The man in a suit
The suit was now his skin.
~ The narrator of the first video
It's Goji. Only Goji.
~ The Man to the Man in the Anguirus Suit, abandoning his human identity.

Summary[]

The Man in the Suit, also called Goji, is the titular antagonist of Unknowingly's 2023 analog horror webseries, The Man in The Suit.

He was once an actor for Toho Industries who, in the filming for the 1954 film Godzilla, became so obsessed with the Gojira suit that he started believing of himself as the monster. After taking doses of an unknown performance enhancing pill (and/or, presumably, radiation) his human body started to melt within the suit, turning him into one. As time passed, he stopped showing human traits, and showed more animalistic behaviors, like thinking puppets are alive, chasing people down and even killing others.

Powers and Stats[]

Tier: At least 9-C, likely higher

Name: The Man in The Suit, "Goji", "Gojira", Haruo Nakajima (possible real name)

Origin: Unknowingly's The Man in The Suit

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown

Classification: Monster, Mutated Suit/Human Hybrid

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Bodily Weaponry (Sharp teeth and claws, long tail, back spikes), Breath Attack, Acid Manipulation, and Radiation Manipulation (Can vomit a boiling hot liquid that is stated to be acidic and possibly radioactive), Self-Sustenance (Type 1, The Original suit often required a breathing tube in real life due to restricting the actor's air flow, which would often cause the actor to pass out while filming. Despite this, Goji was able to wear the suit for days on end without issue. Is also shown being able to survive and swim underwater without any issues.), Limited Smoke Manipulation (Can spew a super hot stream of blue/white smoke from his mouth), Limited Heat Manipulation (The suit was stated to be hot to the touch, and the inside of it was well over 140 degrees, his mist breath can melt model tanks and set them on fire), Corruption (Type 1; When The Man in the Suit bites down on people in suits, they also fuse with the suits, as it has happened with the man in the Anguirus suit), Reactive Evolution and Accelerated Development (Said to be constantly mutating), Regeneration (Mid; Regenerated his skin and dorsal plates after being removed from the suit. Regenerated his head after it was blown off by a shotgun), Immortality (Type 3; He survived his body exploding in the suit, Regenerated his head back after being killed by the shotgun blast), Limited Shapeshifting (His appearance was shown to drastically change from film to film, even before he was forcibly removed from the suit. One eyewitness claimed that his appearance was constantly changing as he watched him. Grew three new heads after his original one was blown off), likely Large Size (Type 0) with time (It is possible that Goji can grow to to this size given his constant mutating, and he has already been shown to grow in size significantly.), Resistance to Extreme Pain, High Temperatures (The inside of the first Godzilla suit was well over 140 degrees, and Goji was able to wear the suit for days on end without issues), Electricity Manipulation (Tasers were merely shown to enrage him), and Fire Manipulation (Can survive being pelted with multiple pyrotechnic explosions and being briefly set on fire)

Attack Potency: At least Street level (Overpowered and mauled two people to death. Utilizing the original weight of the suit and the weight of the average Japanese man, this creature would weigh 152.86 kg), likely higher (It is implied that Reactive Evolution and Accelerated Development will increase the man in the suit's power overtime)

Speed: Superhuman, possibly Subsonic (Was able to quickly escape onto the streets, and keep up with other suit actors in fights. Was stated to be as fast as a 1960s car. A top speed possibly equal to modern cars[Timestamps 1])

Lifting Strength: At least Athletic Human (Overpowered two fully grown adults quite easily. He would weigh around 152.86 kg), Likely Peak Human (Crushed The Anguirus and Mothra Actor's heads in his jaws)

Striking Strength: Street level

Durability: Street level (Can survive being blasted with small pyrotechnic explosions, set on fire, knocked through replica buildings, tased multiple times, and getting knocked over by a giant fan)

Stamina: Superhuman (Was able to wear the Godzilla suit for days on end without rest, despite the suit making him nearly unable to breathe, it being 140 degrees inside the suit at all times, and it weighing twice as much as him when even highly athletic individuals like the real life Haruo Nakajima would often pass out and require assistance to do basic things like getting into pools, showing that the man in the suit had superhuman stamina even pre-mutation. Post mutation, he is shown to be able to fight and move about for long periods of time. Is extremely resistant to pain, being able to shrug off being effectively flayed alive with a chainsaw, being covered in small explosions, being tased numerous times, and having his head blown off by a shotgun)

Range: Extended Melee Range Physically and with his Tail, Several Meters with breath attacks.

Intelligence: Above Average (While it is believed his mind appeared to have degraded to the point that his behavior was compared to that of animals. Life-sized puppets were able to fool him into thinking they were suits. However, he's still capable of forming readable sentences and, as it is implied, speech; as well as still retaining memories from his human life, such as the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. It's implied that he's plotting a full-on Kaiju attack on America. Was able to run away from trained people for over an hour. He is also smart enough to know the cameraman would try to stop him so he sent him a letter telling the cameraman that he is fired in a attempt to prevent the camera man from interfering with his plans. The Man in The Suit also sabotaged a power box on multiple occasions, and can understand and likely speak both English and Japanese. It could also be possible that he is pretending to act like a animal so others would underestimate him)

Weaknesses: None notable

Others[]

Notable Victories:

Derpy (The Trollge Files) Derpy's Profiles (Speed was equal. Both were 9-C and bloodlusted)

Notable Losses:

Judge Jerry (Terrifically Terrifying) Jerry's Profile (Speed was equal. Jerry had prior knowledge on The Man. Jerry had a knife in his right hand and a syringe of Propofol in his left, with a crowbar and hammer on his sides. Fight took place in a dark movie studio and The Man was bloodlusted)

Inconclusive Matches:
