Summary[]
The SCP Fanon wiki is a community-driven writing platform hosted on Fandom, which grants its users greater creative freedom compared to the official SCP Foundation website. While there are still standards in place to prevent low-effort content, the wiki allows writers to explore a wider range of ideas and concepts.
Within the fictional universe of the Foundation, the organization's main focus remains unchanged: to secure, contain, and study anomalous activity. These anomalies, referred to as "SCPs" or "skips," can take the form of enchanted objects, humans with extraordinary abilities, obscure life forms, divine entities, and even pataphysical beings.
However, containment begins deteriorating rapidly as numerous researchers exploit the anomalies for personal gain. The majority of these occurrences happen in Site-96, a site of massive proportions comparable to that of a whole city. This starts a revolution within the Foundation, with more anomalies joining the chase.
How to Play[]
“ | I’m not the axe, Mr. Manus. I’m God. I don’t need to expend effort to strike down any tree I see. I say “smite” and it happens. And you know what I do when some BEANSTALK tries to get rise to the levels of the heavens!? Well, let me put it this way, Jack ain’t climbing up after you. | „ |

The SCP Fanon Wiki offers two distinct settings to roleplay within the SCP universe:
- Site Roleplaying: This style of roleplaying takes place within the context of the SCP Foundation itself. Players take on the roles of Foundation personnel, such as scientists, agents, and security personnel, and interact with each other and with SCP objects in a collaborative storytelling environment where you can write anything you want (as long as it fits within the narrator's genre).
- Alternate Universe Roleplaying: In this style of roleplaying, players are free to explore alternate versions of the SCP universe, where different rules, characters, and scenarios may apply. This style of roleplaying allows for greater creative flexibility and encourages players to explore new and exciting possibilities within the SCP universe. The rules of storytelling remain the same, however.
Once you have chosen your setting, the next step is to determine how you want your roleplay to be played. This involves establishing the rules, guidelines, and mechanics. Here are the basic mechanics that you will probably find in roleplays:
- Collaboration-Based Roleplaying: A common and simple way of roleplaying. One person starts the roleplay, another person adds to the narrative, chaos erupts, peace is probably achieved (you can write if it is or isn't), and the story comes to a close. Unless you just get bored.
- Turn-Based Roleplaying: In turn-based roleplaying, players take turns posting their actions or dialogue in a predetermined order. This approach is used in "violent" roleplays which are all about fighting and teaming up on each other. Really, the only proper way to win this is just to hang out with your friends with any weapons you can find. As long as only one person is not in your "team," it should still be.
- Gambling-Based Roleplaying: In Gambling-Based Roleplaying, you bet all of your drastic actions on a simple roll of a digital four-sided dice. Basically, the outcome of your survival and fighting capabilities will be determined by a random roll of the dice. The dice will have a range of possible values, with the lowest possible value being 1 and the highest possible value being 4. Rolling a 1 would represent the worst possible outcome, while rolling a 4 would represent the best possible outcome. Here is a short summary:
●●○○ (You pull it off successfully, but there are some consequences)
●●●○ (You pull it off successfully, but you are still a target if there is a threat)
●●●● (You pull it off successfully, no consequences)
To keep magic "somewhat realistic," supernatural abilities in roleplays are just the manipulation of mathematics (since the verse has its Type IV Tegmark, but with no contradictions).
Classes[]
“ | As for other news, we’re getting a new shipment of Slave Labor— I mean D-Class personnel for all your torturing needs! That’s it for today, enjoy the rest! | „ |

Unlike the official wiki, the SCP Fanon wiki has way more personnel ranks, all of which information having been copied and pasted down below. It features old and new rankings. For more information, please read "Welcome to Site-96."
Class J-C: Class J-C personnel are Janitors working at The Foundation that have now been transported over to this site with a contract to keep the information inside of this site classified, or they are rookies still new to the site. If you're a rookie and you feel smaller compared to others, just know that there are more like you! Class J-C personnel are not allowed to come into contact with dangerous Euclid Class unless the anomaly is sentient and friendly.
Class J-B: Class J-B are rookies that are now getting better and better at training. They are likely to become researchers. Class J-B personnel are allowed to defend themselves during a containment breach, and have the responsibility of assisting Class J-C personnel. However, (much like Class J-C personnel) they are still not allowed to come into contact with dangerous anomalies.
Class J-A: Class J-A personnel are now almost fully trained personnel, likely to be joining the researchers in their experiments. They are now trusted by the site, and are allowed to come into contact with Euclid Class anomalies instead of Safe anomalies.
Class R-C: Class R-C personnel are junior researchers or new guards that have surpassed Class J. They now have the ability to come into contact with with dangerous Euclid Class anomalies (while being protected or with backup) by at least a few guards from Class R-B.
Class R-B: Class R-B personnel are trusted members of the site, now either guards with decent experience or now decently good and trained researchers.
Class R-A: Class R-A personnel are trusted members of the site, now Head Researchers or leaders of Mobile Task Forces.
Class RG: Class RG personnel are commanders higher than the O4 Command. They are allowed to schedule a meeting with the O5 Council under strict security measures. However, they are still below the Council's rank. Class RG personnel are to be designated with their own codenames, and guarded by trusted Class R-B or Class R-A personnel.
Power of the Verse[]
The most weakest entities the verse has to offer are usually intrafictional beings or books, all of them being placed at 11-C or 11-A, with almost all of them being able to manipulate dimensionality nonetheless.
Due to the wiki mainly being focused on roleplaying and documenting the supernatural, the baseline humans on the website is generally weak when it comes to physical abilities which weaker anomalies are capable of emitting, with the scaling baseline being 10-B to 9-C. However, to Foundation personnel working at Site-96, this spectrum shatters completely, with most humans being able to launch not just their souls, but their bodies upwards through the narrative hierarchy with the Iteration Stabilizer Rift.
Weaker Foundation gadgets vary between Low 4-C to High 3-A. Upgraded gadgets have the potential of reaching 2-A, with the Akubeerta - the so-called "lowest structure" in the cosmology - being able break the tiering system altogether.

“ | If you've ever owned a gun before, you would probably remember saying, "Oh, this is just for self-defense." This time however, it isn't going to be. | „ |
- Iteration Stabilizer Rift: The Iteration Stabilizer Rift was intended to function as a sort of "cosmic security camera," monitoring the myriad of alternate realities and narratives for any signs of anomalous activity. Its primary mission was to capture the elusive SCP-9301 and SCP-9301-1.
- Sword of Spade: Harnessed from Spade's malice, the Sword of Spade is incredibly powerful, capable of killing opponents in one hit. In roleplaying circles, the Sword of Spade is often seen as an "overpowered gadget," a weapon so powerful that it can easily unbalance the roleplay if used to its fullest potential. Many narrators choose to limit its capabilities or restrict its use to prevent it from overshadowing other characters or becoming too dominant in the story. Of course, this doesn't mean that the sword is invincible, as any player that rolls a straight four can easily survive its attacks.
- Pyroignition Flamethrower: Magnesium, a highly flammable piece of metal that creates blinding lights. Napalm, a flammable jelly-like mixture that burns extremely quickly, and won't be easily put out. Alcohol, a flammable drink due to its concentration of oxygen. Put these three together with the alcohol as fuel and with the magnesium and Napalm as ammo, you would get the Pyroignition Flamethrower.
