Classification: Kryptonian, Superhero, Member of the Justice League

Powers and Abilities:

Attack Potency: Small Planet level (Overpowered and easily keep up with Goku's forms. King Kai stated that Goku can't beat Superman, explaining that despite the latter being able to overcome any limits put in front of him, Superman has absolutely no limits to his power and will eventually surpass him even when Goku trains harder than ever[2]. Should be vastly superior to Super Saiyan Vegeta, who Goku considered and implied to be stronger than him[1], with Vegeta being capable of punching the moon downwards onto Earth[4][Note 1]. Clark warmed SSB Goku to not "accidentally destroyed earth a second time"[2]), Planet level+ when sun-dipped (After absorbing the Sun's energy and clashing with Super Saiyan 4 Goku, their clash instantly obliterated earth, shattering it into pieces[1][Note 2]) | Moon level (Capable of fighting against and harming most of Son Goku's forms. Destroyed Son Goku's Ki Blast and is able of crushing one with ease, which a single Ki Blast is capable of obliterating the moon[3]. Superman stated that he is "doing just fine" even after getting attacked by Super Saiyan Goku[3]), Universal level+, possibly Low Multiverse level at his peak (Stomped SSB Goku. Fought on par with Ultra Instinct Goku, who is capable of harming him. Superman's hits against Son Goku implied caused multiple cracks in reality where alternate versions of themselves were seen battling each other after unleashing his true power[3]. It was stated in the lyrics "there is no space or time"[3]), far higher when sun-dipped (Ultra Instinct Goku and Sun-Dipped Superman's clash causes the universe to be destroyed and spanning multiple new realties after the battle[3][Note 3])

Speed: Massively Hypersonic (Flew from a city to a empty field in seconds[1][Note 4]. Effortlessly tagged Super Saiyan 1 Goku[1]), Massively FTL when sun-dipped (Flew back to Earth from the Sun in seconds) | Relativistic (Alongside SSB Son Goku, was able to travel from Earth to the edge of outer space in seconds[3][Note 5]), Massively FTL+ at his peak (Blitzed SSB Goku. Capable of keeping up with Ultra Instinct Goku, who can react and dodge his attacks with ease[3]. Travelled around the galaxy by going through every suns scattered around[3]), far higher when sun-dipped

Lifting Strength: Class K (Capable of stopping and steering an entire plane onto the ground to safety[1]. Lifted up a car and smashed it onto Super Saiyan Goku[1]. Threw Goku's Powerpole into the atmosphere) | Superhuman (Compared to Son Goku, who can throw Clark by the cape onto the ground from the sky[3]. Threw SSB Goku into the side of a small mountain[3])

Striking Strength: Small Planet level (Punched Goku through several buildings with a single strike), Planet level+ when sun-dipped | Moon level, Universal level+, possibly Low Multiverse level at his peak, far higher when sun-dipped

Durability: Small Planet level (Withstood and recovered hits from all of Son Goku's forms. Unscathed after getting blasted into Lex Luthor's Corp building by Super Saiyan Goku's Kamehameha[1]), likely far higher (Goku, in his Super Saiyan God, was actually able to harmed him that Superman "actually felt"[2], implying that Superman in his first battle against Goku didn't actually felt any serious hits from him), Planet level+ when sun-dipped (Flew through Super Saiyan Goku's Kamehameha without harm and survived being in the epicenter of Earth's destruction, though he was knocked out of his sun-dipped state and left unconscious before being restored by the Sun[1]) | Moon level (Capable of tanking and recovering hits from SS and SSB Son Goku. Withstood getting blasted into the ocean by Super Saiyan Blue Goku's Kamehameha), Universal level, possibly Low Multiverse level at his peak (Survived the destruction of the universe that spanned multiple new realties caused by him and Goku's clash[3]), far higher when sun-dipped

Stamina: Athletic (Fought against Son Goku and all of his forms for a while, though he was constantly being recharged by the Sun and claimed he "didn't have much left in him" after about a minute of fighting Goku while clouds were blocking the Sun. Searched and gathered all of the Dragon Balls throughout space for an unknown amount of time[2]) | Superhuman (Fought Goku for an unknown but long amount of time, even implied before the fight started[3])

Range: Standard Melee Range physically; Ten of Meters with Heat Vision | Standard Melee Range physically; Hundreds of Meters to Planetary with Heat Vision

Standard Equipment: None Notable

Intelligence: Gifted (Clark is a incredibly gifted fighter, capable of attacking other's weak points and proficient in using his powers to his advantage. Capable of outskilling Son Goku on several occasions) | Above Average (Shown to be proficient in using his abilities)

Standard Tactics:

Clark will attempted to put his opponents down during battle, aiming to end the fight as possible by attacking the weak points of his opponents to make them unable to move or by only using brute force and not his own abilities against his opponents. But once the said opponent gets into a stronger state, Superman will be forced to use his abilities against them and going into places that has more sun-light in order to win the fight.

Superman holds back his full-strength during battle in which Son Goku pointed out[3].

Weaknesses: Vulnerable to Magic and Kryptonite. Will get weaker overtime if there isn't any sun-light | Holds back his full strength in battle (Even when Goku asked Superman to give it his all and let out his full power, Superman stated that he is "doing just fine"[3]), otherwise None Notable

Note:

  • This profile will mainly only focus on the fight itself and not the analyzes entirely.
  • It should also be noted that while Goku VS Superman 2 is a direct continuation of the last one, the 2023 fight is not as it's been shown that both are alternate universes.
