Summary[]
Meggy Spletzer is the tritagonist in the SMG4 series, originally from Inkopolis, she is highly competitive and wants to be the "Upcoming Star." She later becomes close friends with Mario which she was trapped in a can and sent to the Mushroom Kingdom. Currently, she resides in Belmont, Mushroom Kingdom, joining SMG4's gang. She was kidnapped in the Anime Arc, turning into mostly human almost dying and having a close friend of her Desti to die. In the Post Anime Arc, she trains to honour Desti, which she becomes a protagonist in Meggy Destiny beating there rival Team Killer Ink and winning the Splatfest to which she meets Desti to which see hugs her Ghost and says goodbye. She now hangs out with SMG4's gang.
Appearance[]
When an inkling, she has long orange tentacles, Orange ink colour, pink eyes, studio headphones, pilot goggles, short beanie, zink layered LS, and octoling boots. She is now mostly human as she was extracted by the Ink Zuccer 2000 (leaving less ink in her body), she is now a Human Girl, she has freckles and brown eyes that look Asian due to her model. Her tentacles have now become normal orange colour, Meggy retains her past clothing strangely her boots and shorts are brown (could be a mistake).
Personality[]
Meggy is portrayed as a tomboy who enjoys playing sports, activities and competing in multiple challenges. Meggy also loves taunting her opponents in battle, showing gestures, mistaking Mario for a red target, and sticks her tongue when Bowser tries to sabotage her in Mario Challenge. Unlike Mario's other friends, Meggy finds Mario's Stupidity hilarious. Meggy also has a sensitive side, shown when she lost in If Mario was in Splatoon though she gained back her confidence due to Mario. She normally likes being Smarter, skilled, and talented more than anyone else (Though it was shown in Mario School Club she no longer cares). When she loses she feels insulted by her opponent and feels defeated, she can also have a rude side, at times interrupting someone or saying something negative about them. In Meggy Bootcamp, she is extremely harsh and strict as she is desperate to win the Splatfest. After the events of the Anime Arc, she seems depressed over Desti dying as they became close, she then went insane until Mario, Luigi and Tari comforted her she then became normal though she kind of disliked being Human. She then returned to her past personality.
