I'm talking about the one where if you restrict a power, you can't add the match to the profiles.
Here is the rule as written on VBW:
It is fine to restrict abilities in a versus matchup. However, matches that are arranged this way should not be added to the character profiles, as they don't involve their full potential, and are only intended for casual entertainment. An exception would be if the restricted ability/technique has a separate tier from the main one. In this case the match can be added.

Link to the rules on VBW here. The FC/OC ones here.
I feel like one more exception to the rule (just for here) can be made as follows: If the thread does not involve a VBW character, and the creators of both characters are in agreement, then a match can be added if a power was restricted.
The "almighty" hax that is banned from threads by a previously stated rule doesn't count, (Should be obvious, since if it wasn't this way, matches where characters have this on their profiles couldn't even be added).
Just like VBW, threads like this are not completely banned, just to make this clear.
So, the rule (if agreed upon) can be written in as follows: "VS Battles where an ability or power has been restricted may not be added to profiles, as they keep characters from their full potential. It is not, however, completely banned, and is available for casual debating and whatnot. An exception will be made if the ability is within a separate tier, in which the match may then be added. An exception can also be made if the match did not use any characters on the main site and if the creators of all characters involved in the match agree upon adding it."
Note: Any threads created before the creation of this thread (September 1st, 2018. 2:55 am UTC) are not subject to this rule.
