Summary[]
Skin Hunters are a fairly common monster found within the universe of Monstrosity. They are humanoid creatures that while at first may appear human, the longer a person looks at them, the more they realize their true nature.
Skin Hunters don't prey on just anyone, instead, the targets appear to change from pack to pack, as some collect flawless skins and keep them as trophies while others prefer going for scarred or tattooed skin in order to decorate the barren walls of their caves.
While most Skin Hunters will be found within caves in nearby forests, Some packs will instead prefer the comfortable living space of an abandoned building, especially if the building is surrounded by point of interest such as modelling agencies or tattoo shops.
Skin Hunters are typical nocturnal and thus only truly dangerous during the night, but some pack of them have picked up the habit of hunting during the day instead, using their somewhat human appearance and discarded clothes of their victims in order to fool humans, as such they have been seperated into two categories, the Day Hunters and the Night Hunter.
Day Hunters, having adapted to trickery instead of brute strength, are naturally smaller and less bulky than their night counterpart, they however make it up by sporting superior intelligence. Thanks to being more exposed to humans, Day Hunters have slowly started learning their language and body language, and as such uses them as a way to attract them into traps.
Night Hunters, having never changed their ways, are more animalistic than their day counterpart and instead make up for it throught superior strength and agility. Night Hunters use their swiftness to follow their unsuspecting victim through the night as if shadows, before landing the killing blow in one powerful attack.
May they be Day or Night Hunters, Skin Hunters packs have incredibly tight social relationships and as such are especially formidable if they are to work together in order to hunt down a target.
