The first clue that a "Monty Haul" world is about to be eaten comes when the characters walk out of their gold-plated +8 castle walls, wearing their +22 Platemail of Prismatic Invulnerability, and see the sun disappear.
~ Dragon Magazine

Quazar Dragons are a being introduced as a joke by Dragon Magazine as an official campaign finisher for any DM to use on their overpowered party. Their enormous size and gluttonous taste for magic leads them to be the most feared enemy in the Dungeons and Dragons setting, with no mortal creature being able to outright face its raw might.

With that said, they have been known to quarrel with several civilizations, including the Mind Flayers. These creatures are rare and seek to devour all magic. They are feared even by gods- for their magic is simply absorbed.
