~ Richard, the Godmodder, boasting as he triumphs over Alpha |
Richard, primarily known by his title, the Godmodder, is an overwhelmingly powerful Godmodder who ascended to the peak of the Godmodding Scale during the Godmodding Wars, which culminated in his victory over UserZero. Born into affluence and expecting the world to give him everything he desired, Richard was relentlessly bullied throughout his childhood, but his amazing skills in essentially everything, particularly as a programmer, lead him to uncover the prestige and power he desired. It helped that he had a shadow in his dreams that drove him further and further...
Exposed to Minecraft early in its development, Richard was one of the first to realize that it was no game, but actually a totally separate universe. Witnessing the original conflict against the first Godmodder, the Psi-Godmodder, Richard swore to achieve the same scale of power, and as he explored his abilities as a Godmodder, he grew close to Mojang and was able to influence the growth of their "game". After he invaded Mojang's server and summoned his own Terror mobs, he was shunned by the team, but his taste of power and the joy he felt in tormenting others took control of him.
After defeating UserZero and taking her place as the world's only Omega+ Godmodder and as the CEO of Godmodding Incorporated, Richard set about making everyone he possibly could ragequit and killed nearly every other Godmodder. This was all to ensure that he would stand unrivaled, at the top of the world.
Following his defeat on GenericCraft thanks to the intervention of the Narrative, Richard ragequit and began pursuing vengeance. After creating his own server, GodCraft, he put his life's work, a virus called the Operation, into effect, forcing everyone who owned Minecraft onto his server, where he could torment them to his heart's content, driving them to ragequit again, and again, and again...
Over the course of this legendary battle, on which the fates of countless worlds hinged, Richard underwent his own Split, with his mindscape dividing between two beings - the first, his original personality, Omega, and the second, Alpha.

Attack Potency: At least Multiverse level, likely Multiverse level+ (Casually destroyed a goo that could destroy goolgoplexes worth of universes by essentially just twitching a finger.[38] Far superior to any individual anti-godmodder, many of whom triggered big bangs in other universes and destroyed them through various means. He's also undoubtedly superior to the players and the majority of the Legion of Godmodders in DTG2, who were all able to contribute to the battle against the Incarnate, even though a lot of this was due to his own arrogance and the mech's weakpoints) | Multiverse level+ (The strongest entity in DTG1, superior to even the Godmodder himself, and capable of matching the Secret of the Void, who created the Void, the space that connects all the universes in the infinite multiverse).
Speed: FTL (Far superior to any individual anti-godmodder, several of which moved at the speed of light, and moved at this speed himself.[10] He can fend off attacks from many anti-godmodders and their entities at once, and when summoned during Zero Hour, he fought off multiple anti-godmodders who could fight with his future self[20]), likely Massively FTL+ (Should be somewhat comparable to the Employer, who traveled through the Void fast enough to clear universes in seconds.[57] Lesser godmodders and their summons[18] can move even faster,[58] only to have the Godmodder effortlessly dodge their attacks) with possibly Infinite reactions (The Godmodder is said to have infinite reaction time,[49] but this isn't particularly consistent) | FTL, likely Massively FTL+ with possibly Infinite reactions | FTL, likely Massively FTL+ with possibly Infinite reactions
Lifting Strength: At least Stellar (Far superior to any individual anti-godmodder, many of whom threw the Sun,[45][59] pulsars,[9] and neutron stars[60][61] at him and his summons. He also casually blocked having the Sun thrown at him the first time, without even having to specify how[62]).
Striking Strength: At least Multiverse level, likely Multiverse level+ | Multiverse level+
Durability: Unknown (He can be damaged by all sorts of attacks under certain conditions, especially when others use godmodding themselves, but few attacks are effective even then, and those that are won't be effective a second time), up to at least Multiverse level, likely Multiverse level+ with Godmodding (Having all of reality erased only dealt one damage to him,[63] his armors are enchanted to have infinite resilience, the Glitch, which was slowly destroying the reality of GenericCraft, was only slowly affecting him,[2] and not even the admins can deal severe damage to him.[34] He also survived the destruction of the Anti-Chuck Norris Tank) | Multiverse level+ (Everything short of the Secret of the Void failed to damage it in any meaningful way, doing only aesthetic harm)
Stamina: Superhuman. The Godmodder waged an extremely lengthy and draining war against the anti-godmodders, persisting in his fight no matter how harsh things got and how much damage he took. However, he has very limited health compared to others, with his saving grace being his sheer durability and Godmodding prowess.
Range: At least Low Multiversal (Can teleport from alternate dimensions and banish others to far off corners of the universe, or other universes[22][23][24]), likely Multiversal (He can banish others to entirely new canons, which are beyond Minecraft's Fourth Wall and all its servers), possibly Multiversal+
Standard Equipment: Anything from his vast arsenal of weaponry, machinery, and armor, and he can summon a variety of equipment from other verses whenever needed.
- Anti-Chuck Norris Turret: One of the Godmodder's most powerful entities, the Anti-Chuck Norris Turret is a turret of such power that a single one can stalemate Chuck Norris for an eternity, proving invulnerable to even his most powerful attacks. He can summon an infinite amount of them,[64] and when pushed to the edge, transform one into the Anti-Chuck Norris Tank and take refuge within it. Alternatively, he can teleport the tank's Superlaser into his inventory and use it himself.
- Rollback Armor: A special suit of armor that rolls back all attacks that hit it.[20]
Intelligence: Supergenius. As a child, young Richard showed aptitude in essentially everything he did, but grew up to be a particularly incredible gamer and programmer, two skills that allowed him to quickly realize that Minecraft was not merely a game, but an entire universe of its own. In the modern day, he is perhaps the single greatest hacker and programmer on the planet, capable of hacking through defenses that others would need trillions of years to break and programming a virus that is five hundred times more powerful than every computer on the planet combined and could not be affected in any meaningful way[65] by any of the world's other programmers in 9 seconds.[66] The Godmodder also created the mechs, highly advanced robotic beings created in the images of various Minecraft mobs, each of which is equipped with a deadly arsenal and is virtually impervious to hacking or any other sort of technological interference. He's also integrated the entirety of Minecraft's source code into his own brain, letting him play just by thinking.[67] In combat, he is highly dangerous, preparing for his fights far ahead of time, bribing and otherwise taking control of all his opponents' allies, among many other random people, to use them in his fights. Though he may be arrogant and thrive on tormenting others, he uses his powers creatively, in a variety of dangerous ways, to overcome his opponents and drive them to ragequit.
Weaknesses: The Godmodder is a sadist who seeks to torment his opponents and drive them to ragequit, rather than simply kill them outright, having disabled his own /kill command to prevent himself from doing so. On account of this and his extraordinary arrogance, he consistently fails to use his extreme power to its fullest potential. He is terrified of tubas, and though he has grown to be resistant to them they still scare him. He can only heal when he is at the end of his rope, and the process takes a long time, leaving him helpless while he does so, though he'll just find some way to protect himself during the process, such as the Anti-Chuck Norris Tank. A sufficiently nasty death in Minecraft will cause harm to his real self as well, potentially even killing him, but given that he is implied to have survived Minecraft's reset, which deleted all of his accounts, it's likely not that easy.[68]

Attack Potency: At least Multiverse level (Stronger than before. Created GodCraft, a Minecraft server with multiple dimensions and different servers and worlds, such as the End and the Nether), likely Multiverse level+ (He should be comparable to the likes of Bill, who Scratched the Hexahedron, which maintains the Source Code of Reality,[130] creating a Glitch that could potentially wipe out all of Fiction, and Project Binary, who fused with said Glitch. The fight against him is one that threatens all of Fiction, dragging the fate of countless universes into the battle.[131] He's also undoubtedly superior to the players and the majority of the Legion of Godmodders, who were all able to contribute to the battle against the Incarnate, even though a lot of this was due to his own arrogance and the mech's weakpoints) | At least Multiverse level, likely Multiverse level+ (Stronger than he was before and superior to all other Omega+ level Godmodders) | Multiverse level+ (The strongest entity in DTG1, superior to even the Godmodder himself, and capable of matching the Secret of the Void, who created the Void, the space that connects all the universes in the infinite multiverse) | Multiverse level+ (Superior in power to Psi-Scratch, the Disc of Mojang,[132] and the Fez. With a snap of his fingers, he triggered the end of all of the Minecraft multiverse[127]).

Stamina: Superhuman. The Godmodder waged an extremely lengthy and draining two-year long war against the anti-godmodders, persisting in his fight no matter how harsh things got and how much damage he took. However, he has very limited health compared to others, with his saving grace being his sheer durability and Godmodding prowess.
Range: Multiversal (Transported a rock a billion dimensions away[111] and could incinerate all Paralyze Heals in the "omniverse"[139]), possibly Multiversal+.
Standard Equipment: Anything from his vast arsenal of weaponry, machinery, and armor, and he can summon a variety of equipment from other verses whenever needed. He also seems to have access to the alchemies of all the players.
- The Banhammer:[140] The Godmodder's primary weapon, originally an iron axe he used to channel his banning abilities. Being struck by the Banhammer instantly bans a victim, not only from GodCraft, but from all servers, on top of deleting their accounts,[78] though the Operation simply drags a victim back onto GodCraft. He can even ban other Godmodders and all their alts.[79] He eventually ditched this for a more proper weapon, alchemizing Fear No Anvil, a Command Block, Moh's Malevolence, and the Problem Sleuth Fedora to make the true Banhammer. This more proper Banhammer can be used to modify and manipulate the world through its Command Block components, such as to stop time and completely erase code from existence.[109][141] It can also act independently of the Godmodder.[98]
- The Blacklister: An alchemized variant of the Banhammer, which can grow blades from its head to dice opponents apart.
- Godarm: The Godmodder's robotic left arm, which has many abilities and can transform into virtually any weapon.
- The Red Tooth: A sword created by alchemizing the Banhammer and the Titanslayer. While not his primary weapon, it is still remarkably dangerous and critically strikes every single time it's used, without fail.
- Rollback Armor: A special suit of armor that rolls back all attacks that hit it.[20]
- Anti-Chuck Norris Turret: One of the Godmodder's most powerful entities, the Anti-Chuck Norris Turret is a turret of such power that a single one can stalemate Chuck Norris for an eternity, proving invulnerable to even his most powerful attacks. He can summon an infinite amount of them,[64] and when pushed to the edge, transform one into the Anti-Chuck Norris Tank and take refuge within it. Alternatively, he can teleport the tank's Superlaser into his inventory and use it himself.[127]
- Wayback Machine: A complex machine, disguised as a dirt block, utilized to warp time and reach into the past to resummon old entities under his control, such as the entities summoned by the anti-godmodders in DTG1.[81] This leaves a vast army at the Godmodder's disposal, including the likes of Arceus, the Death Star IV, SCP-682, the Relic, AXIS, Hexmobile, and countless others. The most fearsome of his summons, however, are the 175 Hellkite Dragons.[142]

A sufficiently nasty death in Minecraft will cause harm to his real self as well, potentially even killing him, but given that he is implied to have survived Minecraft's reset, which deleted all of his accounts, it's likely not that easy.[68] | As the Hero of Brine, Richard is incredibly unstable, and the Incarnate's great size means that its many bodyparts have weakpoints, leaving them more vulnerable to attack. Godmodder Soul is even more unstable and mentally vulnerable, leaving the different parts of his mind in constant conflict, which can be exploited.
Key: Base | Totality | Anti-Chuck Norris Turret / Tank | Hero of Brine / The Incarnate / Godmodder SoulAbilities[]
Godmodding: The power to manipulate reality to render one's self an invulnerable being capable of nullifying any attack and retaliating with brutal force. It was developed in the universe of Minecraft by the first Godmodder, sometimes said to be Richard's "Ancestor" and known only as the Psi-Godmodder. Over the course of the Godmodding War on the Zeroth Server, Richard ascended the ranks of the Godmodding Scale, rising from the lowly Gamma rank to the peak of the scale at Omega+ level, rendering himself essentially unkillable and all-powerful and becoming known as simply the Godmodder.
As a Godmodder, he has control over reality and can bend it to his will,[3] easily controlling space and time in his favor.[13] He can master new abilities on the fly whenever needed,[4][5] perfectly anticipate and counter any incoming attack,[13][29][30] and retaliate with ridiculously overpowered attacks of his own devising. While he may have a low HP total compared to other entities, the Godmodder's defensive capabilities are absurd, allowing him to counter or simply tank the vast majority of attacks.[143] Even those that slip through his defenses won't deal much damage, making any battle against him a long and agonizing grind. When he reaches the end of his rope, his defensive abilities will reach their peak, making harming him nearly impossible even when compared to before.
Because of his absolutely broken powers, the only beings who can really put up a fight against him are other Godmodders, but none of them are at his own level of power, a scale of power that can only be reached by killing him and taking his place as an Omega+ level Godmodder; something that the Godmodder himself did to UserZero to usurp her position.
- Altgeddon: Rather than simply one account, the Godmodder has literally infinite alternate accounts. Whenever one is banned or deleted, the Godmodder can simply appear on another without any issue at all. Related to this is Computergeddon, which grants the Godmodder literally infinite computers[32] with which to play Minecraft, leaving him with infinite processing power at his disposal[33][122] and preventing the destruction or disabling of any single computer from being an issue at all.[6] He can also play just by thinking, as he's integrated Minecraft's source code into his own brain.[67]
- Brainwashing: The Godmodder can instantly take control of any entity summoned to fight him, typically doing so when he is low on cannon fodder or when an opponent summons an entity without properly charging. At its strongest, this allowed the Godmodder to take control of an army that included 10^50 ATATs, a googol stormtroopers, and infinite droids, instantly and casually.[11]
- Console Mastery: The Godmodder can access and utilize admin-level console commands on any server and universe he enters regardless of his actual standing, allowing him to ban and kill users without issue.[6] Combined with his already impressive powers of reality warping, this allows the Godmodder to do essentially anything he desires, such as flying perpetually and summoning any item he needs. He has also added a number of plugins and mods to his own server, GodCraft, and can remove and add more as he pleases, using them to his advantage. Many of these plugins, which number in the millions, act to prevent hacking and viruses.[144][145]
- /ban: Instantly bans a victim, not only from GodCraft, but from all servers, on top of deleting their accounts,[78] though the Operation simply drags a victim back onto GodCraft. This even works on other Godmodders.[79]
- /kill: Instantly kills a target, whether they be a player, a mob, or another entity.[146] The Godmodder can also activate a kill aura that instantly kills everything in his vicinity.[37]
- /tptoggle: Allows the Godmodder to allow or disallow teleportation across the entire server, save for himself.
- HomestuckCraft: A plugin that includes parts of the webcomic Homestuck into the GodCraft server, most notably allowing the Godmodder to alchemize his items to create newer and stronger ones.
- WorldEdit: The Godmodder can use WorldEdit to terraform a server on a massive scale, creating, deleting, or replacing not just thousands of blocks, but every block on the server at once with ease. He can also use this to erase entities.[110]
- Curses: The Godmodder has control over the abstract concepts[6] known as curses, which he can create and apply to any battlefield as he pleases. While his curses impede all his opponents, the Godmodder is unaffected.[119]
- The Curse of Anti-Charging (§): This curse prevents beings of all factions from charging up and using new attacks, cancelling any charged abilities that were already being used.
- The Curse of Anti-Entities (ö): A curse that prevents the Godmodder's opponents from summoning any new entities, killing those they already have on the field in the process.[88] Typically used for the final stages of a battle, as the situation intensifies.
- The Curse of Anti-Respawns: A curse used by the Godmodder in the battle against the Incarnate, which prevents the players battling him from simply respawning after death. Instead, upon death, they return as a zombie under his control, only returning to normal after they do a certain amount of damage to his opponents.[127][125]
- The Curse of the OP Scale (º): A curse that allows the Godmodder to control the OP Scale in his favor. The OP Scale is an abstract object that measures the power of all attacks and all beings, and rolls back any that exceeds certain parameters, causing them to fail, be drastically weakened, or, in the case of certain unfortunate beings, be instantly killed.[78] The Godmodder's power is as high on the scale as it can be without rolling over.
- The Curse of Repetitiveness (™): This curse prevents any attack that harms the Godmodder from harming him a second time, and also disables any attack deemed "unoriginal", such as attempts to ban or nuke him. It also makes it so that any summoned entity will become weaker and weaker the more it is summoned, eventually to the point that the curse simply kills them instantly.[26][27]
- The Curse of Trials (Ξ): A curse used only when the Godmodder is at the end of his rope and near defeat. Using his power, he sets up a series of trials and becomes essentially invulnerable. He can only be harmed, and eventually defeated, by the completion of each trial, one by one. Each trial is its own complex and daunting quest, and they grow in difficulty over time.[147]
- The Curse of Vulnerability (ø): A curse that forces health bars onto invulnerable beings, such as DTG's players, making it so that they can be truly harmed and killed by the Godmodder and his forces. This is typically used for the final stages of a battle.[147]
- Summoning: The Godmodder can summon droves of entities to protect and fight alongside him. First, during the events of DTG1, he summoned Terror mobs, extra powerful versions of regular Minecraft mobs that would take hits for him. In DTG2, he instead summons Mechs, large, robotic versions of regular mobs piloted by Terrors. These Mechs have a variety of special abilities and are much more powerful than their regular counterpart, and the Godmodder has shielded them from all sorts of technological interference. He has other summons as well, but he makes most use of his Terrors and Mechs.
- The Incarnate: The Godmodder's greatest summon and the strongest of all his Mechs, summoned in Trial VI once he's been granted the power of the Red Dragon. While the other Mechs are made in the image of various mobs, this Mech is made in his image, and has all of his Godmodding powers. It is large enough to have its own substantial gravitational pull, and though each of its different body parts have weakpoints, it is still extremely resilient. It is equipped with three Entity Orbs, which allow it to draw upon the power of any entity summoned in DTG2. Even if the Incarnate itself is rendered inoperable, the Godmodder can pilot his cockpit on its own, heavily armored and protected by Omega and Alpha Barriers.
- The Veil: An ability that shrouds all of the details of the Godmodder's personal life, preventing them from being used against him. As a result, no player can ever discover what he really looks like or where he lives,[6] and it even affects those that go to his house in real life.
Battle Techniques: After achieving totality with Alpha in Act 4, the Godmodder gained access to a number of new Battle Techniques similar to those of the players.
- Blacklist: Equipping his Blacklister, the Godmodder charges his opponent(s), slashing and smashing through them with the weapon, which grows many spinning blades.
- Lv. 2 Blacklist - Whitelist: The Godmodder equips the Blacklister and activates, its blades whirring until the hammer is glowing a brilliant white. He then raises it into the sky, changing the coding of the server so that only certain things are allowed and others are simply removed, producing a powerful pulse of white energy in the process.
- Lv. 5 Blacklist - Drawing the Line: The Godmodder takes out the Blacklister, its blades spinning around, and uses it to cut a line through the floor. Then, he manipulates coding to manifest a giant red firewall from this line, before pushing this upon his target. Because it's a firewall, it's extra effective against viruses and corrupted files, erasing them.
- Perpetual Trap: The Godmodder rapidly advances upon his target, kicking them into a field of pressure plates, triggering a series of redstone loops which power an array of Command Blocks. This traps his opponent within a massive cluster of Iron Doors, locking them within a cube, which is then doused in lava before being cooled down into a massive chunk of obsidian. The Godmodder then shatters it with a single swing of the Banhammer.
- Lv. 2 Perpetual Trap - Ad Infinitum: The Godmodder flashsteps to his target, kicking them into the sky and letting them fall into a field of pressure plates. This causes an array of Command Blocks to create a massive cube of Bedrock around his victims, trapping them within while hidden Dispensers bombard them with TNT, along with every other explosive in Minecraft. This takes place over the course of a million years, as the Godmodder teleports the cube into another dimension where time flows differently before retrieving it.
- Lv. 5 Perpetual Trap - IT KEEPS HAPPENING: The Godmodder telekinetically strangles his targets before throwing them into a field of pressure plates. This activates an array of Command Blocks that transforms all the blocks nearby into slime blocks, causing those who were thrown to bounce high up into the air, into more slime blocks above them. They are bounced back down and then back up and so on over and over again, with increasing force and velocity, until the slime blocks are replaced by spikes that impale them.
- Lv. 10 Perpetual Trap - Stages of Grief: The Godmodder clashes with his opponent, maneuvering in a way that forces them to step on multiple pressure plates that triggers a trap, containing them within an unbreakable prison. He then sets up a bomb, set to blow up in a year, around the trap, and throws it into the Void. Eventually, the bomb explodes, triggering a massive antimatter explosion.
Combat Operandi: A more powerful form of regular Battle Techniques, another skill that the Godmodder gained access to after achieving totality with Alpha. Due to their power, they require Sacred Items to be used.
- Morning Glory: After transforming his Godarm into a spike, the Godmodder leaps into the air and creates a massive thunderstorm. He then transforms his Godarm into a cannon and fires a barrage of fireworks into the sky, sets off Command Blocks that trigger the creation of countless lighting blocks, and detonates a whole lot of TNT in the sky. The resulting mass of light, enough to blot out all of the Far lands, is condensed into a sphere of pure energy and thrown at a target by the Godmodder, causing an immense explosion.
- Ophicleide Homicide: The Godmodder uses a tuba to suck up all his targets, then teleports them to every single location in the universe at once, stunning them, but somehow dealing no damage. The tuba sucks up all the light in the universe as the Godmodder then slams the Doctor's Doom, a superpowered broom, into his victims' faces, before he finally draws upon all the light within the tuba. This light is converted into a vast variety of different forms of energy, and is used to trigger an explosion that dwarfs the universe and has the power of a Big Bang.[83]
- Pandora's Box: The Godmodder materializes a frying pan and lifts it up. Crackling with electricity, it draws all opponents closer and closer, and those who fail the fight with gravity are dragged into contact with it. This causes the pan, with its victims, to flicker out of existence, while an ornate box falls at the Godmodder's feet. Inside, there is a Golden Frying Pan, which, if they touch it, will summon unfathomable spiritual evils. Whether they touch it of their own free will or are forced to do so by the Godmodder, they will erupt from the box with these evils and be swarmed and consumed by them, ultimately leaving nothing but dust.
