Summary[]
“ | And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. (...) And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. | „ |
~ Revelations, 8:2,5-6 (KJV). |
The Seven Trumpets, also known as the Seven Trumpets of Apocalypse, are seven instruments mentioned in the book of Revelations, carried by seven Angels. At the sounding of each trumpet, an event of destruction on Earth is announced, with the sounding of the trumpet being heard by all heavenly beings. The First Trumpet sounded when a Demon possessing the President of the United States ordered the destruction of the Holy City, Jerusalem, by launching a hundred megaton nuclear warhead at the city. To the demons' surprise, Jerusalem was under the protection of Kamael, the Archangel of Fire, who protected the city.
However, the destruction of the other cities was inevitable, fulfilling the prophecy of Revelations; "The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up." - Revelations 8:7. Although they are called the Seven Trumpets, only six are from disasters, with the last, the seventh, being the start of the Armageddon war on Mount Tel Megiddo, with the forces of light and order, led by the Archangel Regent of Light, against the Prince of the Abyss, Abaddon.
