming by and John Reeves is the one that has to deal with however rough this gets. Thereby, the tremendous amount of force and kinetic energy doled out here is all on his arms, which he obviously could handle at the time.
