Summary[]
The Prophet, who performs under the name of Pietro Valente De Luca, is a mysterious being that appeared a few times during the Warriors of Eden narrative, often speaking in a mysterious and mystical way, dressed in a detective outfit. His first appearance was during events involving the Smith family's ancestors Samuel Smith and Esther Roberts, later known as Esther Smith, where he appeared to the couple as a sympathetic and charismatic man, during a heavy rain, telling them that he was a messenger from the Lord, and although the couple did not believe what he said, the man then began to talk about how heroic and honorable their job was in having sealed the gates of Hell, something that surprised them that he knew this. After his presentations, the man approached the couple and told them that God had chosen them for a special mission, that from their seed offspring a very special child would be born, knows as "Sanctified Child".
The man then disappeared for years, until he reappeared during the events after the deaths of Berith Edwards and Benjamin Smith, in a moment of reflection of Isaac, Samuel's grandson, who wondered with all his might why God was making him through so much pain and suffering, losing every member of his family and now being alone, being the last member of his family, asking Heavens what sin he had committed to deserve so much burden. That's when The Prophet appeared to Isaac, introducing himself as an old gentleman wanting help finding the location of a street. but then he starts talking to Isaac and his words start to touch the undead man's heart. The Prophet told him that he had not committed any sin to suffer that evil, but he was going through it to fulfill the glory of the Lord in him. The man ends by saying that God does not take the guilty for innocent and does not take the innocent for guilt, and that His only weapon is love.
Several years later, after the events involving Solomon, Lucifer was wandering through the void of creation, when suddenly, a man appeared in front of her, of unfathomable, infinite and eternal power. The entity then introduces himself to Lucifer, saying it wants to talk to her. The Godhead then reveals His true identity, revealing that He was God. Lucifer, although surprised and emotional, decided to talk to his Father. God then speaks to Lucifer about His glory and eternity, explaining that He has indeed always had Lucifer in the palm of His hand. He also mentions that he was glad that the Morning Star was taking good care of Creation. Lucifer asks God to come back, but He mentions the same thing he said through Isabel, that he would only manifest if it was urgent, and that he appeared now because he needed to clarify things with His daughter. God then bids farewell to Lucifer again, and again dissipates His essence into the Void.
