Preston, full name being Preston Ramirez, is the main antagonist in the hit Mascot horror game; Preston's Hourglass by Dreadful Studios, which was released on October 7th, 2023. In the game "Preston’s Hourglass," A team of Archeologists are tasked with exploring the Prestonian Catacombs and discovers an ancient artifact called “Preston's Hourglass”, which has the power to manipulate time. However, when they touch the hourglass, a Eldric time demon named Preston wakes up and kills every member on the team. With the remaining Survivor getting their hands on his Hourglass, their goal is to escape the catacombs by collecting eight pieces of a spell that can put Preston back to sleep. they finally succeed in doing so, and finds their way out.
The game's lore consists of notes written by the scientists who created the Hourglass. The project was created in 1971, and Preston, one of the scientists, accidentally breaks a researcher's nose in September of that year. By March of 1972, they completed the hourglass, but when they tested it, they accidentally destabilized time and caused massive chaos in Prestonia. Preston later becomes obsessed with the hourglass and its shape and continues his research, but it ultimately costs him his marriage on Christmas eve. Years later, the project is complete, and the scientists have discovered how to manipulate time in a contained space. However, in May 1975, something goes horribly wrong and many people are killed, massive destruction Caused by Preston and his Hourglass.
