I don't understand what I am feeling, this overwhelming urge. That look on your face. But if there is one thing I know for certain. It's that you are going to die by my hands.
~ Nakano to Ialgazon

I am Nakano Rivera! A woman with a purpose! I fight for hope, for peace, and for those who need saving! I am a hero!
~ Nakano's declaration before her ascension into a Paradox Demon

Nakano Rivera is the main protagonist of Collapse, an amnesiac individual that was dragged into a skirmish spanning across space and time itself. Waking up in a junkyard, she would climb out and wonder where she came from. Across her journey, she eventually formed a group of allies that became her closest friends in order to destroy the Abyssal Court, a faction that had taken over the world. Still, she wanted to know where she came from and that drove her to travel across the world and became her motivation to fight the Court. However, she tossed that motivation aside to simply fight against the injustices of the Court. At the middle of her journey, her true purpose was discovered. She was designed to be the perfect human and overall ultimate life-form that would succeed humanity.

But that was a cover story made by a King in Yellow, hiding her true purpose under layers of deception. In truth, she was the first successful experiment in creating a living Omikami, the weapons that fell from spaces beyond. Using the cloned body of a victim killed by such a weapon in a freak accident, the powerful tool bonded to the cloned body. This body was indeed crafted to perfection, to be the perfect vessel of the Omikami that had bonded to her. In addition, she would inherit Hastur's Presence, making her its continuation. At the same time, the soul of the one who was killed by the Omikami recognized her cloned self and found herself within this new body to guide a fledgling sentience. Now both the Presence of Hastur and the soul of a gentle woman would manage to emerge within her mind once more. Struggling with this new revelation, she would find herself fighting against The Crawling Chaos before from this mental struggle emerged a new self, unbound by both and asserting her identity upon the world. A Paradox Demon, one who cannot be seen by even the Outer Gods.

Appearance[]

It's quite ironic that Nakano looks younger than her actual age, that being 24. In fact, she looks a lot more like a young adult, perhaps speaking about her deeper mysteries. She was supposedly the perfect human, after all. She nearly reaches the height of six feet, something which she is often teased about, much to her chagrin. The title of perfected human speaks to other aspects of her visage. Despite her slender arms and body, each fiber of her muscles are filled with unimaginable strength to push the very mountains and tear apart the fabric of reality. The moment her body begins to exert itself in combat, it begins to show off her toned musculature, each part of her arms rippling with strength that exudes an aura unnatural. All the while, it still manages to keep the general shape of her arms. While hidden, she manages to sport a six-pack that can even shatter steel that manages to impact it. For the most part, she can be seen as the tank of the Rebels, being seen as an unstoppable sword that cleanly cuts through foes. Every single part of her body is a weapon built for combat, a vessel for one of the most dangerous armaments in all of existence itself.

What she often wears is a dark navy blue button-up shirt with various straps attached to it, serving as a double purpose to act as impromptu weapons in the midst of combat. The fabric is enhanced by her own status as an Omikami, making it so that every inch of cloth can become deadly at a moment's notice, although the straps are the most obvious. These straps are quite unique as they've been enhanced by Nixon's own workings on the clothings of the Rebels. The materials of the straps are made from the leather of cloned pieces of a dead eldritch god the Borea was built upon. As such, they can conduct her energy to a beyond perfect 120%. In addition to this are goth-like clothes, being as black as the void between stars. Black slacks that carry with them the hint of colors of cosmic phenomena within its fabric as it reflects the very visage of space.

The combat boots she wears are enhanced with the strongest substance known to Nixon, as she has broken multiple of them in various fights. So the genius inventor and planner took that as a challenge. This substance is an extremely dense fragment of a star folded in on itself dozens of times over through the manipulation of space-time. This has led to these combat boots being the most durable thing Nakano wears, possibly even being the only thing Nakano can wear without any repurcussions due to the sheer weight simply tethering someone else to the ground or snapping one's legs entirely through the force alone. Consider it the weight of mountains or not, but Nakano can channel her own Presence through them to turn them into as light as a feather or as heavy as an entire star, making it an incredibly deadly piece of her arsenal.

There are other pieces of clothing she wears whenever the Rebels manage to find moments of respite and comfort. So there are times when one can find her wearing a simple navy t-shirt with navy pants and simple running shoes. In fact, she is a bit of a fashionista with her various clothes she has managed to accrue with Amara. When she and Adam went to an amusement park with the rest of the Rebels, she was wearing a black sleeveless dress that stopped above her knees, although she also wore a pair of black arm-warmers in addition due to the cold weather. Adorning her neck was a set of necklaces with various symbols designated to each member of the Rebels, who she considers her family. To finish off this set of clothing she wore a pair of thigh-high boots alongside a black strap around her right leg. She has worn other things, but these are the most notable amongst them, seeing as how they hold sentimental value to her and Adam.

Personality[]

On the outside, Nakano would definitely feel like the punk goth kid that kids' parents would want their children to stay away from. Quiet, brooding, it's no wonder no one would want to try and be around her. She even fights with a style unlike any other, skilled in areas that feels like she has been trained to kill others. So she is obviously uncomfortable to be around, and it definitely makes sense. There are times when she can occasionally snap and cause a rude outburst, which is often why many people feel as if she's more akin to a ticking time bomb. Doesn't help when she listens to what is often misunderstood as heavy metal and is often seen smoking. She finds herself often in heavy weather, whether it be simple rain or a thunderstorm, unafraid of what may hail down upon her. It's as if she walks into these natural events without any sort of reason as to why. Being rather quiet, Nakano doesn't speak that often, trying to convey her message in as few words as possible. Being rather gifted due to her inheritance of her gene-mother, Nakano is also something akin to an empath, understanding the emotions of those around her. But it also backfires since she can understand the emotions of others easily, she believes that they can understand her's as well.

But underneath that often cold exterior is a unique woman that simply has trouble expressing herself. The presence of others around her is enough to keep her happy, especially when no one talks. She finds joys in what many would consider niche, such as old RPG and Strategy games. The rain is where she finds herself most comfortable due to it simply creating quite a lot of white noise no matter where she is. She's inclined to the cold weather due to the fact that most are drawn to it as well. That being, you can always put more clothes on instead of being in hot weather where you can't do much but endure it. Although Nakano finds respite in the silence of herself, she also tries to do anything to busy herself, mostly due to avoid getting bored. More than anything else, she's just terrible at communicating with others.

Diving Deeper[]

Or, so many think. The fact of the matter is, Nakano is terrible at communicating with others due to feeling isolated from others. At the beginning, this was due to the fact that she woke up alone. After all, imagine waking up in the middle of a bunch of trash and having to crawl your way back to civilization. During this journey back, her mind was reeling with thoughts just like anyone else in her situation, supposedly. Why was she left in the middle of scraps and undesirables? Why did she wake up on such a specific time? She was left with next to nothing to help her understand why. This was only made worse when she entered the Borea, only to be chased down by Ialgazon and her Corrupted Ones. For the better parts of her new waking life, she was on the run within the city that seemed to span on into infinity. Constantly hunted by a demigod enforcing law using monsters she believed to be the city's police force. Although it may be common sense to see that these beings are clearly not human, Nakano didn't have any, simple as that.

This encounter with one of the members of the Abyssal Court would grow into a bitter rivalry against the two that would reach its height during the event known as Chronos. But that will be discussed later on, for now, Nakano would find herself escaping the city with aid from a strange man. In this escape, Nakano would find herself doubtful of her own abilities, the isolation sprouting off to form something else. She found herself feeling as if she was becoming a burden for this man, having to rely on him for understanding this world she found herself being so painfully detached from. This only heightened itself when she met the Rebels, a group of people that were rejects to the society of the Borea. Despite this, their scientist saw her as an odd person with her mannerisms and actions. This would eventually come ahead in where she fought alongside the Rebels against the Shoggoth.

Nakano wanted to prove herself, especially after the immortal was able to beat her in a previous spar and chided her for not knowing about her Presence. In the whole time she spent in the Rebels, Nakano had failed to understand what her Presence was capable of in addition to fully using it. This was due to a certain being's plan to truly end this whole cosmic mess once and for all. This plan completely unknown to her, and as such, being unable to use her Presence. In this foolhardy action, she had caused the Shoggoth to release a massive amount of energy that caused a crater in the Earth. This great explosion made Nakano begin to realize the destruction she could cause, and the amount of power she held. Unbeknownst to her, the power of the mysterious entity's Presence activated to demonstrate her immense capability. The sense of detachment grew even stronger at the sight. Until Adam stood there, helping her come back to her senses.

Now, we talk about Chronos. The event that would shake the Universe, in which the Abyssal Court declared war against The Rebels. But we truly don't start Nakano's decline until she fights against Ialgazon, and where the height of their rivalry explodes. Here is where Ialgazon claims that Nakano is the creation of the Abyssal Court, and mortally harms her own anchor to the world. Adam. In that moment, where she found herself staring at her only anchor, whose life was beginning to fade in front of her eyes, Nakano felt desperation and rage. So in the midst of it all, she gives into the detachment she was feeling and uses all of her power and strength to kill her rival. All else narrowed and once her head cleared, she had gained the fear of the Rebels around her. No longer could they be anchors, but now lifelines she was losing grip of. So she fell, and hit rock bottom.

Here's the funny thing about hitting rock bottom. It's that there is only way to go, and that's up. That's where Nakano's fight against Ta-Thoth begins her climb back up to humanity and attachments. Ta-Thoth is a unique being in the midst of the whole Abyssal Court, as he is nothing more than a battle-hungry warrior in comparison to his far more devious companions. Wanting nothing more than a fight, he saw Nakano and her strength, and challenged her to a fight. In their fight, Ta-Thoth and Nakano began to understand each other. Each clash became more than just a fight, but an understanding and impasse between each other. As they fought, Nakano began to understand pride and honor. She began to understand the thrill of battle, and how it could be used to understand one another. She understood what it meant to spar, to fight. Something within her slowly woke up, and although it might've been good for now, it was about to lead to her next development.

This next development begins by finding herself waking up in a mental landscape of complete darkness. Of complex symbols and equations dotting the ceiling like stars, and she found herself facing a king in yellow, watching as it expertly altered and moved such symbols and mathematical signs all around itself. All sense of wonder and awe broke when the entity began to speak to her. Although it wouldn't fully reveal who Nakano was, it revealed what her Presence was. At the same time, it mocked her, it called her a weapon of its own design. A key to its plan that she was unintentionally forwarding. A tool, and nothing more. Having climbed out of rock bottom and now beginning to feel like a human once again, Nakano rejected that notion. But having just learned of pride and honor, she grasped on the straws of desperation to prove herself.

But she then met another being in her subconscious. Unbeknownst to Nakano, she was conversing with the victim of the first Omikami. A gentle woman who would fight against those who would harm the innocent and defenseless. This lone woman was different from the previous entity Nakano faced in her previous dream. She had exuded a kindness like no other, but just as equally mysterious. Having been stranded in an alternate World, Nakano would begin to make her way back to the Rebels, at the same time, learning more about these two entities with each time she slept. The more she interacted with these two voices, the stronger their existence became over her. Through the first few dreams, they were nothing but whispers. But as these dreams into her subconscious became more frequent, the more their voices grew. Soon enough, they were loud enough to truly converse with Nakano, and her back to them.

Becoming Her Own Individual[]

As she returned to the Rebels, Nakano discovered that they had managed to defeat Xerxece. Joining back up with them, they would move on to fight against The Crawling Chaos and its massive army of Corrupted Ones. It was easy to defeat the army due to their leaps and bounds in strength so all that was left was the great eldritch being itself. But at the height of the climax, Nakano's voices grew to an impossible level of sound, and she was disoriented enough to be mortally wounded. In this state, she could only watch as her world was torn from her hands in front of her once again. Unable to truly take the sight, she retreated into her own mind. Within this mental landscape, Nakano met with Hastur and the female, now recognized as Cassanova, for one last time.

There the two entities tried to convince her what to do. Hastur called Nakano out on who she truly was at her core. She was an Omikami, and it began to reveal who she truly was. A cloned entity of the Cassanova before her, a being with its Presence to act as its own continuation of itself. It told her that its plan was nearing completion, and now all she needed to do was let go of the world. Trade it all for power, to return to who she was at her core, a continuation of Hastur. The moment she would do so, she would gain the full power of the Observation of the Outer Gods, acting as their avatar to truly wipe Nyarlathotep out of reality. This would mean to destroy the Universe and her own self, but it was required to truly end a threat to existence.

But Cassanova spoke of something different. Although she asked Nakano to consider helping others, she conceded in the fact that discovering who Nakano truly was, was not up to her. So instead Cassanova had delegated herself to helping Nakano discover her true identity, even if it meant the cost of her own life. In this moment between the two of them, Nakano rejected both identities and rose to become her own self. Becoming truly unbound from both identities, Nakano would craft her own self, using her own emotions and the experiences she learned across her journey. In this moment, Nakano became her true self, a self rising out of two contradicting identities. A Paradox Demon. With that power and confidence in herself, she chased Nyarlathotep into the rift it had opened when it absorbed Adam for one last battle. A power against the Silver Key and the Impossibility. It's easy to know what happens next.

Approaching the Edge of Annihilation, Nakano would battle against Nyarlathotep in a battle that would determine not just the Universe, but the whole cosmos as well. Their battle raged across every facet of reality, each being trading blow for blow. But in their fight, the Crawling Chaos began to realize the strength Nakano had as a being who embodied the Improbability between her two identities as mortal and Omikami. It had created a Paradox Demon like no other, and it realized too late. Everything was designed to destroy it, drain it of its power, although this was never part of Hastur's plan. The power of a being unimaginable, but with the heart of a human. In the end, Nakano split Nyarlathotep from Adam, taking away its power as the Silver Key as it had gained enough power to become the Supreme Archetype. Using the blade of the Shining Trapezohedron, she sealed the Crawling Chaos within it, before finally annihilating it and using the power of the Supreme Archetype to restore the Universe back into the Multiverse.

Relationships[]

Adam[]

You sound like some kind of college essay.
~ Nakano in A Simple Smoke

Adam was the first man that Nakano ever looked at it in a good light. He was the first person to help her escape from the Borea and beat back against her rival. But despite his assistance, she was relatively wary of him as much as he was of her. After all, they had been keeping watch of each other over the course she had entered the Borea. So there was a sense of unease amongst the two, even as he watched her fight against a member of the Abyssal Court and against the Corrupted Ones. After leading her back to the Rebels, Nakano was too nervous to actually introduce herself so Adam had to talk for her. While that would lead to a distrust amongst the other members, she found herself seeing him as someone reliable.

In the moments of respite, Adam was one of Nakano's main tutors about the world she found herself in. So it would be obvious to see the two growing closer and understanding each other through these moments. In these moments, she realized how similar she was to him in their personality and how they preferred to communicate. In addition, Adam was also delegated to taking care of Nakano in situations she didn't recognize. This was mostly due to him claiming that since he had brought her in, he would be the one to take care of anything that happened from his actions. This continuous contact with the man fostered a strong connection and bond the two had to each other. Unknowingly, he had become an anchor for Nakano.

As Adam had constantly helped her in exploring and knowing about this world she found herself in, Nakano felt herself becoming an immensely heavier burden upon the man. It was even worse when she had to constantly spar against Amara and Nixon, both of whom had already their own unique properties or had unlocked their own Presence. This resulted in Nakano constantly on the losing end and with multiple injuries at the end of each spar, with Adam having to patch her up. So it is expected to see one's self as a burden after such. Although this was a part of the reason why she charged in, Nakano wanted to truly prove herself to Adam in this moment. Unfortunately, this moment led to a devastating explosion which Nakano had to face the consequences of. Despite this, Adam comforted her in this time and led her through the process of Alternative Observation.

Just like before in their moments of respite in escaping to different worlds, Nakano and Adam became closer and closer. This was evident in one moment where Nakano had found herself laying down on a patch of grass staring up at the skies. This was after a particular event where Nyarlathotep deceived her in telling of her true purpose and who she was. That being, the idea that Nakano was nothing more than a perfect human crafted by the Abyssal Court. So who else other than Adam stepped up to comfort her. The conversation was awkward, to say the least. But it did manage to help her open up to Adam further and show off a side of herself she could barely show to others. As the two talked under the starlight of another world, Nakano wanted to understand the man with her better.

Unfortunately that offer wouldn't be able to come to fruition in that world, or the next couple of worlds that they had to hop. In fact, in their travels amongst the Universe, the Rebels encountered a terrifying beast that threatened to genuinely kill them all. Whether it be a failed experiment or an abomination created by some cosmic coincidence, it didn't matter. But this beast managed to absolutely terrify the Rebels, with even Nixon unable to think straight. It took control of their Alternative Observation, forcing them to stay within the dizzying lights of the teleportation. It recognized who the leader was, and began to drag Adam away.

Out of everyone else, Nakano was the first to act by immediately charging in and striking the beast. Whether it did any damage or not she did not care as she began to drag Adam away from the monstrosity. Although Adam wasn't severely wounded, in Nakano's eyes, he was. So she refused to let any further harm come to him. So in the resulting struggle, Nakano fought like a frenzied beast while being unable to listen to Adam trying to talk her down. This showed her dependence upon Adam, clinging him to an anchor to still be attached to the world. At least, those were her thoughts, whether anyone else saw it or not is unclear. In any case, that struggle to merely keep him safe showed a connection to Adam. The Rebels managed to escape after Nixon had managed to get ahold of his Alternative Observation, but Nakano refused to leave Adam's side in their next jumps.

But after multiple jumps and life or death circumstances, the Rebels actually managed to hide within a world temporarily unseen by the Abyssal Court. Although temporary, the Rebels could take a moment to actually relax. So, Adam decided to treat Nakano to a day-off at an amusement park. In this amusmement park, the two were able to show off their skills to each other in friendly competition. Whether it be through crane games, darts, or the like the two saw themselves as equally matched. In addition, Nakano managed to break down Adam's walls and understand why he was so stoic and formal in the first place. What made him become the leader of the Rebels and his general past. Of course, the both of them were unimpressed with even the most intense roller coasters, seeing as how they faced multiple life or death situations.

But Nakano showed off a hidden side of herself that even she didn't know when she looked over a plush toy. Despite Adam knowing that it would be torn apart in their travels, he helped her anyways to grab it. The two continued to spend their time together in the park, before finally ending off the day with the whole of the Rebels piling on into the ferris wheel. Strangely enough, Nakano felt a strange tug to push the others out to leave her alone with Adam, but she didn't do anything to act upon it. Funnily enough, this was how she learned and first felt disappointment unknowingly at the time. But it was still a genuine moment of respite, a moment of respite when she delegated herself to guarding the Rebels, especially Adam, only for the next day to arrive and the Abyssal Court found them. Thus, began Chronos.

While many things happened in Chronos, the most important event was when Nakano and Adam were forced to fight against Ialgazon. During this fight, Nakano and Adam were easily outmatched by the eldritch demi-god, who mocked them constantly throughout for their ties to each other. And then, Adam was mortally wounded. Despite having been taught about various injuries and how to treat them, this was the first time Nakano saw something as such in person. So when she saw Adam barely hanging onto life, she believed that he couldn't be healed and that he was about to die. As such, her own mind exploded with thoughts of desperation, anxiety, and most glaring of all, anger. As memories of her time with Adam flashed through her mind, Nakano faced against Ialgazon. Due to her status as an Omikami, Nakano would simply grow and decimate Ialgazon to the point where she simply ended the demi-god with a simple thrust that broke through all of her barriers.

After that debacle, Nakano believed Adam was in his last moments as she simply began to cry and break down in front of him. But in the midst of her sorrows, Adam once again comforted her. Even though the man was mortally injured, his own Omikami was doing everything it could to keep him alive, and as such, awake. So in the desolate world, Nakano spent her time stitching Adam up thanks to his help. Another moment to further their bond, but soon the rest of the Rebels showed up and they saw the rather gruesome sight of Ialgazon's own death. Shaken up by this entire experience, Nakano could sense their fear and as Adam couldn't respond, she could also sense his fear. Unfortunately due to her mental state, she assumed the worst and left before they could say anything.

So fast-forward past Ta-Thoth's fight and Nakano reconvening with them. The first thing she did was jump into Adam's arms, glad to know he was doing much better thanks to Nixon and Amara's help. After the reunion, each member of the Rebels spent their time preparing for the end of Chronos. But during this time, Nakano and Adam began to talk to each other once more, fixing misunderstandings and problems in their bond. Throughout the ending fight against Nyarlathotep and his army of Corrupted Ones, Nakano and Adam fought side by side once again. But this time, Adam had broken past multiple barriers in unlocking his true potential as the Silver Key. So the fight to the Crawling Chaos was rather smooth. Until the actual fight, where Adam was subsumed into Nyarlathotep's being.

The moment that happened, Nakano retreated into her mind once more. But the guiding voice in helping her through this process was not just Cassanova, but also Adam's own as well. Hastur did inform her that Adam wasn't lost just yet, and that gave her enough hope to once again face off against Nyarlathotep. During this whole fight, Adam was the one still fighting inside of Nyarlathotep's being and one of the few that were observing her, allowing her to keep fighting. Eventually, she succeeded in completely separating Adam from the Crawling Chaos. After the entire debacle of resetting the Universe back into the Multiverse, Nakano had managed to muster up her courage to ask Adam out. Although he did accept, this story doesn't have a happy ending as she would fade away from existence. The power of the observation keeping her tied to the lesser planes as a physical projection was now fading, and she would disappear soon after. A bit unfortunate, but she did leave behind the last scraps of whatever existence she had with Adam to be kept safe.

  • Space-Time Manipulation (Type II: The Shining Trapezohedron was capable of dramatically restructuring the kaleidoscope of space-time. Recreated and restored the multiverse)
  • Sealing (The Shining Trapezohedron sealed Nyarlathotep within itself)
  • Power Absorption (The Shining Trapezohedron took the powers of Nyarlathotep and used it to restore the multiverse)
  • Plot Manipulation (The Shining Trapezohedron is a weapon of narrative manipulation and can be used to rewrite the plot, with those who wield it seeing walls of text describing their story. Described as the 'pen of reality' and overpowered the influence of the Outer Gods in order to restore the multiverse back into being)
  • Possibly many more (The Shining Trapezohedron was capable of recreating the multiverse after ending the Ultimate Void, which would include conceptual and abstract realms. However, it is unknown if the Shining Trapezohedron recreated the realms in question or if they appeared after the multiverse was created)

Attack Potency: Small City Level (Comparable to, and capable of defeating, weaker Corrupted Ones, who have shown to be able to destroy small mountains [6.070e15 Joules]) | Small Country Level (Capable of defeating the Shoggoth, who could create a blast that could be seen from outer space [4.86 Teratons]) | Dwarf Star Level (Could contend with Ta-Thoth and even overpower his stronger attacks, who could generate enough power to kick the Earth out of orbit and make it move at 20% the speed of light [6.06 x 10^39 J]) | Dwarf Star Level (Stronger than before), at least Multiverse Level+ with The Shining Trapezohedron (The Shining Trapezohedron is the result of Nyarlathotep's power as Supreme Archetype being absorbed into the essence of the blade and used to power it. Destroyed the Ultimate Void and recreated the multiverse)

Speed: At least FTL (Capable of dodging and moving faster than beams of light. Can keep up with weaker Corrupted Ones, who are capable of moving beyond light-speed) | At least FTL (Far faster than before) | At least FTL, possibly Immeasurable (Began to catch up with Nyarlathotep's speed when she began to fight him) | Immeasurable (Can keep up with Nyarlathotep after his absorption of the Silver Key, who was capable of moving from the beginning to the end of time)

Lifting Strength: At least Class T (Could lift up the weight of mountains, and was implied she could lift even more) | At least Class T | Stellar (Could lift up the moon, even when she was surprised by the action, which had the relativistic mass of a star) | Immeasurable (Could contend and grapple with Nyarlathotep, who was capable of supporting the weight of his own pocket-reality, which is its own space-time)

Striking Strength: Small City Level | Small Country Level | Dwarf Star Level | Dwarf Star Class, Multiversal+ with the Shining Trapezohedron

Durability: Small City Level, Immortality and Regeneration makes her hard to kill | Small Country Level, Immortality and Regeneration makes her hard to kill | Dwarf Star Level, Immortality and Regeneration makes her hard to kill | Dwarf Star Level, Immortality and Regeneration makes her hard to kill (Despite nearly dying on multiple occasions, she has survived thanks to her status and came back from what was death numerous times)

Stamina: Superhuman, possibly Infinite. Although she was never supposed to live for long, as she was merely a synthetic weapon, she broke past her energy limitations. Her pure willpower allowed her to survive and even fight while she was knocked unconscious, surprising Ta-Thoth. Despite losing limbs and even entire organs in combat, she regarded it as 'a flesh wound' and could still fight at prime condition. In her fight against Nyarlathotep, she was utterly exhausted from all of the previous fights and anymore energy she would exert would result in death. Despite this, she was still able to think, shout, and even fight in a space that was trying to kill her through draining her stamina, among various other means. Could have possibly limitless energy thanks to being an Omikami.

Range: Extended Melee Range, at least Tens of Kilometers with her abilities (Her swords were capable of encompassing an entire nuclear blast and shrink it down) | Extended Melee Range, at least Tens of Kilometers with her abilities | Extended Melee Range, at least Interplanetary with her abilities (Was capable of stopping any shard of the destroyed Earth from landing on any other planet when it was destroyed by Ta-Thoth) | Interdimensional (Could break into Nyarlathotep's pocket reality, which exists outside of the boundaries of the universe), at least Multiversal+ with The Shining Trapezohedron

Standard Equipment:

  • Katoptris: A weapon name earned from Ancient Greek Myth, this is actually an extension of Nakano's own existence as a living Omikami. As such, it can shift and change size according to her wishes. Normally taking on the appearance of an average sword, it can even change into something like that of a scythe or knife as well. Its most famous appearance was in the fight against Nyarlathotep, where it shifted into that of a spear.
  • Optional Equipment:
    • The Shining Trapezohedron: With a name inspired by its counterpart to the Mythos version, the Shining Trapezohedron takes on the form of a sword. Originally, it was a dormant sword that looked more like a blade of glass. But after the discovery of what it truly was, Nakano used it to stab Nyarlathotep and steal the powers of the Supreme Archetype to fuel the weapon. The blade in it of itself activates when it seals away an Outer God, and can only continue to grow in greater influence with more that it absorbs. It was used to seal away Nyarlathotep and steal its power as Supreme Archetype, utterly killing the Outer God in the end before the power of the blade was used to destroy the Ultimate Void and bring the multiverse back into being.

Intelligence: Above Average (Although not as smart as the other members of the Rebels, she is still smart enough to come up with her own strategies and tactics in the midst of combat. Sometimes, she was even capable of surprising much smarter individuals, though thanks to outside influence)

Standard Tactics:

When it comes to this key, Nakano isn't all that well accomodated to her abilities. As such, this leads her to simply trying to out-punch her opponents and fight them in hand to hand combat. While some effects are active, namely her negation of regeneration and immortality, this is her most 'un-skilled' key. Sometimes she might try to fire off psychic energy blasts or accidentally activate some other abilities such as throwing a punch that ignores distance due to simply breaking space-time. But for the most part, do not expect much from her.

This key is somewhat similar to her previous key although better in combat. But in this key, she is shown to be reckless and foolhardy, often trying to activate her Presence in combat. Sometimes, it does activate, allowing for momentary distractions for her to get a good hit in. But this doesn't really do much as she hasn't fully learned how to utilize it. But she can use her other abilities as a surprise or as a distraction, seeing as how she's gotten trained by other members of the Rebels. She can also somewhat use her psychic energy, forming it into full on blades of energy, which she uses as projectiles. Her aura is also able to somewhat manifest in this key.

Consider this her "post Ta-Thoth fight" key, because she is much more skilled in this state. Having fully embraced her own pride and honor, expect her to start integrating her more ranged options in the middle of melee combat. Due to her more fully embracing herself, her aura is now in full effect. This aura has been able to scare beings like Ialgazon in the midst of combat and even unnerve Ta-Thoth for a short moment, who are both resistant against fear-inducing effects. It also has the added side-effect of simply paralyzing the opponent due to her overwhelming aura, and not just fear. If the opponent can get past all of that, then the real fight begins. In order to scope out her opponent before the full fight, she flings various projectiles at her opponent. If her opponent prefers ranged attacks, she will begin closing that gap either using vast amounts of psychic energy or her status as an Omikami to force them into melee combat against her.

Against melee opponents, then she will engage them in melee combat as well. Although not entirely skilled in pure hand to hand combat, she is still capable of pulling off some moves. This would include using things such as altering her body to form weapons on her hairs, skin, or just morphing her entire arm into a sword. She can also pull off a cheeky trick of altering the density of her boots using her Presence, striking fast by making her boots incredibly light only to slam into the opponent while they become as dense as a star. She is still relatively smart as she is known to be able to use her Alternative Observation to disorient her opponent by teleporting constantly, whether it be out of their peripheral view or within it in an instant. At the same time, she also combines it with her mastery over stealth to cloak herself from the world. This also applies to her ranged opponents so good luck trying to hit her.

But no matter what strategy she uses, her Presence will be in full effect as a passive ability. Infinite Confrontation comes in full force as it forces her opponent to be disillusioned through the infinite amount of futures yet to come. It is also completely capable of just forcing opponents to cease to exist if the need arises by enforcing that probability onto reality. But for the most part, it is used to create an infinite amount of possible 'yet to come' futures as something akin to a probability shield. In order to shatter through her defenses, one must be able to shatter those futures as well. Nakano, now fully aware of what she is capable of, can simply attack past her own defenses. So while Infinite Confrontation is active, she can simply batter her opponent until they can no longer fight. Having fought against both Ialgazon and Ta-Thoth at this point, do not expect her to enjoy dirty tactics.

Pretty much every single ability she has at her disposal is passive except for her Fissionism and Erasure. The only reason why she did use her Fissionism against Nyarlathotep was to extract Adam from them, so don't expect her to use it in any capacity against any other opponent unless they had managed to absorb Adam.

Weaknesses: As someone who is unaware of her own past, she is often insecure and questions her own abilities. She can often distance herself from others and is fearful of what might happen if she is around them. Is very emotional when it comes down to her family and loved ones, and will do anything to save them even if it means ending her own life. | As a Paradox Demon, she is no longer observed by the Outer Gods and can only exist by those who acknowledge her own existence.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Universe-2

Living Omikami: As a Living Omikami, Nakano is a weapon and her existence suits such, existing outside of the natural Bindings of the world. Transcendent over life and death, she is practically an immortal entity that is bound to the existence of all other Omikami. As a collective, the Omikami are fragments of a larger whole that exists even beyond that of the Ultimate Void, and their standings in reality are nothing more than complete avatars. But born out of sentience, Nakano takes every benefit of being an Omikami, while inheriting almost no other disadvantages. Even more, the fact that she is an Omikami is seen and recognized by both the world and the Outer Gods, and so long as she is recognized as such, she will continue to live. An absolute superhuman, she can perform feats unlike any other human, having enhanced levels of regeneration, and an infinite potential of growth. This infinite potential for growth is the most defining factor, as she has consistently used it to break past her limitations.

Quantum Pic-2

Infinite Confrontation: The Presence that manifested within Nakano, unknowingly being the last piece of Hastur's intricate puzzle to put a stop to Nyarlathotep. This Presence is, in fact, Hastur's own modified and edited to fit its new host, integrating itself to become an intrinsic and inherent part of her functions as both human and Omikami. This Presence works very similarly to Hastur's own, being capable of altering the very underlying fundamental fabric of reality that is probability. As all things have a state of probability that defines all of existence, she is capable of using this to essentially hack the fundamental layer of all things. But unlike Hastur's own use to collapse probability into favorable sequences, Nakano instead allows it to unleash probability onto reality. Originally a Defensive Presence, it altered probability to cause the least likely of occurences to happen to protect its wielder. But later in her journies and discovery of herself, Nakano was able to use it to become Offensive. She would use it to create impossible paradoxes and form the least likely of scenarios in battle. It was even capable of forming an infinite amount of possible futures that would yet to come to appear in a target's mind.

Sword Beam: Learned in the fight against Ta-Thoth, Nakano is capable of unleashing a wide arc of energy that can practically cut through anything. This arc of energy was so powerful that it cuts through the very fabric of space-time, forming portals that can even send targets to the beginning or end of time itself. In fact, this beam doesn't attack in a conventional sense, and instead it slashes or cuts through the target's position in space-time. This was only further enhanced with the use of Psychic Energy, allowing Nakano to use it to even cleave opponents away from existence itself.

Void-2
Paradox of Existence: After realizing the paradox of her own existence and how she is observed, Nakano would learn on another state of existence that would allow her to fight against Nyarlathotep. This state of existence can only be obtained by those who are two existences at once, letting go of both and asserting their own identity. As such, these entities are known as Paradox Demons, entities who not bound by the rules of existence and exist in-between that of Probability and Improbability. As they exist in-between that of Probability and Improbability, these entities are beings that generally hold no physical standing in reality. Despite this, they act as if they still have such. But thanks to the immense status she previously held as a Living Omikami, Nakano evolved and changed when she entered this new form of existence, an anomaly that never happened before. This evolution allowed her to connect to the true form of the Omikami, altering and completely breaking apart the mental Gates in order to unlock and unleash her true potential. This state of existence was something beyond even with the full power of the Silver Key. It truly was a paradoxical impossibility.

Note: Even though the Shining Trapezohedron is listed under optional equipment, it is not in-character for Nakano to use. So, unless specified, she doesn't wield it in debates.
