The Adventure of Ages is a fantasy tale that takes place within the Cloudverse.
Summary[]
The tale follows the adventure of a party consisting of several members of a party. Their are heavy fantasy elements in the story, including magic, weapons, and creatures. The Members of the party range from a training necromancer, to well known warriors of the land. They work together as a mercenary group working to solve problems, for the right coin.
Power of the Verse[]
The verse's strength ranges wildly. Low tiers consist of ranges between Building and Large Building Level. Mid Tiers range from City Block to City level. High to God Tiers consist of Mountain to Multicontinental levels. The Higher tier is made up of several extremely powerful wizards, known as the Mortal Gods.
Since Mercenaries are endorsed by the kingdoms governments, all registered mercenaries have a rank. Mercenaries may only face threats equivalent or lower than their rank, unless stated otherwise by the government. Failure to adhere to these protocols results in imprisoning of the mercenary. The ranks are as follows;

- Ruby Rank
- Emerald Rank
- Sapphire Rank
- Platinum Rank
- Diamond Rank
As common is fantasy verses, there are a wide array of humanoid races. Of course there are humans but there are also elves, dwarves, angels, demons, and a race called Anborns. Anborns are humans who have the "Blood of the Ancients", making them effectively half human, half animals. Anborns can vary from hundreds of different animals, though some are more common than others. They are naturally long living, and usually make able combatants.
