Born so blessed, in my youth, I believed strength was the might of the blade, the power of a hurricane, the crushing force of Will bent to my command. I sought to conquer the world through violence, to break those who stood against me, for that was the path of the 'true strong man'. But as the years weighed upon me, and as I unraveled the threads of sorcery and life itself, a deeper truth emerged, one far more elusive than any spell or incantation.


The 'strong man', I came to see, is not found in brutality or conquest. It lies in the gentleness of restraint, the wisdom to guide without domination, the patience to listen rather than to command. The world does not bend to force alone. It turns with the subtlety of unseen hands, in the delicate balance of forces beyond our control. And in understanding the working of nature, of humanity, of Will itself, we become not rulers of the world, but part of its harmony.

The title of 'Strongest' belongs not to those who wield power as a weapon, but to those who wield it as a tool of creation, of knowledge, of understanding. In the end, the greatest force under heaven is not the crushing hand, but the open one. Only in such gentleness can one truly be strong. That path was the one that guided me to be the one with the most liberty in the world.

Spicta is a historical figure in Phanerian history and the original developer of the didactics of Visualization.

But Who is Spicta?

Perhaps the record holder for the multiplication of the technique of Visualization of the adepts of Will, perhaps a famous male prophet of the first century after the rise of the Empire, perhaps a peasant woman who fell for the wrong man... Spicta did not know who Spicta truly was, which makes all these titles both fitting and unfitting.

Born in the outskirts of the Phaneric Empire at the year 28 of the First Era, the records of the past only make mention of an individual whose teachings became the cornerstone for the many early schools of the practice of improving one's Will and giving shape to its power.

With no real identity tied to the name, we can assume that it was, at first, a nickname or alias. Spicta simply means "traveler". Being a traveling healer, priest, philosopher, sorcerer or trader of any sort wasn't rare back then, as the vast expanse of lands meant that knowledge often came from outside your own hometown. Thus, the one called Spicta came across hundreds of cultures, peoples, religions and dialects.

"Spicta" was a synonym for change; an identity hijacker who impersonated already existing characters in order to advance his own agenda. Being the deceased daughter of a religious leader for a week, the exiled poet of another settlement for a year, and so on, and so forth. All paths leading to the same goal: attaining an understanding of the world by immersing oneself in multiple cultures, languages, belief systems and ways of life; the act of understanding oneself by going through dozens of lives until you find the true essence of your very nature, thus, by extension, achieving a complete visualization of the self and thus gaining enlightenment and power.

It is a mystery what came to happen to this mysterious wanderer, whether they succumbed to old age or died by some other means, but they left a legacy that stands today, over nine hundred years later. The teachings of Spicta and his improvement of Visualization became the fundamentals of the technique and the manuscripts with his methodologies were scattered throughout the age and found themselves into the hands of many powerful figures of history, including the founders of the original branches of the pre-3-hour-mayhem's Will Academy that evolved into the disciplines that exist today.

His knowledge of Will was almost unreachable compared to other mortals, and his affinity with the energy was further amplified by his philosophy of “knowing the world through other people's lives”)

He could copy combat skills in a short period of time, quickly adjust to unfavorable circumstances, and adapt perfectly to totally new personalities and lifestyles on the spot)
    • Improved Instinctive Action (Capable of reacting to some attacks without even needing to acknowledge them in the first place. Could instinctively dodge fatal attacks after being blinded and having his other senses halved. Spicta himself noted how his mastery over Will had seemingly turned him nearly untouchable under normal circumstances, and the Eclipsar could only bypass this through several status effects, Will drainage, and numerical advantage)

It is historically accurate that of the ten Eclipsar responsible for Spicta's execution, an order of assassins known as the “Deity Killers”, only four are counted as survivors of the incident. It is implied that he was responsible for creating the Peace Passageway [594.68 megatons]), Higher with Visualization (Visualization not only multiplies one's speed by a specific number, but also gives a minor boost to one's attack potency), Large Island Level+ via Fully Charged Bow of the Sun Deity (Instantly obliterated the body of one of the Eclipsar upon contact, dispersed the clouds, illuminated the night sky, and generetad a quick flash of light upon exiting the phanerian atmosphere. Noah, nearly a thousand years later, put the Bow of the Sun Deity as one of the relics capable of feasibly hurting The Progeny of Evil. Speed: Massively Hypersonic (Should be somewhat comparable to Transcendentals. Dodged a hypersonic hidden blade from 10 centimeters away [Mach 503.98], and was quick enough to consistently fight against all of his attackers, albeit partly because of Visualization), Relativistic with Visualization (Spicta had the single highest Visualization multiplier across Phanerian history by a large margin, reaching an astounding 213x [Mach 107348.1]), Speed of Light via Bow of the Sun Deity.

Lifting Strength: Class T (Should be somewhat comparable to Transcendentals. Is regarded as the strongest human in phanerian history, which should put him above Liam)

Striking Strength: Mountain Level+ (His strikes are mainly physical. Capable of cutting a mountain in half with a single slash of his blade), Higher with Visualization.

Durability: Mountain Level+ (Should be comparable to his AP. Ultimately, a 10-member assassin brigade was essential for Spicta's execution, and even then, he had to be poisoned and have his abilities halved in order to be taken down completely in the end)

Stamina: Superhuman (Should be comparable to Transcendentals to a certain extent. Was still perfectly capable of fighting several individuals even as a decrepit old man. Even after being poisoned, mutilated, losing an arm, his lower jaw, blind from both eyes and having his physical abilities halved, he was still capable of fighting with a surprisingly good pace and fending off four trained assassins until his inevitable demise. His willpower was such that it had been compared to the gift of immortality, since even with all the wounds and lacerations on his body, Spicta only seemed to have died, in the end, of his own volition, allowing himself to pass from the world of the living to that of the dead)

Range: Extended Melee Range physically, Kilometers through slash projections (the air projections generated by his strikes were capable of cutting, from end-to-end, entire mountains in half), Thousands of Kilometers via Bow of the Sun Deity (its arrow presumably only fully dispersed after leaving the phanerian atmosphere)

  • Spicta's Ring: Ring worn on Spicta's right hand at all times. Infused with the Can Spell “Impersonate”, allowing Spicta to transform into anyone he touches, copying their appearance and possibly even their most pertinent memories. Spicta was able to remain transformed for as long as he wished (with the limit of the lifespan of the impersonations, which continue to age like a true body would if Spicta uses them continuously; this, however, was something that Spicta could mitigate by "double-touching" an already impersonated body upon initial transformation and creating a copy of it in case the original one became far too old), as well as having such control over the spell that he was even able to taint his form to a certain extent, such as transfiguring himself into the decrepit/deceased state of a previously copied body or changing his skin color to naturally impossible pigmentations.
  • Spicta's Infinite Bag: A waist bag made by Spicta infused with the Can Spell “Store”, allowing any object to be stored inside as long as it passes through the entrance. To remove an object from its insides, Spicta only needs to think about it while rummaging through the bottomless pit, allowing quick equipment changes to be carried out efficiently.
    • Phantom Emperor: Spicta's primary blade; A thin, darkened blade with a reflective surface, catching light and shadows in an unsettling way. Infused with the Can Spell "Dread", allows for the generation of an overwhelming tangible fear aura that seeps from the blade itself, inducing intense anxiety in nearby opponents and disrupting their focus and will to fight, as well as to cause people that come in direct contact with its projection to experience horrific visual and auditory hallucinations. Phantom Emperor was capable of causing intense fear even among the best assassins of the age, each of whom had immense levels of willpower.
    • Veilbreaker: Spicta's secondary blade; A thicker, sturdier blade, engraved with zigzagging lines that mimic cracks. Infused with the Can Spell "Shatter", allowing for the shattering of any type of physical defense (shields, armor, weapons, objects in his way, etc...), cutting straight through them regardless of their durability.
    • Maiden: Spicta's tertiary blade; A smaller, finely crafted ceremonial blade, usually kept hidden and drawn only when absolutely necessary. Infused with the Can Spell "Siphon", allowing for the quick draining of vitality from those it wounds, transferring a portion of their life essence to the wielder, instantly regenerating minor wounds and lacerations. A weapon that brings those it wounds gradually closer to death while also healing the user.
    • Bow of the Sun Deity: Spicta's complementary weapon; a sacred relic crafted from a precious metal. Intricate carvings of constellations cover the limbs of the bow, each detail pulsating faintly with a warm glow. Infused with a variation of the Can Spell "Condense", allowing for the condensation of natural light around a previously prepared arrow to create a light-speed lethal attack. However, each arrow requires a gradual 5-minute buildup to reach its full potency. The bow harnesses light over time after the spell is cast, drawing in ambient illumination from its surroundings and storing it within the bow’s core. Spicta can also launch hundreds of smaller, weaker yet still powerful arrows at once through "machinegun casting". This Grandmaster technique, however, tends to be extremely taxing to one's vocal chords, thus compromising general Spellcasting.
    • Angel's Eye: Spicta's complementary equipment; A small cyan orb attached to a bronze chain. Infused with the Could Spell “Deflect”, it allows the user to deflect any kind of projectile of a magical or supernatural nature, as long as the Angel's Eye chain is attached to their arm while chanting.


Intelligence: Extraordinary Genius (Spicta had, remarkably, one of the greatest intellects in the entire history of Phaneri. A man who lived dozens of lives in one, his genius was not restricted to just one area, but spread across countless branches of knowledge; from a leader's social and administrative knowledge to a farmer's application of agricultural techniques, his life's mission was, succinctly, to absorb as much knowledge as possible in order to better understand his self. His intellect when it came to combat was essentially divine in the era in which he lived, and he developed the first applications of Will's pedagogy on his own in a time when knowledge was scarce and hard to come by. Spicta's manuscripts describe scientific analysis, social themes and meditations on the world advanced beyond the time in which they were written, as well as extensive dissertations on the nature of Will and its applications)

Standard Tactics:

Spicta's Tactics
  • Spicta tends to start one-on-one battles using Visualization as his opening move, launching himself in the enemy's direction and immediately taking advantage of “Impersonate” to copy the opponent's form, thus also receiving the necessary information about them and their abilities (and potentially adapting their physical abilities and integrating them into his range of combat styles). In battles where there are many opponents to contend with, however, he tends to save his main spell for more opportune use.
  • He will often open with his primary blade, the Phantom Emperor, using only it for the moment and taking advantage of its intimidation to slowly shake the spirit and break his opponent's focus. If he realizes that intimidation has already been established or if he is forced to use his other blades for some reason, he will switch to his secondary blade. He also tends to utilize Shadow Step and Phantom Hand during this stage as complements to his attacks.
  • His secondary blade, the Veilbreaker, is usually used as a countermeasure to physical defenses, whatever they may be, but it is also his most used blade in general. It is the weapon with the highest physical damage in Spicta's arsenal, and commonly employed by him to deal with enemies. If that's still not enough, he will ultimately make use of his tertiary blade. He also tends to utilize Shadow Step and Order of Tempest during this stage as complements to his attacks.
  • Spicta's tertiary blade, Maiden, is rarely used as a main weapon; usually, he will use it as complementary equipment in conjunction with Veilbreaker, employing a style of two swords, one larger and one smaller, to fight his enemy, both dealing fatal wounds and absorbing their vitality at the same time with coordinated strikes. He will jump straight to this combat style if he perceives his enemy as a serious threat and worthy contender, and will also employ Shadow Step and Order of Tempest during this stage as complements to his attacks.
  • If Spicta somehow ends up losing his weapons, or thinks it would be more pertinent to use his martial skills in combat for some reason, he will use a combination of his fighting styles to effectively incapacitate his opponent, using Shadow Step for locomotion, Serpent Style as a way of quick incapacitation and accumulating damage quickly, Phantom Hand for breaking focus and willpower, and Order of Tempest for applying lethal blows.
  • Regarding the Bow of the Sun Deity, Spicta will rarely ever use it at its full potential unless the perfect opportunity to do so arrives, since the long casting time and vocal damage will often be more bothersome than helpful to him in the long run. When he uses it, however, it is in situations where it will be used as an initial surprise attack (via preparation time), when he manages to hide in a safe place to build up the spell, when he hides in the darkness through Shadow Step to properly prepare a fully charged arrow (in this case, the enemy with good eyes would be able to see the faint light emanating from the darkness once the technique is near its zenith, but may not have time to dodge or stop the process from being completed), or through "machinegun casting" to generate smaller projectiles (however, this will stil cause serious Will-related damage to his throat).
  • In all his battle stages, Spicta actively makes use of the Angel's Eye as a countermeasure to magical attacks, using his enhanced senses to deflect projectiles by means of the enchanted object. As far as Visualization is concerned, as it is a technique that is not always available, it is common for him not to use it offensively, using it at the beginning of a battle and afterward only to quickly change equipment during strategic moments or effectively deflect quick attacks. He will, however, use it offensively in quick succession if pressured enough to do so.


Weaknesses: As strong as he was, Spicta was remarkably too curious and carefree for his own good, easily impressed by his opponents' skills and carried away by their possible applications. He had the habit of educating his opponents not only in the applications of his abilities but also on their own, refusing to keep hidden information about the usage of Will, although this seemed to be restricted to individuals whom he considered to be "harmless but promising".

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Visualization: Visualization is, in short, a technique of the Adepts of Will in which, in a difficult act of pure abstraction, an experienced adept visualizes something faster than himself, a bolt of lightning as a basic example, and creates within themselves a mental image of that thing in motion, making it as precise as possible. When the image is complete, the user must imagine it reaching out and phasing through their body, becoming one with it, and taking on the properties of what has been imagined. Completing a Visualization gives the user a large increase in speed (10 times or more) that lasts a fraction of a second, which is for a single effective action or a quick burst of movement. Spicta is seen as the most notorious Visualization user in Phaneri history, as well as the current record holder for the technique's multiplier, managing to multiply his speed by 213 times the original value. Additionally, he was able to make use of the technique much more frequently than most other individuals, going so far as to further evolve to be able to visualize the perfect image once every twenty - thirty seconds in his final moments in the battle against the Eclipsar, nearly reaching the technique's "Zenith".
  • Shadow Step: Fighting style copied in his final battle against the Eclipsar. The Shadow Step allows the user to make precise movements to become one with the shadows in their environment, becoming indistinguishable within them and concealing any forms that might make them detectable by an outside force. Alternatively, should darkness be an unavailable element, the user still moves in such a way as to become invisible to the eyes of those not sufficiently focused.
  • Serpent Style: Fighting style copied at some point during one of his lives. Through fluid movement, anatomical knowledge, and attacks on specific points of one's body, the user is able to overcome resistance and paralyze an individual's limbs with their attacks, like the venom of a snake. Spicta uses his innate intellect to deduce an opponent's weak points in an instant, even if they are anatomically completely different from the human body's; a game of trial and error where he eventually gets it right.
  • Phantom Hand: Fighting style copied at some point during one of his lives. Slow, methodical spear-shaped blows make the user able to manipulate an individual's pain receptors, causing immense pain upon contact that lasts even after the targeted individual loses the affected part/limb. The blows delivered by a Phantom Hand user usually take weeks to stop aching, if not more, depending on the level of expertise.
  • Order of Tempest: Fighting style copied at some point during one of his lives. Dance-like combat style that allows for the usage of both weapons and bare hands to generate projections of wind slashes through powerful cutting movements. A pseudo-manipulation of the air around the user, turning it into a lethal weapon that can hit the opponent even from long distances.
