Summary[]
Poseidon, also known as Neptune and the God of the Seas, is the younger brother of Hades and the older brother of Zeus, being the son of Khronos and Rhea. Poseidon is the ruling god of the seas and oceans, not having a good reputation among the other pantheons, although his power is respected and admired, as in the Greek pantheon only Hades is comparable to him, with only Zeus and Athena being more powerful than him. Poseidon was also the lover of his niece, Athena.
Poseidon is also known and hated by several deities for being one of those responsible for the Flood, being the one who made the waters of the oceans and rivers and seas rise in level, helping the Earth to be flooded by water, killing billions of innocent humans. The flood was an event planned by various gods of the Divine Council, with the gods Yahweh, Asherah, El, Zeus, Poseidon, Ra and Sekhmet agreeing to send a mighty Flood to punish humanity and Azazel and his companions for they rebellion against the gods. The Flood is what made Asbeel and his friends want to rebel against God's will, which resulted in their downfall.

Human thoughts ended up emanating beings of great power, personifying their views and opinions about the universe that surrounds them, giving rise to entities known as Gods, amtromorphic or incorporeal personifications of the human imagination. These gods initially were a boon to mankind, helping them to evolve and develop, but after humans started following their own will instead of their gods' will, this ended up causing many gods to tyrannically try to forcing people to worship them, resulting in the 21st century with most gods being rejected and abandoned. Poseidon in particular is the personification of the ocean, sea and storms.
