The SR-2 Veresk is a Russian submachine gun, which is intended to fire the 9x21mm Gyurza cartridge. It was designed in 1999 by TsNIITochMash, on the request of the Federal Security Service of Russia, which earned the designation of "пециальная Разработка 2", which meant Special Development 2, and was nicknamed "Veresk", which is essentially known as "Heather" in real life.
It differs from most submachine guns from it's rotating bolt, though it was borrowed from the SR-3 "Vikhr" assault rifle, though it is similar to the Uzi as well, with a mount for a "red dot" sight on top of said receiver, with an upwards folding metal stock installed as well. The weapon is primarily designed to engage enemies wearing body armor that is able to stop normal pistol bullets, and soft-skinned vehicles up to 200 meters as well.
