“ | I wield electric fans for a reason. In order to shut the fan off and stop the fan from blowing out, every unit is sealed with polyurethane, and those two materials can help stop the fan. But how do they work during any operation as you've never heard of?
This duct tape is great for ducting things that use any type of ventilation as long as it's not going to have any leakage or air leakage. It works well for any roof insulation since the insulation is very porous, which makes it easier to absorb. Furthermore, it won't be much of an issue after a few days of use on the roof. If you don't have a roof of your own there will be no leaks, and you can put some of these duct tapes in any hole in a basement or attic. You can also make the duct tape into a duct tape pattern or even an extra-long duct tape piece (or maybe both). If you are too lazy to make any kind of duct tape pattern I can certainly recommend building these into wooden planks. In my opinion, these are all good options to try after a few days of neglect. Each of these duct tape patterns has been in the attic of a house for a couple of years now. In fact, they seem to get a lot of use. If a single one of these was in my attic I would use it to the duct for a very long time before I got a chance to cut back on the long duct tape. On the other hand, I will say that it probably doesn't help even a little... unless I am really lucky and build them, in which case I certainly can't recommend them very highly.' |

Maeleachlainn Theudobald Chlodochar, Jordán Burton Gefen Preben Simion Ælfstan Palladino Joaquim Sebastijan Désiré, Faisal Garnier Thor Ewald Janson, Hrodulf Kröger (or Maeleach in short), real name Dim Hirach Gorffennol, is a character in C∅ntext by Backbackback. She is a very quirky individual with a lot of layers of complex habits, bizarre tastes, and strange principles all to get her Grandfather's Toenail whilst using the electric fans that her foster mother gave her combined with her extremely complex Milieu to survive the harshness of Mossy Desert, a train station where people must crush their fingers and toenails as a form of ticket, making them into flags for a commercial about fiberglass which is then acts as a warming equipment to survive. This lead her into creating a loophole where it involves the sunrise, in which the train operators are illegally obliged to gossip about anything that they see, otherwise a government party known as Py'zhics (Pai · zuhks) would summon a comet that creates an armor which crushes a person from the inside out, transforming their bodies into a hawk that is then formed into a poem. These poems would then be used as an exit ticket, allowing Maeleach to escape and find the toenail, rumored to be a way to bypass Py'zhics complex system. Consequentially, she received enough poems to form multiple tickets, in the case that one were to fail.
However, exiting the station and the security system lead to more problems. Enemies with bizarre powers, monsters with unorthodox ways of beating an enemy, all to get the last remnant of her past. Renowned as "The Culprit", she became a lost wanderer who is in a constant internal struggle between finding her self and obtaining the precious Toenail. Following the pursuit of the Py'zhics, Maeleach embarks on long journey of genocide, slowly becoming stale and pointless. Acquiring the Toenail made her realize the lengths that she went through and the questionable methods she performed. Devoid of any hope, she goes through an eternal struggle to find herself amongst the ocean of strangers, wandering far into the abyss of misery in a desperate but meaningless search for her purpose.
Appearance[]
Maeleach is a 19-year-old woman of above-average height and a slim build. She appears to have shoulder-length, braided hair, with loose whirls in some parts. She has Hemianopia, her left eye being completely blind. She has a very defined face: her right eye has some sort of graffiti right above her cheek, and her left eye is covered with a mechanical eye patch with locks and some sort of functional contraption that allows her left eye to see again.
Maeleach usually wears a mask, as means to hide her identity, such as a plague doctor's mask with a gap on the right side, exposing her right eye. She also wears a wide brimmed white fedora, vertically-striped gray sleeves, a white suit, gloves with a net pattern, slim black trousers, and black boots. Her haircut is slightly different, now being completely braided. She also has multiple cross-designed earrings on each part of her ears.
Revealing her face, she changes her outfit entirely. It consists of a dark blouse, a black skirt, thigh-high stockings, and the same black boots. She now reveals the mechanical eye patch in this state, strapped around her head with the exclusion of her gloves as well, exposing her soft fingers. She also wears a long circular earring with a red gem hanging from below, as well as showing the graffiti design on some parts of her face.
When using her 'disguise' at Warm Tundra, she is shown wearing glasses with her hair tied to a bun and the stitches in her eye and her mouth clearly shown. The eyepatch in her left eye is removed and wears a shite shirt, grey pajamas, and green sandals.
After her fight against Py'zhics, her legs are replaced with prosthetic ones made of metal hydraulics. The mechanism on her left eye are still the same, but are now modified to be much more comfortable to wear. Her left side is now covered with layers upon layers of protective armor made of fiberglass and wax melted into her skin.
At the end of series, she now appears to be more matured, wearing a suit and removing her eyepatch. Her eyes now appear to be a dark blue. The design on her face is covered with makeup but could be revealed if she wanted to.

Birth[]
Maeleach's mother never had a partner, but worked as an Obstetrician, thus having experience in handling an infant. However, she participated in an experiment about creating artificial babies. As a result, she, being injected with a sperm cell directly into her ovaries, develops a fetus, but suffers major contractions, crippling her due to the weight of the fetus. In a last-ditch effort, as she went home from a train station, she decides to give birth to Maeleach in a bathroom. Unfortunately, she died out of suffocation, not being able to breathe as she pushed her out. In her dying words, she gave the infant to a random bystander and told her about the Grandfather's Toenail, a relic that remains as a symbol and a reminder of their lineage.
Introduction[]
Born as an orphan, Maeleach did not know her parents. She was raised by a woman near a train station called Mossy Desert. She was given a stupidly long name and ended up having to call her Maeleach. The reason behind this, was due to her foster mother having a stroke as she gave her last and most important possession, an electric fan. This fan was her mother's most expensive item that she could humanely buy and acts as her remembrance for raising her.The train station she was born into had several rules. Laws that would cost one's life if one were to break them:
- To get a ticket, one must cut his/her own nails. These nails would then be formed as flags, acting as their ticket.
- In the sunrise, train operators are obliged to gossip, otherwise, they'd be sentenced to death by an armor that would crush them inside out. The corpses would then be incinerated and would be created into a poem, a poem containing their exact death, as well as all details before their death.
- The poems are a one-off exit pass that could be used to exit the train and be led to another neighboring station. These must be handed to train operators or relatives and must not be stolen.
- Payment is through nails and/or toenails. This payment only applies to the station's jurisdiction and is considered to be counterfeit amongst other stations.
After Maeleach learned the rules given of the Mossy Desert, and the existence of her Grandfather's Toenail, a toenail that is made from gold was told by her doctor before she was adopted.
Determined to steal the fruit, she began planning a way to steal at least a dozen to replicate them and get as many poems as she wanted. This would be her exit ticket at getting out of all stations and replicating them, but replacing each poem with a different name, so it would be unnoticeable. This, in turn, awakened her Milieu, named Dan Dari, with the ability to manipulate the temperature of a room but requires multiple sets of rules to activate, representing her complex and weird nature.
The first poem she had stolen was from a confrontation against Hisui-kyū, who managed to learn about her paraphernalia in an attempt at stealing the poems and confiscated the poem she stole from some ill-starred train operator. As Maeleach attempts to stop Hisui by luring him into a room, but he uses his "Holder Aprons" to lock Maeleach's arms and legs. Hisui reveals that he's aware of her plan to steal and replicate the poems to get out of the station, which is a violation of the rules. He informs her that Hisui and other Py'zhics members have searched for any attempts at leaving the station, telling her that she wasn't the first to ever leave. Hisui proceeds to interrogate and torture Maeleach by putting her body near the train tracks, trying to gain information as to what motives had led her into doing such a thing. He then states that the reason why they keep people in the station is so that they have a home to stay in, reasoning with her by asking if she wasn't satisfied with what she has and goes as far as to relieve herself by getting out of the station just to fulfill some selfish urge. Before the train had arrived to crush Maeleach's body, she manages to free herself by scraping off pieces of the clippers attached to her body, allowing her to escape.
Thinking that she seemingly outran the awkward man, she quietly snuck into her room, waiting for Hisui to step into her trap.
Catching up to Maeleach, she then confronts Hisui once more, demanding that he should leave her alone and mind his own business. As she prepares to fulfill the complex set of rules with her Milieu, he managed to lock one of her legs, rushing her with his clippers to lock her throat; preparing to kill Maeleach until she parries his attack with an electric fan. She then begins to impale him using the multiple metal blades spinning, all while trying to activate her ability by stalling him with her fan.
Hisui, now stuck inside a room hurries to the exit. He deduces Mealeach's ability while trying to hold the blades. Hisui hopes Maeleach will attempt to attack head-on and in the process, get in contact with the clippers. However, the rules of the ability have already been fulfilled, allowing Maeleach to let go of her fan and use Dan Dari to increase the room temperature and burn Hisui to a crisp. As this happens, she began ranting about electric fans as she slowly grabbed it and approaches Hisui like a murderer finishing off their prey.
The attack leaves him fatally wounded, with Maeleach swiftly slicing Hisui's head; killing him as his body melts into a puddle. After the fight, she noted that his grip was too strong and could throw her off the room if she hadn't let go, only grabbing it once he was fatally injured, allowing her to be victorious in the confrontation.

As the ashes of what once was Hisui is about to fade away, Maeleach places a fortune cookie at the place where he died.
With the first member of the Py'zhics dead, she attempts to hide the body and incinerate it inside the room, leaving no evidence behind. Whilst burning the corpse, she stole Hisui's Holder Aprons and thought that it would be useful in her next confrontations.
The absence of Hisui brought major panic among train operators and thus began a more thorough search regarding his absence. Missing posters were taped over each corner, all in the hopes of finding the culprit. Knowing this, Maeleach became nervous about her plans of escaping, but she got the poem that she wanted.
Net of Fate[]
Following the trail of the search and a heist for a second poem, she visits the notice board that the search had originated from, and from there, she was able to find the rumors about her Grandfather's toenail and the organization known as Py'zhics.Hungry, Maeleach decides to go to a nearby shop at the station.
However, she also found a large group of people whom she assumed were the search party. Maeleach tried to buy food like a normal and unsuspecting citizen, glaring at the shelves to avoid suspicion. Assuming that they haven't found what said culprit looked like, she lessens her stress and went on with her way.
As the search party continued their daily routine, she began planning on exploiting the "sunrise rule", at which she would use Holder Aprons to shut one's mouth, follow the corpse of the body, and establish a base of operation of stealing poems. After some thinking, she dozed off.
The next morning, she begins applying her plan into action as she waits on a bench where a train is supposed to stop. She first sees two men walk out of the door, she questions if they are dressed as train operators, or are simply pretending to catch the culprit off-guard. When the men asked a couple of bystanders to look after the culprit. She remained quiet and acted like she was sick, occasionally coughing out as a form of alibi. She was then approached by the men, introducing themselves as Noto and Shed, asking her why does she have a mask and wear covered clothing. Maeleach responded that she was sick, having a severe skin disorder, and faking a good cough just to prove it.
However, the men weren't gonna fall for her tricks and told her that she should be interrogated as some saw her going back to a place where Hisui is presumed to be dead. Maeleach uses Holder Apron to lock them in place and knock them out quickly before the bystanders notice. At the realization that she appears to be a likely candidate for the culprit, they decided to prioritize her as their target, more fixated on discovering the motivation and the intent of the strange and quirky woman.
Noto acts as a distraction while Shed grabs Maeleach from behind and uses his ability to set up a tennis game, proceeding to hit her with a barrage of tennis balls, but limiting the movement they have due to the clippers.
She uses her fan to cut the net only to realize that she is cutting herself, deflecting the attack she gave at the net. Maeleach is then hit by their tennis balls, leaving her vulnerable to a follow-up attack that breaks a piece of her mask, slowly revealing her face. Deducing that their power increases pain on a subsequent level, Maeleach decides to flee and recover, but the two give chase, refusing to let her escape. Running into a crowd of people, she uses Holder Aprons to lock their arms and act as a meat shield, hoping that they wouldn't hurt innocent bystanders. However, one of them, specifically Noto, managed to throw a ball at her legs, cracking the femur and causing her to scream in pain. Having nowhere to run, she decides to directly fight them and tricks the two into attacking her directly and locks their body down with her clippers, the armors arriving and crushing them inside-out.
This now gives her 3 poems in total.
Follow of the Iron Maiden[]
Pickpocketing both Noto and Shed, Maeleach finds shredded pieces of where the Py'zhics are, and follows the armor's destination. The path it took is a lot faster, so Maeleach has to leave some of her equipment behind, bringing her thermostat and other necessary equipment.On the way to the next Station, Dry Oasis, she changes her appearance, stuck some explosives in her room in the case one where to suspect them, and board the train to track down the armor. Looking at the wonderful view, she reminisces about her mother's last words, saying that her Grandfather's Toenail is the only past that she has. Although she was dubious by it's ridiculousness despite knowing she herself is a daughter made from extremely absurd circumstances.She desires to be completed and wants nothing more than be herself, determined to achieve her goals no matter what it takes.
Nails of Glass[]
As she is about to leave the train, she is asked to show her ticket. She instead shows a poem, allowing her to exit the train station and follow the armor. She then asks a bystander about what the place is, with them guiding her to a newspaper stand to somewhat explain what the place is. What they did is plunge one of their hands in a ticket making machine, and melts them to form a ticket. Upon obtaining said ticket, they then placed it over another contraption which creates a glass card.This puzzles Maeleach, who is utterly confused and desperate wants to know what they did. They explained that these glass cards are a part of the rules of Dry Oasis, which are of the following:- Glass Cards are a form of payment, but is considered counterfeit amongst other nations.
- Poems are now VIP tickets to any of the services available at the station.
- Flags are used as an I.D. which verifies someone of their residency on Dry Oasis.
They then tell her about the infamous culprit, to which she brushes off, saying she knows nothing of this mysterious individual. At this moment, she thinks to herself as to how will she be remembered and how will people treat her if she dies.
Seeds of Garlic, Squeeze of the Cookie[]
The next day, Maeleach went to a snacks stand and bought fortune cookies. She ordered a pack of them, sat in a chair, opened it up, and began eating. As she opened them one by one, she kept getting the phrase "Find yourself" and only stops after a few cookies. She asks herself what these mean to her, and doesn't get any answers, or even really what to do with the question. "What am I? What am I supposed to do? Who am I?" she ponders. In this desperate journey to find herself, she is left all alone. She never really wanted any friends, nor did she ever desire one. "It's a question that always bothers me. What really am I?" she said, looking at her palm and holding the eyepatch where her left eye is, but isn't.
Though Maeleach did not choose this path herself, there's no doubt that this is her life. This is her reality and one she's fine with. As she took one last bite of her fortune cookie, she said, "It seems like that Toenail is the remaining thing I have".
What makes Maeleach special is not that she struggles to find who she is, but the fact that she is still happy with who she is and exactly where she is. That she is still herself and has no plans of changing that anytime soon. She's exactly who she was always meant to be. That's something everyone should strive for, despite the turmoil and trouble it may take to find it.
Maeleach finds strength in her outlook and in the fact that she's just an ordinary girl trying to figure out what she's supposed to do. She never wanted to be famous or in the spotlight, all she wants is to find who she truly is. The purpose of how she came into this bizarre world, knowing nothing of where or when she came from. A place to belong, exist and live.
She doesn't know what her reason for fighting is, nor does she have a "why" to bear the "how" she receives. All she does is for herself, and whatever consequences she befalls is up to her and not anyone else. She alone is the only one who can solve her mystery. She's a survivor, a soldier in a lonely war that she started herself. She is herself, and nothing can change that.
To find the truth, to seek what is there, and to try and find the answer. To forge a path that only they could cross. To grow into a stronger person, a stronger individual.
To become yourself.
Burning Wax[]
Trailed by the search party, who now knows her face, started giving out sketches of her face to bystanders; asking if they encountered the culprit shown in the picture, to which some responded and admitted having seen her, with two important key points to remember: First, she wears a mask to hide her face, but argues that if she took it off, she could be mistaken for another person; and second, is that she has an eye patch on her left eye, which now contradicts the first rebuttal as she can be easily recognized.
One of the members says that they assumed Maeleach was here, due to the factors involving her imminent arrival at Dry Oasis. Learning about Maeleach's record in stealing poems, the party decides to eliminate her, revealing their identity as the Candle Bougies, a group of people made from candles by Py'zhics as an alternative source of fuel and heat. Created with sentience, they obeyed without question and followed the directive given to them, with a simple task of managing the trains and ensuring that it functions without any issue. Knowing about the culprit trying to escape, they started sending in train operators to turn them in, which resulted in them dying and caused massive panic towards the people of all neighboring stations, worried that they too will be caught up in the chaos.
To prevent this, they took matters into their own hands, warning the citizens to evacuate whilst using their power to plug the entrances and exits in an attempt to draw her out and capture her. Hearing the loud taunts, Maeleach dashes inside the train tracks, knowing that they'd plug up the wall as they know they don't want her to escape.They began sneakily searching for her without making a sound, whilst Maeleach does the same.Once they both run into one another, a moment of silence passes before she uses her clippers to trap them in place while the latter uses their wax to do the same thing. As Maeleach evaded some wax, some of it got on her right side, which was injured by the tennis ball. She begins groaning in pain and became a lot slower because of it. Writhing in agony, they reveal that they're a member of Py'zhics scouting out and managing train stations, and asking if any of this struggle would help her achieve her goals. Maeleach, in a last-ditch attempt, chops some parts of her arm and sides that are stuck with he wax, which she then clips together, successfully freeing her as she fled the battle. The Candles didn't bother trying to chase after her, knowing they'd fall into traps Maeleach had placed before.
Running back to the previous station, she had already ran out breath and uses the remains of her stamina to make a final dash to her hidey-hole. Arriving there felt like a fever dream, it was all.. fuzzy. Maeleach can feel as though she was going to puke, her body feels like it's about to fall off; a face of dread, crawling slowly as she bandages herself and applies first aid whilst biting down on a towel to muffle her painful screams.
Losing consciousness, she keeled over to the floor and fell asleep.
On the other hand, the Candles began searching as they attempt to disarm any traps she placed by sealing them and activating the trap to defuse them. This happened to for the next hour until they resorted to coming back to Mossy Desert to check if she ran back to her base.
In the next day, she woke up in a cold sweat knowing that the enemy may be right on her tail. As she panics, she hurriedly packed and repaired her equipment as she began examining the wax and tried using the asbestos formed from at the walls and implementing them to her clothing to resist the melted wax as the melting point of Asbestos is 1.600 degrees Fahrenheit.
As she peeks from the entrance of her hiding spot, she sees the Candles searching the place right beside her. Nervous, she tries to calm herself down, and braces for their attack as she brings all her equipment.
She could hear the footsteps as if it was louder...
She could even hear her breath as she sweats profusely...
The eeriness gives chills down her spine...
She stayed in the corner for a while longer waiting for an eye to peer through the door...
Nothing.
This went on for about 30 minutes with her continuing to freaked out....
Then after awhile she realized that she cannot get away from that sound if she is going to stay in there...
Not until the sounds stopped...
Silence fills in the room before a loud bang.
Before she knew it, her reflexes kicked in and exited the room, jumping out as she feels the adrenaline kick in. She was met by a speeding train but is fast enough to make a quick leap backward and into a flip, attacking one member of the Candles as they try to spray their melted wax all over her to hopefully trap her.
When this fails, the Candles resorts to shooting wax at spots where they predict Maeleach would go, making it extremely difficult for her to maneuver around their attacks having only recovered a while back. They follow her using their wax's slippery properties to follow her. She lays one of her explosive traps among the walls and proceeds to hide so that when they approach she can catch them by surprise digging a tiny hole and placing her makeshift trapdoor onto the tiles to blend with her surroundings. This ambush culminates in her using Holder Aprons a second time; in order to lure them in a secluded area that she knows and engage in a final ploy by locking dozens of clippers containers to them, hoping that they would be rendered immobile and the explosion would injure them and throw them into the train.
The Candles' response is to encase Maeleach in a dome of wax, intending to throw her off and drop her into the train tracks but Maeleach is fast enough to lock several joints and set herself free, thinking she had thwarted their ploy. In reality, they were merely positioning Maeleach closer to the tracks so that the train would crush her body.
In the end, Maeleach used her clippers to stop the train in an attempt to force herself out of this predicament, preventing them both from escaping. The Candles then began encasing her in another dome of wax, with the assurance that she'll die once the clippers set off, and she'll slowly melt if she doesn't let go. However, the unexpected happens when Maeleach uses her electric fan to escape and uses the motor from the inside; lodging it deep onto one of the Candles, causing one to explode; completely locking them in place with clippers, pushing them off the train and killing them.
As the fight ended, she began to tire out, somewhat off by the adrenaline fading out as she began to feel the previous wounds from her encounters: broken bones, ribs, melted flesh, cuts, and bruises all felt like they were going to kill her, but she remained alive. After the train had ran them over, she then examine the remains of each Candles and manage to use their membranes to craft into another weapon.
Knowing her identity is already out, she has no choice but to hide her face in total secrecy and began her way into Warm Tundra, the third station.
Escape to Somewhere[]
In the midst of her escape, she is surrounded by a swarm of Armors. She figured that Py'zhics would send some reinforcements, but knowing her fatigued state, she is nowhere at the level of beating them, not unless they come into her room or have enough time to craft a weapon.She has nowhere to run, nowhere she can hide. She is all by herself in this fight.
No one to ever save her from this predicament.

In an arduous and heartbreaking battle, she ponders what her purpose is in this place. She wonders if anyone would even remember her if she'd died. She asks herself if fighting is even worth living. She doesn't know herself either.
All she knows is that she must get that "thing", and until then she'll continue fighting. It's the only thing that remains of her past. A piece to somewhat fill the hole inside her heart.
A hollow shell.
A soul with no direction.
A person with no goal. Born without any purpose, identity, drive, or even motivation.
She is all alone. Alone by herself with no one to be there for her.
No one to comfort her.
No one to give her love and happiness.
She swung her bladed fan with no anger, hate, resent, or any kind of animosity. She selflessly swung it around, slicing one armor after the other, but after realizing that she cannot remain on the defensive for long, she began using her clippers to stick them together. While she is fighting for her life, other armors began biting off pieces of her flesh, staring from the feet all the way to her head.
After a while, she is cornered by about 1000 armors, and having little to no strength left, she tries a last ditch effort to her room while sticking explosives at her shirt and removing them to escape. Unfortunately, the armors survive, taking the full blunt of the explosion but receiving little to no damage at all. The now cornered Maeleach tries to crawl to her room as the armors eat her, with her fingers barely reaching the entrance but is enough to activate Dan Dari and increase the room temperature enough to burn the armors off her.
She has no strength remaining, with her shedding a tear as she falls unconscious.
Who Speaks: Path of the Train[]
Waking up, she felt sluggish; like her legs are planted to the ground with no sign of moving at all, but nonetheless she forced herself to get up, knowing that there might be another enemy nearby.
Making her way into the once populated place of Mossy Desert and Dry Oasis, it made her feel more emptier. The hole inside her heart gets shallower each step she took. She could feel herself fading, with each step tearing her soul apart, but continued regardless. That thing is the only important thing to her and nothing more.
But the closer she gets...
The more it feels worthless in the end...
Like it never mattered to her...
As if it never had any use but a temporary glimpse at herself, only for it to fade like dust.
At this time, her identity is known throughout everywhere. The name of the culprit spread on media, showing her mask to the public as a sign of evil.

Who Speaks: Warm Tundra[]
Setting a goal to Warm Tundra, she began packing her equipment and began assuming a new identity. removing her mask as to not be suspicious of being the culprit.
After this, she took the train to Warm Tundra, where she used her nail ticket instead of a poem. Maeleach understands that the attacks weren't random, but a security protocol to prevent any residents from leaving. It was a mystery to her for what this protection mean, but it has something todo with the outside world. Is it the laws of space breaking at the seems? Or is it some unknown entity ruling over their reality? She didn't bother looking any further down the rabbit hole, all she yearns for is to obtain the last fragment left of her past; nothing more.A while after, the conductor of the train announces about the existence of the culprit, prompting the passengers to be aware of the current conundrum, as well as introduce the unknown threat to those who are somehow unaware, akin to that of a child reminding their grandparents for their gifts. Arriving at the new station, Maeleach is shown several rings moving slowly through the surface, proving that a new enemy is stalking her. The conductor then formally presents the passengers, including herself, of the safety precautions that they took. Maeleach tries to keep her composure and went on with the protocol; although nervous at first, she doesn't reveal anything suspicious for the public to see, and went through with almost no problem at all.She was astonished at the size of the station spanning for about 900,000 square miles, bigger than Mossy Dessert which is 300,000 square miles and Dry Oasis which is only 500,000 square meters.
Being hungry, she first bought some food to eat, preferably fried rice with some meat. Away from any trouble and thus temporarily safe, she order a doner kebab on rice, who then savors the meal. As she listens to red herrings about the identity of the culprit, she realizes that the enemy may be another member of the Py'zhics.
The discussion is interrupted when the train tracks sneaks near the food stand. When it brandishes and threw it's rings at Maeleach, she ducks under and ran with the crowd. She then see a swarm of protractors and set squares from the walls, which attacks Maeleach directly, but manages to lock the rings in place, preventing their ability to activate.She then encases them in wax them explode, shattering the tracks. Maeleach then moves the chair forward to get near the tracks and finish them off, but knowing she might be assumed to be the culprit, she dashes off to a secluded place and plant explosives to each wall. Initially scared that her identity would be found out, Maeleach regains her composure and began planning on how to stop them.The enemy appears, and Maeleach uses the tiles on the floor and the wax to make a makeshift room for her Milieu to activate, but several thrown rulers tear right through. She manages to sneak past their attack while hiding from the crowd as to not raise any implications that she is the culprit. Maeleach assumes that the enemy is hidden, pretending to hide from the wall and the train tracks. Not until she realize that they are two different beings chasing after her: Sentient Train Tracks and The Walls.Separated from the crowd, The Walls begins its attack Maeleach and cracks open the underground sewage system that causes her to fall down her room, being heavily injured. However, she's managed to grab a fire extinguisher alongside her thermometer, which she uses to make the extinguisher explode and give her time to escape their pincer attack.
Afterwards, she began constructing a large platform made of wax for her to stand on and get back to the surface. As she tries to leave and go somewhere safe, The Train Tracks were in front of her, waiting. Thus, she sends herself down the sewers to investigate and find any exit.
Maeleach becomes worried over the increasing difficulty of escaping this place, scared that she might be spotted during her fight and must hold back to reduce casualties. She decides on killing the Wall first, choosing the best way to get rid of whatever is preventing her from reaching her goal. As she monologues about her plan, Train Tracks attacks Maeleach with a black ring and one of it's tipped rails to stab her. Maeleach hides within the wax platform, serving as a shield. However, it managed to maneuver the pointed object using their power named Ebbinghaus Delboeuf to increase the size of the sharpened rail and stab her stomach before she could escape through the wax platform.
As Train Tracks chases Maeleach under the sewers, The Walls secretly sends in a couple protractors and waits in ambush for Maeleach to go above.
In the meantime, Maeleach is running for life as multiple rings are preventing her exit as it each path she is about to take shrinks down. She discerns that the rings get bigger as the size of anything it comes in contact with gets smaller and begins to change her priorities, but overthinks it as she double-guess herself thinking that The Wall's protractors cannot enter the sewage, knowing that if the Train Tracks expands a specific area for The Walls to attack, it would lead to her escape which is a thing they cannot let happen.
With that knowledge in mind, she continued dashing and runs toward the a nearby pipe, hoping it would be enough cause a large explosion to destroy them and, in turn, absorb their Milieu. As she attaches the explosive onto the pipe, she realized that the protractors have already cornered her, going for another pincer attack and thus exploded directly in front of her, causing her to be launched up to the ground.
She was then caught off guard The Walls, being crushed as they begin to converge. It sends it's protractors and extended them with its rulers, with the intention of stabbing her in all angles. While this happens, Maeleach began surrounding herself with clippers and states about the science of pressure as she isn't hurt nor is crushed thanks to the protractors being locked in place thanks to her Holder Aprons, saying that the angles at which they deflect an attack depends on the area they are in, otherwise it would be undefeatable.After this. she creates another wax room and goes for the offensive, hiding in the room as she does so. Maeleach laments that their purpose of fighting is just the same as hers, stating that she has no goal of her own, other than to find the Toenail. She praises the two inanimates for having people around them but condemns herself, stating that she never had any friends nor did she ever desired to have one. At the same time she is saying her grief, Maeleach deduces that they are going for another pincer attack and plans to spread the wax room to affect both of them.As the Train Tracks unearths above the sewers, she coats the wax room with explosives and wrings the petroleum contained in the candles and spread it around the outside of the room, with her placing the ventilations and attaching the equipment needed to activate Dan Dari's ability.
On the other hand, the residents became panic-stricken as they hastily ran far away from the fight and into a safe bunker, scared that they may be affected by the culprit and the inanimates. The conductor being able to run away, tries to look for the girl with the glasses and a weird face as they ask around where she could be.....
As the two began barreling towards Maeleach, the petroleum covers a large portion of the station as she saw the people running through some safe bunker and deduces that she needed to buy time to destroy both the tracks and the walls. She then deduces that the energy they released are enough to destroy large chunks into the station, but not fully level the station to bits.

After some time, she got out of the wax coffin and confirms that she is safe, preparing herself in case that the inanimates are alive after the attack. Approaching the giant crater she made, Maeleach doesn't notice the residents leaving after they exit the bunker and seeing the massive cavity that had destroyed the station, picking up the protractors and the rails as she gains their Milieu and placing two fortune cookies at the crater.
Trackless Path[]
Learning about the location of the Py'zhics and it being in the next station which is secluded and secured, Maeleach began working her way to infiltrate the facility.As she walks, she sees the facility looming over the once built Warm Tundra station and begun questioning her goals about getting the Toenail.In truth, she never had a goal, but forces her body, mind, and soul to keep going in a desperate attempt to find herself. To her, this was the chance she is given, an opportunity to move out of the dark; to see the light she never saw all her life.
Arriving at the Py'zhics facility, she was confused of not having any threat awaiting her arrival, deducing that they have expected her and knew that she would come here. Looking outside, there seems to be no one but her. It was big, bigger than the Warm Tundra, big enough to be a planet on its own. Going into one of the rooms to investigate, Maeleach sees a gigantic factory of fiberglass and decides to deduce what their purpose could be.
She begins her attempts to decipher the mechanism and how it works, until she is spotted by a researcher working at the lab, asking her why she isn't wearing her uniform. She responded with a shy tone, acting like one of them, that she is new here and proceeds to wear a nearby uniform, telling the researcher that she forgot to put it on.
After a few small talks, the researcher starts to become suspicious and begins to questions if she is the infamous culprit that everyone was talking about. They asked if she is the one they assumed to be, and she responded with a clear yes. Terrified, they asked why are they doing this, questioning the massacre she went just to achieve some petty goal. She says:Hearing the words of a lonely woman looking for her identity, the researcher broke themselves, realizing that they have been the evil ones to kill the culprit, not understanding her desperation to look for her identity. He kneeled down, both terrified and unable to move, a simple yes enough to bring a grown adult to their feet.
"Why?" That, too, is the question I ask myself as well. And the answer I came up with was... I don't know. I never understood why I was doing this, nor did I bother wanting to. I never knew what I was doing until someone asked me. Back then, all I knew was that the only one ever to complete me is that thing. None of the objects I saw could ever fill this emptiness in me. But ever since then, I have to ask myself, "Does it truly matter? Does getting this thing would truly fill that emptiness?" Up until now, I never found an answer to that question. I only kill because of self-defense; I never take joy in partaking in these events, nor did I desire to... All I want is myself, nothing more.—Maeleach's Grief
But despite all that, they told her that comparing the number of the lives she has killed does not justify her desire. This lead the researcher to call all personnel in Py'zhics and contacts the Poets of The Hawk, which she assumed to be the directors of the facility, to participate in the upcoming confrontation.
The facility's security lockdown commences, with red light blaring throughout as the final fight commences. Surrounded by the army called "Advertisers", Maeleach tries running away, as she is obviously outnumbered. Unfortunately for her, glass barriers started appearing out of nowhere, with sharp nails growing out of them as they stab every part of her body. Maeleach tries covering the other side with wax, melts the wall with Dan Dari and tries to flee despite the suffering from massive blood loss.
The Advertisers pursues her and launches a volley of sharp glass shards. After being shot at the knee, Maeleach nonetheless sees a room nearby and hopes that she would activate Dan Dari and melt all of them in an instant.
However, Maeleach begin to feel the effects of their power, dubbed the "Cartesian Diver". Maeleach uses Burning Wax's power to create two wax platforms acting as protective fields against the increasing density. Unfortunately, doing do results in a dramatic increase in the density. As she is being crushed from the wax, she disengages her ability and used the newfound power she had dubbed "Thales's Theorem", using the protractors to atleast minimize the damage she took and attempts to flee to other room.
The Advertisers continues their attack on the culprit with the Cartesian Diver until she is unable to even lift a finger. Maeleach starts sprinting to the room when she is suddenly encased in a giant glass bottle, trapping her. They begin to fill said bottle with water as the second ability of Cartesian Diver activates, slowly using the buoyancy in her body to slowly crush her from the inside in conjunction with the increasing density of the water, slowly crushing her from the outside. Her left side beginning to bleed internally as she feels numb, but came up with a last-ditch plan as she desperately uses her Milieu.
Assuming that the culprit would be killed by the two forces, Maeleach was able to successfully utilize both Holder Aprons and Burning Wax in order to assemble a makeshift self-starting siphon, which sucks out the water and in turn, allow her to be freed from the buoyancy acting up inside her body. She explains that the use of her clippers stopped the inflation as the vital parts of her body and focusing it on her stomach, which she knows can expand. After that, she also used the wax with the little time she had in order to create a self-starting siphon, using Thales's Theorem to manipulate the angles and use Ebbinghaus Delboeuf to increase the size and minimize the inflation in that fashion.
Eventually, the siphon would also act as a ventilation, allowing her to use the full set up of Dan Dari, attaching her small tetrahedral speakers to a specific angle thanks to Thales and melting the bottle itself, allowing her to escape whilst simultaneously grabbing back the speakers and the other other equipment in quick succession.The Advertisers retaliates by attacking her with a volley of fiberglass once more. However, the wax she left out still remained and wasn't absorbed from her Milieu, as Maeleach left it out on the floor for the sole purpose of letting all the Advertisers to enter past it, creating a successful trap. She then began growing back the wax she previously planted on the floor and began making two walls to enclose them all in and shooting the reinforced windows with melted wax, which acted as ventilators, attaching the speakers once more and activating Dan Dari's ability. Maeleach is able to win against all of them by trapping them inside of the makeshift room and increasing the temperature to melt them, killing atleast over a hundred million advertisers in the process and getting a massive power-up because of the amount of Milieu absorbed.
As I said, I've already won. The fact that you entered this area- thinking you've cornered me led to your biggest mistake. Look again; it wasn't just a puddle of wax I place to make my escape.I made the wax puddle into a wall and made it big enough to enclose the other side.
You just took that bait by going inside this particular area, not knowing I've already gone a step ahead.
My Dan Dari can increase the temperature of a room.

Poets of The Hawk[]
After the battle, Maeleach disengages her ability, going back to the manufacturing site to find any recyclables that could be used as upgrades for the upcoming fight. Arriving at the site, Maeleach gets spotted with a CCTV camera as she passes by some contraptions. She started using the hydraulics found in the unused equipment and began attaching some of her wax to create an automatic and portable room, filled with the trapdoors acting as ventilation and as a coffin to seal her opponent in whilst following the rules of her Milieu. After that, she began attaching some protractors and rulers to guide at which angle the portable room would be, with the inclusion of a ring to increase its size and the new Milieu she obtained to fill the room with water and reinforce it with fiberglass, showing her creativity and ingenuity at using her ability.However, the massive loss in blood left her motionless for a while, before continuing to work on some upgrades despite her minimizing the damage, deducing that the enemy had already arrived.
Finishing her upgrades, she decides to sense out the enemy and figure out where they'd attack. Finding that there's no enemies in sight, Maeleach tries to look for a map and find the most probable place to ambush.
She spent some time searching for the facility map while at the same time, upgrading her equipment, such as attaching some hydraulics on her left side- which was bleeding so much that she left a trail of red. Although excruciatingly painful, she managed to use her left side again, utilizing the leftover hydraulic as a brace, allowing her to move her arm once again. She also did this with her knee, allowing her to walk better than before.
As she skims through each facility, she found the map and began reading articles she obtained within each room. In one of the articles, there was something written about the use of fiberglass as an alternative fuel and heating equipment for train stations, it states:

This article discusses the use of fiberglass as an alternative source of fuel, as well as a form of heating equipment. Statistical analysis of its effectiveness and multiple experiments on its versatility is performed. Previous heating equipment and other commercially used fuel are compared. Observations to detect signs of any foreign celestial body are discussed.
Maeleach started skimming through the articles to find the reason for the production of fiberglass. As she was reading this, she began planting traps, explosives, speakers, and vents; which in turn, activated all the rules of Dan Dari and made it into a giant room for her to burn any enemy in such a scenario that they would run away or attempt to escape the facility.
Introduction
In 10⁶³ years, the age of black holes has begun to form, with our existence relying on heat to survive the cold and freezing climate.
Recently, a catastrophic decrease in temperature is observed, as well as an increase in spatial anomalies associated with black holes.
Reading the last article, she nonetheless continues her journey, knowing that from this point on she would face one last obstacle in front of her goal. She ponders at this moment if all the people she had unintentionally killed are worth their sacrifices, and if the things she had destroyed would be enough of a payment to resolve all the things she had done.
The reason that prompted the writing of this article is the decreasing temperature of the station that we found earlier and the increased growth in the population of residents in comparison to previous eras and the manufacture of fiberglass used as an alternative fuel and/or heating equipment, as well as the increase of demand from the residents has spiked over approximately 30% ever since 10³⁰ years. This article is a continuation of our work on experimenting with the use of fiberglass as an effective alternative to fuel, where we previously discovered the massive decrease in temperature. The recently declined impetus for the present work was the recent issue of an individual attempting to "leave", with no confirmation of their existence as of late.
Looking at the palm of her hand, she is reminded of her foster mother raising her up as she hazily remember her face and the bright shining light as the LEDs of the facility shun upon her bloodied face and her mangled body, sprinting ever so slightly as she limps over once of the last laboratory. Although the enemies are nowhere to be seen upon entering, Maeleach is certain that this is some trap, waiting for her to take the bait. She thus began preparing her gear and deploy it the moment the enemy appears.
As she enters further into the room, contraptions in the room suddenly began appearing out of thin air towards her, signaling an enemy is present.
Maeleach's left side eventually gets burnt as her body forcibly ran into an incinerator in the room, using Thales to reflect the attack with the flame suspiciously disappearing. The chase comes to a crescendo when she falls off the same dame she had opened but manages to use Burning Wax to make a rope she could hold herself to and prevent her certain death. Then, the same incinerator began moving towards Maeleach as it falls and begins burning the wax and makes its way towards her body. Maeleach threw protractors at the incinerator to knock it away as she began using the rulers she gets knocked upwards to escape the hole, sprinting her hardest to find where the enemy is.
To hide from the unknown attacker, Maeleach began encasing herself in a wax coffin, formulating a plan as she bandages herself. She theorizes that the Milieu is attacking her by magnifying the things around to knock into her. Moreover, she deduces that there are two enemies instead of one, since a large hole just appeared inside the facility, but is unsure about the ability. After coming out of her coffin, the same hole reappears only to disappear again when Maeleach decides to attack it. As she carefully treads the area to try and observe the ability, Maeleach discovers its horrifying ability as her body began to twist on itself, forcing her to use Thales and Aprons to keep her body together.
Fish Hook[]
Seeing herself in a sorry state, she started revising her plans. Instead of chasing the enemies herself, Maeleach began using Burning Wax to create a clone of an Advertiser, used the fiberglass to act as props, used her protractors to make it move, snatches a CCTV at one of the facilities, and attaches an explosive with a ring on it. That way, she expects the fake Advertiser to act as a decoy, thinking they have "killed" her and have them come to the room she resides in. If that fails, then she detonates the bomb and explodes the whole place at the risk of not finding the Toenail.As the fake approach the control room, Maeleach can see more of how they operate throughout the three stations and is greeted with a dreadful view of the void, breaking her delusions about the outside world now knowing that they are all alone in this place and justifying her beliefs even further. Arriving at the control room, the fake advertiser, appearing to be heavily wounded and bleeding, tells them that the culprit is dead, as the Poets of the Hawks make their full appearance.Despite the enigmatic powers of the Poets, she has the plan to defeat him and can count on the amount of Milieus she has obtained. The Poets arrive at a "dead" Maeleach but sense a trap. Instead of coming closer, they instead unleashed two inanimates named Lenz and Boloid and begins their attack on Maeleach, to which she responded with a detonator in her hand as she explodes the fake, but only dealt a tiny graze which quickly regenerated within seconds.
She began formulating an immediate plan as they approached her, with the poets watching her struggle. They see no point in trying to kill her as they ask her what her intention truly is, asking what she expects to get after she had done massacring other meaningful lives now that she knows about the truth. Maeleach responds that it's as "something required" and "something she must do".
Case in point, despite knowing the consequences of her killings, she qualifies them as "self-defense" and prioritizes her identity more than anyone. To her, she doesn't know what 'good' or 'evil' is; it is merely a thing she must do because it is the only thing she has. A remnant of her past that only she could solve.
Meanwhile, Maeleach began formulating a theory about the poet's abilities, stating that the moment she opened the door to the room, is when the objects suddenly appear out of thin air, thinking that it has something to do with opening things.
Exasperated Struggling[]
Lenz began duplicating and proceeds to attract objects towards Maeleach, sending them flying at her. She uses Dan Dari to melt the incoming projectiles and creates a wax coffin to create a platform. However, Maeleach is suddenly pulled towards the metal wall. The Poets goads her to approach them. However, she responds that she does not need to come closer when she could bring them to her, asking the same question: if they have enough resolve to finish her off or if they will run away and rethink their strategy? The Poets remains silent, showing that they are determined to kill her and have no intentions of backing down, thinking of the question as a mere provocation for them be riled up. Boloid begins it's attack, as Maeleach suddenly twists out of proportion. As this happens she tried using Thales to deflect the attack. The Poets began riddling Maeleach, telling her that she is "fighting against the flow of current". Trapped, Maeleach is attacked again by Lenz, the force pulling her to the metal wall behind her becoming even stronger.Maeleach then saw Boloid under her, prompting her to use both Thales and Ebbinghaus to defend herself. However, Boloid was actually going for the floor under her and creates another giant hole but is instead spinning at high speeds, cutting her feet. Maeleach cannot react to the attack and noted them for being instantaneous, being too quick to attack. Even Worse, the force pulling her to the wall is now pulling her down towards the hole. As the objects slowly go through the wax coffin, Maeleach manages to create a wax rope and use her protractors to launch herself up. However, the inanimates had launch an incinerator above and it seems that her tactic has failed. As one of the Poets notes, she has lost her ability to walk due to her feet being chopped in the hole. The incinerator is coming towards Maeleach that they predicted that her body will slowly burn, thinking that it is ironic seeing her melt away just like her first enemy.
Poets: What do you intend on achieving? Why kill other people for your own goals? What even is the point of this meaningless struggle? We simply want to keep our residents safe and yet you decided to rebel, ignoring the consequences that would happen should you disobey them... You had massacred entire groups of people with no care about the significance of their life to others, you destroyed their homes, and you never felt a single drop of remorse. What makes you think we won't let any of these heinous actions go?Poets: The reality and the survival of our race, depends on those who rule them. Righteous and worthy leaders will be remembered past the end of their time. Many people were killed. However, all their sacrifices are not in vain. They are the ones that lead you here. So let's see: are your intentions driven by righteousness? Or are they simply the works of a greedy monster? I guess we’ll know soon enough. Because in the end, those who stand the last are the 'right' and the fallen are the 'wrong'.
Maeleach: I don't know what this "remorse" means. I do not know right and wrong ever since I was born, for no one was there to teach me. The only thing I know I 'must' do is that I need to get that "thing". It is the only thing that would complete me, that would fulfill my purpose.
Unfortunately, Maeleach had already planned the attack and was willing to sacrifice her legs for it pay off. A ring begins to shrink both the hole and lock it using her clippers as Maeleach reveals that she was buying time for both the inanimates to come close, pretending that she was weak for them to approach her, thinking they have gotten the upperhand.
As Boloid tries to ambush her from behind, Maeleach uses her protractors to inverse the rotational value, which completely negates Boloid's ability. Maeleach noted that the ability is something related to hyperboloids, deducing that manipulating the angles at which said object turns into a hyperboloid, she is able to effectively negate them and even states that she has seen the attack several times. Using the last two hydraulics she has to attach on her feet and reinforcing it with fiberglass, she snatches the inanimate and kills it, slowly absorbing the Milieu's ability.
While Maeleach absorbs the Milieu, The Poets ordered Lenz to attack her directly, barreling towards her so fast than time can flow at any period, suddenly appearing right in front of her. Fortunately, she is able to react and block the attack but is knocked away due to the intensity of the ability. The Poets sees that she is able to react fast enough after just absorbing one Milieu. They thus realizes that this was Maeleach's plan: she had been absorbing other inanimate Milieus to get stronger. There was one rule that a Wielder could have one Milieu, with notable exceptions such as Evolved or Reoccurrences. The reason behind this is quite easy and obvious, is was that Wielders only have "one" story or background instead of "many", not unless one has a multiple personality disorder or if they do not have any purpose at all, relying on other Milieus to fill that emptiness.
The absorption only applies to inanimates, which are beings that are given Milieus. There are some that are tamed, but nonetheless they couldn't be absorbed. The exception to this, however, is Maeleach. Seeing as how she doesn't have any purpose in life and relies on the Toenail to find her identity. This process only happens during an inanimate's death, meaning that one would have to destroy them in order to acquire said Milieu. It is possible for a purposeless Wielder to absorb said Milieu and can possess multiple the more they remain purposeless. As a result of Maeleach's past, she is able to absorb inanimate Milieus and is capable of wielding multiple of them.
But the cost of absorbing one's Milieu is to be born without a purpose, a circumstance not all people are willing to partake in.
Purposelessness[]
Being knocked away from the wall, she began bleeding internally, her body being crushed again by the pure gravity of Lenz's attack.
As the Poets realizes her power, they all ran away and started rethinking their strategy, to which befalls into Maeleach's plan. Looking at them from above the wall, Maeleach asks again if they are running away which indicates that she had already laid a trap, showing the detonator at her hip.At the same time, Maeleach briefly reflects on her purpose before focusing her attention on Lenz. She declares that she had already sealed the room and can explode both the facility and the rest of the station. The Poets protests, stating that they have already lost and are leaving. Hearing this cheap provocation, Maeleach taunts them that they have nowhere to run anyway, prompting them partake in the fight regardless of the outcome. The Poets finally steps into the room and approaches Maeleach, carefully staying clear of any traps she may pull off.As they approach her, Maeleach tries escaping from Lenz's extreme density and uses her protractors to minimize the push and started experimenting with her new Milieu. Seeing this, The Poets hesitates for a moment, but resumes their walk with more cautiousness applied to each step. The Poets exhibited bewilderment at Maeleach's true purpose and explains how this fight is practically pointless, knowing that they would lose because of her power. They instead offer her a deal, summoning three doors and telling her that one of the doors lead to the 'thing' she wants to acquire while the other two would lead to her demise.
On the other hand, as Maeleach attempts to escape Lenz's grasp, using the protractors to force her way out and slowly pierce the duplicated inanimate with her fiberglass. However, the ability disengages, causing Maeleach to fall down and impales some parts of her body with the fiberglass due to the direction of magnetic field changing. The Poets tried to negotiate, knowing she is still alive even with he injuries she sustained, but suddenly the puddle of wax she left out on the floor, grew into massive spikes with the inclusion of the ring which increases it's size. Along with the spikes, she applied her clippers to keep them in place and threw some protractors at the Poets, who tries to deflect them with their door. However, one of the protractors slices their arm and began twisting it.
Maeleach starts recovering by using the fiberglass and simultaneously using the protractors and rings to minimize the wounds. This reminded her of the fight she had against the armors, fighting for her life as she reaches the end of her stamina. Although The Poets were wounded, they simply regenerated it with no issue at all. She can barely stand up now as the inanimate began to recover as well and is about to appear out of nowhere. Maeleach tries activating the portable room in time to seal it. As the inanimate barrels towards her, it then again appears instantaneously and through it, she activated the portable room and seals the inanimate inside. She then faced against the Poets, telling them that only the Toenail would complete her and thus agreed to the deal. The Poets proceeds to present the doors as they explain their Milieu, Monty Hall.
They point out that two of the doors causes a certain punishment and the one door leading to an exit depending on what the target desires. The blessing and punishment depends on the target's subconscious desires: if the target wants Maeleach dead, then one must pick the right door, otherwise they would recieve the exact opposite of what they desire. This, however, is the weakness of Monty Hall as that it could be used by the Wielder themselves, which is both a blessing and a curse, because if one were to find a loophole and exploit the intricacies of the ability, then the Wielder could be beaten in their own game.
Maeleach asks them why are they explaining their ability, to which one of The Poets respond that one of the doors leads to her goal, while the other result in her death. They tell her that they have already lost, admitting that her physical prowess and speed is far above theirs. However, they state something in such an explicit manner, telling her that these doors will decide who's right and saying that even if they die, these doors will never go away.Left with no choice, Maeleach must believe in her will to choose what door would lead to her goal. As The Poets waits for Maeleach to choose a door, Maeleach tries to attack them with a protractor but to no avail, with them simply regenerating any damage she dealt and prompts her to choose a door.
Maeleach: Telling me all this- all your abilities. What's the reason for you telling me that? You're maybe planning something that I don't know.The Poets: As we said earlier, we had already lost. However, these three doors you see won't go away whether we die or not. They'll remain here, forever. Not until you decide which door you shall pick. This is all but a gamble, to see which has the greater will. The answer lies beyond the horizon and only those who have the resolve can ever reach it. The question still remains. Which one of us has the resolve to continue? Will it be you? Or will it be us? It's about time we find it out.
Door Shaft[]
Seeing as she would attack them regardless of the deal, The Poets decide to summon another inanimate named 4 Course Meal. Maeleach tries to analyze the inanimate, but is suddenly preoccupied with Lenz which still attempts to attack her. She tries reinforcing the room with more fiberglass, wax and clippers, but The Poets began their attack at Maeleach, using the doors as a shield and using spraying the inanimate onto her. Maeleach gets blown away by the spray, as selenite crystals come out of the nozzle valve. However, they see Maeleach using the Wax and calculating the angles to prevent any damage to apply to her, thus protecting herself from the attack.The Poets then creates a giant maze and decides to create three more doors, hoping she's open the wrong one and die.
Maeleach began planning, creating a clone of herself using wax and trapping Lenz thru Ebbinghaus, in the hopes that they'd be fooled of her opening the door and using the other Poets to open the door for her. Not only that, she created another clone to hide inside the walls of the maze, attaching an explosive to it along with a wire connecting the thermostat, which allows her to activate Dan Dari.
Entering the maze, it is revealed that the Poets had created more doors, being the exact opposite of what Maeleach had. The Poets tried using 4 Course Meal's ability to purify, only to be ineffective as it was a clone. They then try to make the fake Maeleach touch the door by dodging one of her attack but two of the Poets where knocked back by the attack, which comes in contact with the two doors and opens it, instantly killing them. The one remaining Poet deduces that she had already absorbed Lenz, but doubts seeing as how she would expose herself in the maze, realizing it was a clone. Maeleach analyzes them using the other clone with the explosive and tries pushing them off into the other doors. Unfortunately, 4 Course Meal summons selenite crystals to block any incoming attack. The fake Maeleach is covered in sharp crystallites and collapses.
In one part of the maze, the other fake Maeleach works her way into approaching the remaining Poet, using the Right-Hand Rule to navigate thru. The fake succeeds in finding the Poet, but remains hidden as to not alarm them that it is an ambush. She crawls towards the bottom floor and will pop out and explode when the time comes. The Poet decide to open the final door, but is stopped by the other fake Maeleach, with Lenz still inside of her. The real one enters the maze, and decides to finish them off before they can get there. Knowing the path of the maze thanks to her clone, she confronts them face-to-face. The last poet sees the real one enter, coming face-to-face with the real culprit. Both where at a standstill, like a Mexican standoff where one who is faster wins. As the Poets tries using 4 Course Meal to attack, she ducks under them and unleashes the clone hidden in floor, declaring her victory. Pressing the detonator felt like it was worth it, unleashing a devastating end to this fight, with the Poet trying to use the spray to heal themselves but is sent flying thanks to Thales, killing them.

~ Maeleach to the Poet as they die |
She explains her plan in her monologue, stating that she used a clone and attached Lenz to the clone, and used the fiberglass and protractors to manipulate both movement and vision. Since the inanimate was given the order: "Attack Maeleach", she used the protractors to manipulate the light so that the inanimate would think that the Poets were Maeleach, exploiting its simple orders against them. Not only that, she deduces that the enemy would analyze the clone and think that she had absorbed the clone. She then sent another clone with an explosive attached to it, making it go under the floor by turning it into a puddle of wax and controlling it remotely from a distance. After that, she would then enter the room thinking that it is another clone, but it is instead the real one. Since they cannot distinguish the real from the fake, they'll be confused enough to be vulnerable for a few moments, which she exploited and used the clone with the bomb and detonated it, killing the enemy with ease.
She then began the process of absorbing both Lenz and 4 Course Meal, with the latter slowly healing her. Before the door crumbles as she absorbs it, she opens the door and swings it, revealing the "thing" she was looking for.
Faint Lamp[]
Maeleach find herself in a grassy field, the blood dripping down her body making the flowers wilt, the sun shining down on her face as she approaches "it".
The thing was encased in a golden table, with a lamp illuminating some sort of box. An old box, with the rustiness and the mold growing on the outside of the box.
She wasn't sure if all this was an illusion, but she didn't care anyway and nonetheless approached the table, thinking that this is her and that this is her purpose.
As she goes near it, she opens the box contained inside.... It was the Toenail.... The Grandfather's Toenail, Midas's Foot, all the other names she could think off related to feet.
The nail was shining gold and reflected her face, filling her with satisfaction.
However, this moment would only last a short while.
Her happiness turned into nothingness once again. She had gained the thing she ever wanted, but at what cost? Her happiness and contentedness faded away for a little while, slowly but surely, and even when she had hopes for obtaining it, it'll be simply blotted away like a smoldering fire in cold winter.
The people she had killed and the people she had massacred- cities that were destroyed because of her, and many important people all died because of it. The cities turned into ruins- the people’s bodies were spread everywhere, but she did not care about them. She did not care about anyone or anything, all she ever wants is to find her identity nothing more. She thought it was "self-defense", but at this point, was it all intentional? Is it her sanity working against her? She didn't know.
She had taken what she wanted, but what now?
"What is the next step? What is the next step for me, now that I’ve done all I can do? How do I act? What should I do next?" She sat there thinking, the day passed her by and nothing came to her, but the guilt remained.
It is her fault that so many people had to die. She was truly responsible for that. She shouldn’t be happy about this, and she felt so guilty while doing it, that it was hard to come to terms with it. She was, once again, given the choice to just give up and never make anything happen again. Just be another ghost, just be a person who passed away without accomplishing anything.
But she wasn’t going to just sit and do nothing, she could do something about it, right?
No.
There is no redeeming her for what she has done. She has no friends to mourn for her, and no family to care for her. All she'll hear are the hatred of the people who survived.
In the end, she was all alone. She was just a dream to her, someone who could not accomplish anything, who never did anything good. She was now just a ghost without a purpose.
She had ruined so many lives, the lives of millions, the people left surviving in this black expanse of void and nothingness, drifting to someplace and desperately trying to survive only for her to ruin it all.
No parents. No siblings. No friends. No love. No children. No family. No home.
It is all gone like everything was all just a dream.
No one would be coming back to her, no one would call for her.
She will die alone.
She took away their happiness and only succeeded in bringing her misery.
A single tear formed in her eye, breaking through her self-imposed shell, letting the sorrowful emotion free. The result was a lonely tear fell slowly down her cheek, eventually falling into the light rain, which turned it into small puddles.
She did not feel anything. She had nothing in her life.
Everything was too confusing, too different, too unknown.
She no longer had any hope to live.
She wasn't happy anymore.
It was raining heavily now.
She didn't know why.
But, she no longer felt it.
This was it. The end of it all.
She sat there, in her daze, thinking about her past, knowing that she was never a good person, not even something worth considering.
She would just exist as a ghost, drifting through the darkness.
Her guilt had all but filled her and robbed her of everything.
Thus, it awakened her power. The nail fused with her without her even noticing it, but she didn't care at all.
To her, she was no one to ever belong to, she has no one give herself to or yearn for. It was never to be hers, never to be mine.
Awakening her Milieu subconsciously, she picks up the nail and simply walks back. As she returns to her room back at Mossy Desert, people that once exist were gone, she thought that they must've gone somewhere. Now she is truly alone.
Sitting in her room, doing nothing. She was supposed to feel satisfied, but instead she felt emptier than what she was.
Find[]
Years pass by, and Maeleach gained a job and started to hide her identity, working as a train operator and gaining so much money from it. She eats oatmeal for breakfast, garlic bread for lunch, and a kebab doner for dinner. But neither the taste of the food nor the money she gets means anything. To her, the purpose she had is nowhere to be found. However, this doesn't mean that her purpose is gone. She may have found her identity, but it wasn't her purpose. It was an excuse to find it, hoping that the Toenail would be the purpose she was looking for.
To this day, she remains a ghost. Finding her purpose from the moment she was born.
However, it is not only her that is looking for something...
Both the citizens and the police are scrambling to find any clues as to Maeleach's current whereabouts, who is now regarded as a serial killer both missing and wanted. At a newly constructed train station, the remaining survivors are enjoying their day, but that peace is broken when an emergency alert is broadcasted, and learn about the current state of the infamous Culprit. Fear and horror are brought to everyone's eyes, and no longer can any of the survivors believe in good again. As panic ensues, no one is prepared for the ordeal that is to come.
Meanwhile, Maeleach, dressed in her lab coat, is quietly and causally taking a stroll around the new Py'zhics facility. She watches the archived lab tests on her phone as multiple researchers dressed in the same uniform as she discuss using fiberglass as an alternative energy source, theorizing about the extraction of styrene and utilizing it as a form of electric energy. Moreover, another company called Uranus was taking over the market via black hole Dyson spheres. Searching up the current status of the market, it is obvious that Uranus has completely graced over Py'zhics in all terms, obviously since its members are dead.
The website mentions the decline of Py'zhics products, having forcefully bribed train operators with money and threatened to kill them with armors out of their desperation to increase their sales. Py'zhics thus submits an apology and a memorandum which both parties would sign. The document itself has the usual format: a “Memo” or “Memorandum” at the top, followed by a "To" line, a "From" line, a "Date" line, a "Subject" line, and then the actual body of the message. Upon closer inspection, the memorandum states that both parties would have a collaborative effort in combining their ideas. This resulted in the construction of the Train Stations and the place she was born in. Piqued by this information, she decided to dig in further.
Looking up the library, she found multiple privately archived documents and articles. In there, she found another set of archives, which is research on the "previous generation" of Py'zhics. Among the enlisted members of this study is Gorffennol Anghofus, a female scientist who resembles her, and is in fact, her real mother. Though this is a major clue about her past, she is preoccupied with the sudden fixation on the new information she's getting. The study entails asexual reproduction and the utilization of artificial sperm cells. Despite the research growing in massive popularity, controversial topics spread throughout social media, which is the reason for its cancellation.
Looking back at the photo of her mother, she found a gold mine of clues as to her past. This was it, the thing she's been looking for. Her purpose was all there right in front of her eyes. A new hope sprung forth inside of her as she gained an inspiration, an inspiration that will lead her down the path of good. After years of pointlessness and melancholy, there it was.
It felt like an ocean once again filled with strangers. But this time around, she finally found it, albeit incomplete. Like a sliver of light raining down her hopeless and miserable life, she has achieved a piece of it.
It was as if her life was all a lie, and she had been living it all alone, forever. Her life has been riddled with regret, but now, all the grief and the pain will be gone. The new sense of direction has pushed her further toward her true and final goal, and that was "fulfillment".
However, she must be prepared for anything.
After all, who knows where it may lead?
A shaft of light, is all I need[]
Years pass by, and Maeleach has renovated the facility, with a newly built testing area. Her motivation to doing such things is fueled by her pursuit of fulfillment, creating a simulation of an endless universe filled with all of the galaxies and celestial bodies.
Upon entering, Maeleach sets up her recording. After setting up her equipment, she then presses a button to her left side, and a black box appears with her inventions at hand. First, is Fraudulent Sibyl, a silver sword with mysterious engravings. After counting down and swung the sword, the trail of it seems to produce portals. To test it's capabilities, she first summons a tiger and orders it to step into the portal. Coming into contact with the portal, the tiger's body begin to chop away as the portal consumes the animal. Summoning the portal again, the tiger appeared, albeit with a tint of black aura. Curious, Maeleach waves her sword, to which the tiger began to move in the same pattern as she did.Second one is Troubling Garth, a rusty nail. For the test dummy, she first summoned buildings and then a mountain made of metal at a distance. If her hunch was correct when, it should yield the result she's expecting from manufacturing it. Maeleach drops the nail, secreting a slime-like mucus that decomposes the nearby buildings. After about a minute or so, the mucus grew big enough to consume a mountain, to which she began to pour salt on it to stop it from growing. The mucus slowly decayed as the salt was being poured, and she moved on with the next test.
For the third and fourth, that being Micro Exhaust and Olew Hadau, she first used two test dummies and began testing their capabilities. The former, appearing as a harmonica and a wooden spoon connected by tubes, created vibrations that shreds the dummy due to the loud soundwaves it emitted. The latter, appearing as an angle cutter, is used on an alligator. Swinging the serrated weapon, the animal started breaking down from the cellular level due to the weapon's unique power of manipulating Phospholipids.
For the last and final experiment before her night shift, is a light blue beaded bracelet, Bitter Solstice. Upon wearing it, the bracelet emitted a powerful ultraviolet light and later produces a gamma ray burst, firing it off into a solar system. The resulting attack destroyed it completely. For the other weapons that are contained in a separate crate, they are given specific descriptions as to what they do.
Realizing how powerful and eccentric each one were, Maeleach must now prepare herself mentally in order to be ready for anything or anyone that could be a threat to her. Using her power to preemptively sense the threat, she realize it wasn't that powerful, but decides to prepare for it anyway so as to not be that arrogant.
Death Approaches….[]
A few years after, Maeleach, still on her journey to find her purpose had thoughts plague her head about what the Poets have said:
“This door will not fade even if we die, and it too will decide your fate”
These words bothered her like a bug whizzing by someone’s ear, unable to be caught. For years, it haunted her. It felt like something was there but isn’t. She has always been reminded of her killings and her wrongdoings; a constant reminder that keeps her aware of what she has done…
Looking at the vast void in the so-called sky, it’s no wonder how hard it is for people to determine what is day or night if there even is such a thing as that.
Knowing what has happened in the past, she knew that it was a clone that opened the door and not her, so it may have something that affected her fate. Remembering what the Poets have said, the inside of the door will determine who opens it.
“Maybe I was blind to realize it… that fate itself has already a path chosen regardless of what I’d do… It doesn’t care what choice I made….”
Maeleach didn’t bother completing the sentence, she knew that it was inevitable and knows what would happen. But for now, all she cares about is finding her purpose that which she doesn’t know. The purpose she had been looking for seemed like a hazy fog, unable ever to be perceived nor interacted with. And as she tries to look further into the fog, all she could see are the remnants of what once was a golden opportunity, broken in the face of absolute solitude.
A woman trying to find her place in an ocean of strangers, attempting to claim herself amidst the loneliness. A lost soul. A ghost. A nobody. One who does not belong to anyone, not even herself. A person who does not exist. A human with nothing to gain, yet nothing to lose.
Walking back to her home she feels the same looming presence again, but this time it’s much longer and much more intense. This was something that needs to account for. Unfortunately, she didn’t have Never Be Mine activated at all times, thinking that her previous abilities are enough to stop whoever it is she is about to face.
“You were given 3 paths to your destiny….”
Maeleach was shocked, an echoey voice blares throughout the station.
“Two of them leading to punishment and one leading to salvation…”
Looking around, there was no one but her and this unknown speaker.
“But it seems like you have cheated your way through it…”
A black ooze began forming on the floor, with it materializing into a humanoid figure, growing tall at a slow pace, gradually getting bigger until it stops at around 10 meters, its size looming over Maeleach.The terror of the past, the destiny she is trying to escape.
“And I have come here…. To take what is due…….."
The voice was much clearer this time and it was bone-chilling. However, she is unfazed by it as she had come to terms with her death long before the encounter.
“La Muerte….” she muttered. Her fate was sealed, and her life is the price she would pay for all the things she have done.
“Death comes at any time… But I never expected you’ve prepared so much for my arrival,” the black figure said, its red eyes gleaming in the dark as it stares down at her.
She stood silent, she knows what will happen the moment she makes a move. But doubt fills her mind as she tries to fathom the creature in front of her.
“You do know the consequences of those who dare violate the rules. Children who do not follow shall be punished…” the voice whispers in her ear, but the body didn’t move, like its body and voice are two beings altogether.
“The door…“ she thought
“The moment you entered through the door, you have already lost to them…. Yes, the Toenail that which you have received is indeed real and true. However, it too brought the consequences that lead you here…. No matter how much you try and escape, the shackles of solitude and bloodshed had already pinned you…. For a woman to survive the depths of despair and loneliness is impressive, but she is also the victim of her actions… Playing at the hands of fate… A fate that is death…” the figure said, its voice coming like a breezing wind, her body slowly turning into stone from the revelation, her mind being corrupted, slowly turning her into their puppet.
“....”
“It” was right. She is held by the shackles of her past, a slave to her dream, and is simply puppeteered by death itself. Ever since she was born, she was already fighting against fate, struggling to find her purpose and place in life, continuing to this day.
“So… are you willing to draw your weapon and face the inevitable? Or will you cheat your way through it once more? If you believe that your purpose exceeds that of reality and if you truly have faith in your dreams, then strike me down and prove to me that your struggles weren’t in vain, for that is the only key to finding oneself.” the figure challenges Maeleach to a final battle, as the woman remained still for a while.
“Purpose…. My purpose…. I don’t know it yet…” she muttered, lost in thought as she slowly clenched her stony fist together and prepares herself, opening her eye as it reveals a sinister look on her face, the like which would kill anyone just by glancing at them.
“The power of the infamous culprit… How marvelous…” the figure is taken aback by her sheer strength and the fact she managed to resist their power, “The Poets were true about the plan they had set up, there was no chance of defeating you at that state.” the figure said, surprised and impressed by her power.
The fight starts, with Maeleach using [Lycanthrope: Dead Men Tell No Tales] to surround them, [Stratum Echelon] to attempt to absorb their power, applying [P6’s Barrier] to each and that would spontaneously spawn, then using [Browbeat Badger] to seal them.
But as this happens, La Muerte had already appeared behind her, with the latter trying to use [Titin] to bounce off the incoming attack. However, La Muerte had pulled back its punch and went straight for Maeleach, carefully treading the ants to not activate the ability. In an instant, lots of black spheres appear, pulling her closer to eat. At a moment's notice, she unholsters the Nock Gun at her hip, shooting ballistic apes at them. However, as they come in contact with La Muerte she notices that they seemingly annihilate them. Maeleach tries using Bitter Solstice, wearing the bracelet as the light emitting formed a gamma-ray burst, shooting towards La Muerte.
Again, the same thing happened, but this time they summoned an animal to “bite down” on the light, akin to shadow puppetry. At the same time, they made contact with the ground, touching it and deconstructing it with their Antimatter-like properties. This spreading destruction approaches the residents, who were running for their very lives, running as the wave reaches them. Instinctively, Maeleach throws a rusting nail, creating a slime mucus that absorbs the antimatter, protecting herself from it. The unfortunate others who were caught suffered a lethal illness and seemingly died out of senescence.
“If the fight stays any longer, more of the civilians would be killed…” Maeleach pauses her thought, realizing what she had just said. Before, it didn’t matter to her if people die and were simply an excuse for self-defense, and this time was no different. To others, the term “self-defense” is all but a sham- an excuse for her to ignore people’s lives and focus on her goals. The justifications for actions could never be explained, either thru her isolation or her misunderstanding of good and evil, it all depends on the perspective of people.
Her fights with the Py’zhics and her final scuffle with The Poets are supposedly the end, and yet here she is, fighting the very embodiment of death itself, doubting if she could “kill” them without harming the civilians. So she started creating a plan, she plans on taking La Muerte to another dimension and settling the matter there, plain and simple.
The question is, how?
As she formulates the plan, she tries using [Combusting Rage] to distract him, thinking it would slow them down, but is quickly overpowered by their difference in speed and is knocked away to the far reaches of the station, striking her before she even launched the attack, with time and space itself bending, skipping, stopping, and speeding just their sheer speed. To finish the job quickly, La Muerte reached out their hand, the gravity pulling what seems to be air- no it was something else.
According to Sir William Crookes, the fourth state of matter- that being plasma- is created through the process of “ionization”, which adds energy to a gas so that some of its electrons leave its atoms. This is what Maeleach was witnessing; in her attempt to escape, multiple chains pinned her down, with some attempting to reach into her head and heart, surely her life ended here….
In her desperation, she tried using [Drowsy Siesta] to incapacitate La Muerte, but to no avail, her cheap tricks weren’t working against someone whose speed and power could not be measured.
She wasn’t facing against an inanimate nor a Milieu Wielder….
She is facing the byproduct created by The Monty Hall Problem…
She is facing the very embodiment and concept of Death…
A being transcendent to everything, above life and concepts, as everything around it sees an end..
La Muerte…
In her stubbornness, the culprit wiggled her body back and forth, aligning her mouth to fit a golden harmonica. Blowing down on it, deafening sounds were heard, breaking the chains that enslaved her body and freeing her from this imprisonment. However, La Muerte counters and petrifies the very ground in solid ice, with everything around them in absolute zero, the lowest possible temperature at the lowest entropy. The monster then opened its mouth, releasing a toxic and poisonous acid as well as a nest of insects that splatter around the culprit. Unfortunately, Maeleach reaches into her wrist and uses 4 Course Meal to purify the insects all the while brandishing Fraudulent Sibyl.
She tries to make the distance for her to use the full extent of her abilities, then uses Stone Shelter so she could release her true power. La Muerte carefully tries to attack her, but hesitates, thinking that she has a plan up her sleeve if they were to follow her.
Due to this hesitation, La Muerte is impaled by countless concept-negating fiberglass shards momentarily afterward, noticing that even a slight bit of error can make them be caught off-guard, taking every advantage Maeleach has just to gain a slight bit of leverage. Despite their immeasurable agility and strength, Maeleach is the very first one to ever catch them off-guard.
Instead, La Muerte changes the surrounding temperature to magma and fire, making Maeleach fall into a puddle of molten liquid. To protect herself, she surrounds the area with [Dead Men Tell No Tales], summoning the ants which are instantly killed and are turned into these black humanoid soldiers, carrying their master to the surface. However, La Muerte, who is from a distance, launches a current of water, creating a magma tsunami of sorts. The soldiers began adapting to it, however, proving the grim reaper’s attack to be futile.
“Was she holding back this whole time? No, that shouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility, she is indeed doing that…. But to what extent? For now, the best choice is to prevent her from doing that”
In the meantime….
Maeleach’s glass shards worked as a distraction to keep them busy alongside the soldiers acting as her shield, throwing a barrage of them in her wake as she hastily speeds up and uses [Scarper Vanish] to traverse into the timeless void and ambush them there. Unfortunately, the difference in their speed is still massive. Seeing that Maeleach had probably gone far away, La Muerte witnessed the rift in the timeless void and catches the girl’s foot, disabling her to escape.
The reaper pulled the girl towards them and places their hands on her chest, gripping their very soul, and began draining her life energy, her perception is warped as well as her biological structure decaying.
“The energy that created the universe, condensed to form everything that exists from the densest to the most refined. It is within the conscience, within the body. However, death coexists with all of these. As all things come into fruition, so will they come to an end,” La Muerte said, pulling away her soul.
However, what they didn’t know was that the culprit had to wait for this moment.
Maeleach was grinning, she knew that death would rip out her soul and she also knew that he knew she was holding back. Unfortunately for them, she had plans set up for when this happens. First, she used [Holder Aprons] to lock the soul in place and return the energy to her using [Thale’s Theorem].
La Muerte tried pulling back, reforming itself, and attempts to teleport, but Maeleach grips on them tightly, preventing their escape. However, several spears made of bones and blood attempt to gush out of Maeleach’s body with La Muerte distracting her with a familiar fragrance, which can woe someone’s morality and turn their beliefs upside down.
As she was distracted, the black soldiers arrive at her aid, stabbing the reaper from behind with their swords. Overwhelmed, La Muerte makes a desperate move, he created several weather phenomena to knock away the culprit, creates a field of fungi to disable Maeleach’s sight, and manipulates her mind and morality so that she would eventually let go. Unfortunately, she used [Ebbinghaus Delbouef] to counter the weather and the fungi, and resists the fragrance by using Cartesian Diver to reflect it. La Muerte tries to attack again with electricity and vibration, but Maeleach uses Lenz to slow it down, easily rendering it useless.
“Tch..” the reaper snarled at Maeleach, its body protruding veins invading the woman’s nervous system to attack her and, through there, manipulate her pain receptors, knowing that going for her soul and possessing it would prove to be futile. Inside, multiple protractors were deflecting each one of the veins. Though none were able to possess her body, others attempted to invade her dreams or put her to sleep, but they too were in vain.
“...”
The reaper grunted, scowling at the culprit, and transported the two of them into a void. Her plan may have failed, but through here, she could go all-out without a problem. The problem is that she currently doesn’t know how much of that power this space could take. So instead, she began on the defensive and distances herself from La Muerte. However, the reaper summoned black crystals from the ground to stab her, shot out multiple strands of black hair, and holds out their hand, telekinetically keeping her in the air to receive the full brunt. Howbeit, Maeleach countered the attack with [Highest Summit] to crush the crystals and [Great Cuisine] to keep the hair in place, both negating it and the one that is keeping her in mid-air.
La Muerte kept their hands together and creates an orb, magnetizing the skewers she threw, gravitationally pulling her along in it. Nevertheless, she used [Worthless Time] to overwrite his dimension with hers, and rendered the orb useless. Though this did not stop their assault, opening portals to countless Earths and launching them straight at her. Fusing the stars through nuclear fusion, it emitted large amounts of radiation, illuminating the endless expanse of nothingness with a pure white glow. Maeleach got down and braced for the attack, but the reaper wasn’t done. The black puddles underneath her formed into grey-colored sand, leaking with napalm.
Wanting to ensure her death, La Muerte sealed her off in ectoplasmic prison and layered it with infinite pocket dimensions, manipulating the size of it to seal her in. However, Maeleach had already her assault in motion. First, she used [Thale’s Theorem] to control the probability of his attack, negating both the seal and the dimension she is in; second, she used [Cartesian Diver] to reflect the incoming sand and the oil explosion as well as the gamma radiation; and third, she used [Boloid] to overwrite the dimensions they are controlling. Proving the onslaught to be ineffective, La Muerte suddenly began to reduce the damage she resisted and reflect it on her.
However, she nullified the attempt and went straight for them, summoning [St. Mary]’s crosses and fires lots of holy magic whilst keeping her distance given the current speed disadvantage. The reaper notices this and went back in time to kill her, duplicating itself to delay Maeleach in her chase. But natheless, the culprit was unaffected, despite the latter’s power being stated to be inevitable. Moments later, it returned with an infinite battalion of La Muertes.
“I suppose… this is the end….” one said, a slight disappointment in their tone of speech.
“Guess so…” she responds, glancing down at the nothingness only to see more of them.
“For a person such as you, it sounds insincere..” the figure taunted her.
“You could say that…” Maeleach responds, with her foes unleashing a wave of death-like energy and enveloping the entirety of the void while Maeleach stands unfazed and charges at them with [Provision's Great Cuisine], summoning skewers as they rush towards her. Some of the La Muerte instantly “died”, whilst the others were using every conceivable power they could imagine: causality, concepts, holy and unholy, threads and fate, yet none of them work.
As she attempts to find the real one, she is stopped by the battalion. Though she countered it with her skewers, the energy formed into a blade and combated her concept-negating weapons. She then goes underneath to use [Combusting Rage] to act as the projectiles, [Stratum Echelon] to absorb the incoming barrage, [Cartesian Diver] to reflect the damage, [Lenz] to multiply each attack, [Boloid] to create a dimensional barrier to keep her safe, and [Holder Aprons] to keep them in place, “locking” death itself. However, the clones negated her resistance as well as the infinite layers that come with it, knocking her towards the other horde attacking her. Whilst she is staggered, the La Muertes began to pummel her to the “ground”. A short while after, Maeleach muttered three words:
“Annherfynol, Di-baid, Cyson”
The language was a bit strange. It wasn’t English that she spoke, but rather Welsh. Having her mother’s name and her ancestry to be of Welsh descent, she studied the language and soon developed a technique with a name. As she utters the words in her mouth, she is surrounded by the incoming wave of death.
Before they knew it, Maeleach was already above them and in an instant, destroying all of them at once. Her speed surprises them and makes them teleport away instinctively.
Immediately after, she charges toward them. Maeleach uses [Lycanthrope: Stone Shelter], [Nighthog Watch: Worthless Time], and [Lenz] in combination with one another to reduce their speed, with the latter being startled by how creative and shrewd she is at using her abilities, notably complementing her increased super intelligence.
With this knowledge in mind, La Muerte decides to finish the fight as quickly as possible, the avatar contorting into a somewhat abstract form, appearing less and less humanoid. They then began to tear apart the timeless void within Maeelach’s ability, and form it into a blade, to negate her immortality and regeneration. The resulting attack caused the void to crackle, breaking it.
However, Maeleach managed to survive, as she used Enclosure to nullify the attack and Lenz to redirect.
“One who has lost their way will surely meet destruction,” one of them said, the voice growing louder and much more corrupted.
Remembering her moments with the Toenail and how it gave her comfort, she began remembering her past.
As a child, she was always cared for by her foster mother. But due to her being unable to speak, she can only teach the young Maeleach through weird writings, items, and symbols as she cannot afford money to educate her and had to rely on the things built on the station to do so.
And ever since her passing, Maeleach was always alone. She had no one to teach her but herself, she raised herself to become a person but ended up going through this bloodstained massacre just to find a piece of her long-lost memory…
It was a tragedy…
But for the others… It wasn’t just a massacre…
It was genocide…
As the army of La Muertes attempts to create a much more powerful blade that can negate concepts and warp reality, however, Maeleach retaliates and uses [Fine Tuning] to turn this almighty sword into nothing more than a stick, rendering it useless. She then followed it up with [Blessing of St. Mary], holding out her palm and summoning countless crosses, unleashing limitless amounts of holy energy. This attack destroyed the timeless void easily but is rebuilt again by Maeleach, showing her dominating control over the fight.
“You said it yourself, didn’t you? That there are dues needed to be paid… right? Unfortunately, you were talking about your debt, not mine…” the girl said.
La Muerte, the very embodiment of death began to shake at Maeleach’s taunting, with the latter approaching them with the intent to “kill”. As a last-ditch effort, they tried removing her story, but it was ineffective; some tried to adapt to her power, but it was fruitless; others attempted to mimic her, yet it was futile.
The chills were sent down throughout every corner of their very being, with them unable to realize that they’d been struck by her skewers. This attack staggers La Muerte, as their powers have been completely negated and have been rendered useless to her overwhelming power. They soon deduced that the void is being kept together in one place, seeing a cave towering above the swaths of nothingness. They then attempted to end the battle by brandishing their black tendrils at Maeleach but fail to notice the inevitable outcome of the fight. They realized that she was pretending to be weak, acting like the attack she took was severe when, in reality, was far more durable than their attack. To her, it was insignificant- worthless even.
The overall attack causes the timeless void to simply cease while La Muerte is forced to witness the massacre before their very eyes. Endless universes, countless realities, infinite dimensions, all simply contort and bend to her power. Genuinely, they knew that this is not her full strength and could've gone their way to destroy infinite space-time continua had she truly wanted to.
Concepts? Reason? Reality? They don’t mean a thing! It’s all pointless to someone who doesn’t know them. Like a blind idiot god, asleep at everything, ignorant of the very fact of their existence.
Much like her, everything is temporary and will soon meet its end. Her power represents this side of hers. Having belonged to no one, and having nothing in return.
The very embodiment of loneliness, having no one, even herself.
The Culprit stands confidently and eerily with her summons, appearing behind her like an army. As she confidently approaches the hopeless avatar, slowly but surely moving towards them, with each step increasing the tension.
Against the Culprit, those who dare challenge her will meet certain destruction. Fear that struck the hearts of the many, and fear that will not stop until it reaches the light of day. For one is finding their purpose, stopping at nothing to get it.
Maeleach looks down at La Muerte with a cold but saddened expression, proceeding to destroy death itself, the very concept and embodiment of death, which is, ironically, being killed, showing the massive gap between them. Maeleach felt reassurance and left the timeless void shortly afterward, walking back to the station and casually bringing back the destroyed galaxies, black holes, and space itself back in its place, absorbing them all and increasing her already inscrutable power even further.
In the dying mind of Grim Reaper, it was already sure that now power would work against the Culprit, but having been absorbed into ever-transcending almightily grace, the notion of "strength", "speed", and "resilience" simply became irrelevant and trivial.
Walking away, Maeleach finds experiences an epiphany and is at a loss for words. The feeling of loneliness sets in once again, and finding an enemy that knows her brings some company to the table. She doesn't want to fight, but rather, live in peace and harmony. To belong and to be loved, not be hated.
However, she thinks she'll never get to that paradise. Simply left out here in the darkness.
All alone once again, but struggles to find herself as well. It's this struggle that pushes her to where she is now.
Dubiety[]
It was winter in the Endless Corridor. People were smiling, giving each other gifts, and happiness was spread throughout each corner of every train station.
Without the presence of evil, the looming sense of doom, and the absence of the Culprit, everyone was at peace.
All except one…
In the cold, detached Py'zhics facility, a lone female was laying on the wall, squatting. She glanced over to her arm, slowly becoming accustomed to the old body she had before awakening her Milieu, implying she had made an avatar or a vessel to inhabit before the event. Looking at all the wounds she acclimated for years of finding the Toenail, Maeleach looks at her prosthetic legs, reminding her about the fight with the Poets, prompting her to stare once again at the door before taking her lab coat off and heading to her bedroom to sleep.
There, she was staring at the ceiling. It had been a long day of making inventions and she was bored, but sleep wouldn't come.
She was too busy thinking about the past. Her face was painted with dread, and her eyes felt dreary as if she was about to cry… yet couldn't.
She remembered her very first steps as a newborn baby. She had been bewildered and confused, not understanding anything that was happening around her. But then she met her foster mother, Andrea Saunders. The kind woman took the young Maeleach under her wing and showed her how to live in this strange place.
For the first— and hopefully not the last -- time in Maeleach's life, she felt loved and cared for - something that no one had shown her after.
Whenever Maeleach thought of those happy times with Andrea, she couldn't help but feel a lump form in her throat...but tears would never fall from her eyes again as she was used to her powers numbing the presence of emotion.

It was midnight, and both Maeleach and Andrea were going back to their little rusty shanty. As they go home, the little girl's stomach begins to rumble, with her foster mother patting her head, saying that it would be alright as they have some leftover food from the trash.
The two prepared their meal: using dirt as their "bowl", and pouring in cups of flour, water, and sugar to form a "cake".
Disgusting as it looks, to them, this is the only food that they have. And it was yummy… for them at least.
Smiles were painted on their faces as they savored the feast, laughing without a care for the outside world.

As nostalgia finally started to claim her consciousness, suddenly large droplets began running down her cheeks as all kinds of emotions bubbled up inside and finally burst out in a geyser of happiness, sadness, love, and loss.
Impossible as it may be, some things are simply bound to come out, sooner or later. She knew she couldn't cry, but why was it the opposite? Was she hallucinating again? Was her mind plagued with some illusion?
No. It was not.
It wasn't until then that Maeleach realized just how much she needed to cry all this time. Having saved all the grief, and all the things she had to go through. She could finally let it all out in a single moment. And so she wept in silence, clutching a picture of her mother to her chest as she holds it tighter than ever before.
As Maeleach wipes the tears off her face, she attempts to put back the emotionless facade and begins fiddling with her inventions, before hearing a siren going off. The lady turns her head and sees a young man in a blue fur coat eyeing her inventions as he fidgets a small snowman figurine, shown to be Modoru. This prompts Maeleach to question why he is here, instantly yanking her fan to attack him. Modoru abates her hostility, sipping down a cup of cocoa before effortlessly stopping her charge, saying that he was just looking at her stuff. However, she shoots this statement down, claiming that non-personnel are not allowed to enter at these times. Modoru reveals that he is here for a reason, saying that he pities her for being alone and, after finding her, wishes to recruit her into the new Mijukaku after an event that took out almost all members.
Modoru explains that he knows of her past and that she had killed, absorbed, and stolen over near-endless amounts of Milieu, to the point he'd take around eons just to get to a quarter of the powers she has stockpiled. He humors her by telling her that he too has been alone, wanting something to alleviate his boredom, finding it noteworthy for him to create his avatars so that he can interact with his "old man". Modoru notes that even she subconsciously made a weaker vessel to inhabit. Maeleach asks if he has anything to do other than disseminate info off her face, to which Modoru replies by nodding. As he disappears into the shadows the doctor warns Maeleach to be on her guard, pointing at the three doors covered with wax.
As much as she could see the future without her even doing it, she didn't feel like doing it and simply wanted to get some shut-eye for her day shift as a train driver. However, a group of masked individuals came out of the door like Modoru warned and circled the lady seemingly instantaneously.
She sighs in disappointment, clearly eschewing the notion of fighting them. One of the Poets walks up to Maeleach, believing her to be the Culprit as they take note of her frail and enfeebled form before asking if she's finally ready to surrender. Maleach doesn't answer and picks up the mechanized eyepatch from her pocket, prompting them to realize that she didn't even consider them to be present. Noto exclaims, shouting as if she's utterly disrespecting them before being stopped by La Muerte, telling him to calm down. Hisui rhetorically reiterates The Poet's question, asking if she had found any of the "purpose" she was bantering about, to which she doesn't respond. Hisui sighs before telling Maeleach that everything she had, from her killings to her weird rants, didn't do a single thing but made everything worse for her and consequently the people of the Endless Corridor. Maleach finally answers and agrees about the things he said. She explains that as of now, she prefers to stay hidden and that she doesn't want to meddle with anyone else, voluntarily imprisoning herself to keep the Corridians safe. She also claims that she had already confessed to the police and surrendered her inventions to a black box inside a simulated reality. Finally, she states that she doesn't want to continue pursuing her purpose and fully accepts being locked up here forever before telling them to leave her be.
However, La Muerte refuses to let her go, telling her about the things she has done and how it is unforgivable. Showing how the Corridor would be better off without her. Maeleach exclaims, saying that they took everything from her, hiding the past of her mother, and even preventing her from discovering it. The Poets repeated each of her excuses, asking Hisui if they prevented her, with the latter responding that he didn't and that he was simply doing his job as an officer guarding his post. One of the Poets one of their accomplices if they tried hiding her mother's past, to which they said no and that they did nothing to the archives. The Poets further elaborate on Maeleach's excuses, telling them that they never once restricted any freedom from her and that they were simply protecting her and the Corridians from the outside world, sarcastically remarking if there's anything one could even find if they go outside the border.
Maeleach was stunned but she knew she had it coming. Doing all of that just to come across an impasse, is all but detrimental to her and the Corridians she claims to not meddle with. However, La Muerte broke Maeleach out of her short epiphany and tells her that they didn't come here to debate nor to correct her actions and that they were done with talking her out in the first place. The Poets approved of the latter's statement as they stand amongst the millions of Advertisers, Inanimates, and the now resurrected enemies of the Culprit, where they elaborate on their nature: They are no longer humans; Inanimates, or Milieu Wielders; but another type of creature that was made by the remnants of La Muerte's power due to Maeleach's carelessness. One of them explains that whilst Maeleach was taking her time absorbing La Muerte, it began the process of bringing her previous enemies back and granting them their abilities, and as a result strengthened them up to the former's power, further multiplied to match The Culprit's strength, allowing them to be transcendent in nature as well. As Maeleach sighs whilst stretching her hip, The Poets command all of them to attack.
Each of them pulls out their weapons, fuses themselves into their Inanimates, and lunges at The Culprit. As each makes contact with her, they are blown back by the force of her simply moving, crashing through the Py'zhics roof whilst slicing through Hisui and several thousands of Advertisers with her fan. As they land in Dry Oasis, The Culprit kneels over Hisui's shredded body, clutching his and three others' heads. Behind her, The Wall and a thousand Armors appear, attempting to skewer The Culprit. They were unsuccessful, however, as it is shown The Culprit was able to shred them without taking any damage herself. Noto looks on, annoyingly exclaiming that the fight is 'already under her control'.
Standing on the sewers below The Culprit, the Candles burst into the floor, causing a massive geyser to bust through the very border. As The Culprit leaps backward towards Warm Tundra, Shed and the other Advertisers appear and enclose her in a planet-sized glass dome. Their attacks seem to have little effect, however, as Shed shoots through the crown and grabs The Culprit, throwing her to Mossy Desert.
Suddenly, The Culprit seemingly sliced Shed to ribbons, before she was pushed back by multiple Inanimates. Stuck in the void outside the border, La Muerte and The Poets take this momentary opportunity to impale The Culprit, repeatedly using the same attacks La Muerte used at her, as each hit launches her out the border. As The Culprit is pushed out of the Endless Corridor and into the void, The Poets seal the entire Corridor with a dimensional barrier. Reaching inside her pocket, The Culprit detonates a million bombs strapped to herself and flings herself towards the barrier.
As her fan begins to rip through the barrier upon re-entry to the atmosphere, The Culprit's body begins to recreate itself, until she is fully formed. Still falling, The Culprit launches out Dan Dari across the entire Warm Tundra, pulling The Poets, La Muerte, and the billions upon trillions of Inanimates and Advertisers. Using her fan to pull them closer, they each express a moment of dread, before they too are torn apart by Maeleach's fan and erased with Dan Dari's infinite temperature, causing the entire train station to consequently cease as well.

In the deepest of the Corridors, where people are subjected to the all-consuming black holes, and criminals are brought to be spaghettified. Only the worst of the worst, and only those who have made a very unforgivable mistake could be taken to this forsaken place one could call hell.
At the very bottom, one with nothing but the void to call home, one sole individual is placed. An individual that went and struck fear in the very hearts of every single person living in the Corridors. To think that such a person existed, that such an entity could wield so much power and to think one would attempt to destroy the last bastion humanity has left, instead of living out their last moments before the universe ends, brings others to confusion and bewilderment.
The prison that person was in was a bleak and foreboding place. The walls were made of extremely advanced materials. The air was thick with the scent of disinfectant and the sound of shifting holographic doors echoed throughout the cell. But despite the harsh conditions, the person knew that it was where they belonged. They committed something so wicked and are now paying the price for that action.
The Culprit was considered a high-risk inmate, which meant that they were placed in a maximum-security unit that specialized for them specifically. The other inmates, having heard about their profile, avoid them at all costs. The guards, too, were wary of them, and they kept a close eye on their every move.
Maeleach had been in prison for nearly a year, and every day was a struggle for her. She had committed so many crimes, ones that she knew were unforgivable, but she was determined to make amends in any way she could.
“Look at all of the people you’ve killed! The places you’ve destroyed! Just because you’ve suddenly turned good doesn’t mean we could release you out into the world scot-free! Thank yourself for giving yourself immortality, damn monster!”
“People like her, they know how to play the game. They'll do whatever it takes to try and get sympathy from others. But at the end of the day, she's still a monster.”
"I don't understand how someone can live with themselves after doing something like that."
"Well, I guess that's why she's in here, trying to atone for what she's done. But in my opinion, it's too little, too late. She should rot in here for the rest of her life."
"I don't know, I think everyone deserves a chance at redemption. Who are we to judge?"
"We're the ones responsible for keeping these criminals in check. And in my book, Maeleach is one of the worst. No, scratch that, she’s the worst."
The words of the guards weighed heavily on Maeleach's heart. She knows that those words are true, but to hear the people tasked with guarding her call her a monster only confirmed the self-loathing she felt. The lonely woman had spent countless hours in her cell, reflecting on her past actions and trying to find some semblance of peace. She had tried to make amends in any way she could, but the guards' words made her feel like all her efforts were for naught.
Every day was already a struggle, and the words of the people she killed echoed in her mind, a constant reminder of the person she used to be. Now filled with nothing but deep regret, she spent most of her days reflecting on the actions that led her to this place. She thought about the people she had hurt, the lives she had destroyed, and the pain she had caused. It was a heavy burden to bear, but Maeleach knew that she deserved it.
“If you want to change for the better, the best time to do that is now. Turn yourself in, regret everything you’ve done, and try to repay all of them with something incomparable to that.”
It was the words of that man which made her remember everything. It was thanks to the words of Dr. Kita that made her like this. Those words weren’t out of fear nor was it out of hatred or spite for the actions she had done. Rather, those words spoke directly to her empty heart, one that is empty and yearning for love.
One that simply needed a friend- a companion; someone who she can talk to…someone she could confide in…someone she could cry to and tell them her deepest regrets…
She had made a promise to herself and him that she would do everything in her power to make up for her mistakes. To some, those words are the ones that could fit some motivational videos found online. But to her, those words meant the whole world. Like a divine light shining at her darkest moment, tears run down her eyes as she asks for forgiveness.
So, she started by volunteering in the prison library, helping other inmates learn how to read and write. It wasn't long before Maeleach's efforts caught the attention of the prison staff, and they began to take notice of her positive attitude and her willingness to help others. They started to give her more responsibilities, allowing her to help with educational programs and other rehabilitation initiatives. As time went on, Maeleach's reputation grew, and she became a respected member of the prison community. Her fellow inmates looked up to her and admired her dedication to atoning for her past. And although Maeleach knew that she could never fully make up for what she had done, she took comfort in the fact that she was making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Ten years passed, and Maeleach's sentence was eventually commuted. As she walked out of the prison gates for the first time in what felt like an eternity, Maeleach felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. She had come a long way since the day she first walked into that prison, and she knew that she had the strength and determination to continue making a difference in the world, like what he had told her.
Now, she is no longer alone. Surrounded by her newfound friends and a partner, she went to start a family and help the Endless Corridors prosper with her power.
Building up from the relics of her old past, she begins developing new inventions as the government hands over the confiscated objects that she turned in when she was willing to let the police arrest her. As she rebuilds the new Py’zhics facility, now filled with people whom she had made genuine bonds with.
“You’ve changed a lot.”
A voice comes from out of nowhere, as a man in blue clothing approaches the former Culprit.
“Ms. Maeleach, was it? Or should I say, Ms. Dim Hirach?” Modoru asked, glancing at her uniform.
“I did it, Modoru. I really did it…”
For years and years that had gone on with her life, all she witnessed was the hardships of life. Now causing that same pain to people under the cunning guise of her goal to find her true purpose, that same crime had bitten her at the back, gnawing at the lies she subconsciously created to protect her mind from the evil she’s inadvertently making. Placed in a pit of pure nothingness, where no light would dare shine, she took on a path no one dares to enter.
With the guiding torch of a divine being, however, she manages to find her way back home and find the purpose she has been searching for:
Purpose.
Understanding.
Belonging.
Friends.
Family.
As the woman smiles in front of her savior, the sky that was once so dark and black, became as bright as day. The rain has finally stopped, and the emptiness is now gone.
A new journey arises.
Personality and Beliefs[]
Maeleach is a quirky and weird nihilist, willing to find her true purpose and identity in the world of strangers. As such, Maeleach is driven to discover what her true purpose in life really is, stopping at nothing just to get what she wants. This drive is a priority above all her interest as she was willing to kill anyone just to achieve her goals. This determination is at it's peak when she is willing to get crushed by The Walls's protractors and confronted the Poets head-on without running away.
At times, Maeleach can stray off the goals she's set for herself. However, this does not impend her in any way, and never lets her guard down such as when she saw the search party looking for her, acting natural and normal despite the tremendous pressure she is putting herself in.
Even in or out of battle, she approaches all things in a calm and collected manner, showing immense composure even when faced with extremely dangerous scenarios. Even in the most hopeless of situations, where things go south, Maeleach displays calmness albeit slightly anxious. At her worst, Maeleach is shown breathing intensely and breaking out in a sweat when emotionally distressed, but she never reaches a high level of panic that she becomes reckless and/or impulsive. On multiple occasions she sometimes taunts her enemies to not fight her, telling them that she has no joy in killing them and only does so in self-defense. However, she is willing to kill people shall they hurt her or mess with her personal space. Maeleach is not afraid to threaten to kill, though her goal of acquiring the Toenail means killing any opponents in her way is extremely inefficacious and is considered barbaric. For instance, she was shown to kill everyone she's fought against without hesitation, and all have died gruesome deaths. Much later, she would deceive everyone into believing that she is a normal civilian, when in reality she was merely lowering their suspicions so that she could infiltrate the Py'zhics facility and find her way to the Toenail.
Additionally, she is prone to rant and speaking at length. This was shown when she explained her plan towards the advertisers, telling them that they were careless about cornering her, thinking that she was defeated. Furthermore, Maeleach seems to have a habit of declaring her victory. She is notably shown posing after outsmarting the Advertisers and nonchalantly rants about electric fans to Hisui as he is dying. Even if the enemy has the advantage, she proves time and time again, with confidence, that she is able to come out on top. Despite this, Maeleach takes precautions such as when she heads back at the train sewerage, performing a tactical retreat against The Walls; even more so against a group of enemies like the Advertisers. Nonetheless, when push comes to shove, Maeleach is not afraid to sacrifice herself just to gain an advantage. For instance, she was shown getting her legs chopped off by Boloid just to close the distance between them and even allowed herself to be drowned by the advertisers in order to trap them with wax and activate her ability. Even with a seemingly complex and unorthodox Milieu, Dan Dari, she is still able to use it in multiple situations despite it's aforementioned complicated rules. his was shown in almost all her fights, using her observative nature and her adaptiveness to the environment in conjunction with the Milieu she absorbed from the inanimates.
To prevent suspicions, she dons a relatively polite demeanor and is considerate of people's opinions. But being lonely, she considerably places family and friends in high regard, albeit she never desires to have one herself. However, Maeleach is straight to the point and hardly circles around the subject when it comes to her goals. Case in point, she demonstrates this when she was asked by a researcher being suspicious about her- asking if she is the culprit, responding with a clear and sincere "Yes" to them.
Growing up, Maeleach has developed antisocial qualities as a result of her entire life being shrouded in complete loneliness. While she's able to behave in a casual, upbeat manner, this demeanor is only hiding the nihilistic side of her. This is always shown whenever she is reflecting on her thoughts, contradicting her goal and asking herself is any of this was worth the effort. She states that loneliness is present everywhere, saying that people always alone, even as they die. When asked about her intention for being good or evil, she brushes it off, saying that she never knew them because of said loneliness. No one was able to teach her right or wrong, nor was she taught about morals in the first place. Because of this, it enhances her introverted nature and her knack of over-analyzing others, resulting in her immense deductive skills but also making her a relatively silent person. However at times of tranquil, Maeleach is shown to be more vulnerable and only in these moments does she allow herself to be more human and think about something else other than her goal. This was shown when she was buying fortune cookies to eat and when she was reading thru articles in the facility.
Despite all this, Maeleach also has a certain number of weird quirks. She seems to be totally oblivious when it comes to mundane things while at the same time retaining in-depth knowledge about electric fans and train stations. She also has an obsession with fortune cookies and has fear of lamps, which is also tied to her most defining characteristic. For example, she was shown to place fortune cookies at people who died, such as Hisui, The Walls, and Train Tracks, stating that the cookie never crumbles to anyone but those who eat it.

The Fortune Cookie[]
This was developed after she ate a fortune cookie and repeatedly got the phrase "Find Yourself". She explained that the cookie itself represents the 'lie' while the paper on the inside is the 'truth'. However, she stated that her paper has no writing on it, trying to find the ink to write what her purpose is. Throughout her story, this principle is used in almost any situation, albeit subtly to the point it is negligible. In those moments, she is always willing to put herself in a dangerous spot just to gain leverage over her enemy. This is due to the danger being the truth, and that not all people could see it, stating that only those willing to find the truth, would eventually do so.
The Train Tracks[]
Another part of her philosophy is the Train Tracks Principle. She explains that people have their track in life and that one must build their path to forge their way into whatever goal they have. However, she states that she doesn't have a track herself, finding any road for her ride upon, and only joins in with other tracks, acting as if she had one. Maeleach explicitly stated this against The Walls and the Train Tracks, saying that they do not have a purpose just like her.
After finding the Toenail, she quickly came to realize that she truly had no purpose, saying that no matter what she does and no matter how hard she tries, everything is simply temporary. This nihilistic view grew on her as years pass by, being completely numb to food and slowly losing her demeanor, beginning to show her true colors. However, her determination to find herself is not far from over, as she still actively attempts to find it even up to this day.
The Lamp[]
The last and final philosophy is the lamp. She explains that everyone has a lamp and the battery showing how much time they have left, and that once they ran out and the light turns off, it means that they'll die no matter what situation they are in. This nihilistic approach reaches it peak when acquiring the Toenail, saying if anything was worth the trouble for this and began asking herself if anything she had done was even worth at all. However, this sparked the determination in her to find her real and true purpose, seeking fulfillment in her life. In a sense, this would be akin to shining a light towards the bleak and murky darkness.
Post Evolution/End of Series[]
At the end of her story, she now lives by a philosophy that "doing things even if they might disappear one day is what gives life meaning". Though her other remaining personality still remains, Maeleach has developed her personality and had matured over the years. Never Be Mine's ability symbolizes this, obtaining something temporary, only for that thing to disappear into the dark pits of the void. To Maeleach, everything is temporal, all the joy and all the pain, they don't last forever; a philosophy that allowed her to went past her nihilistic approach, albeit slightly. Maeleach still retains her quirky and eccentric nature and the philosophies she had developed over the story, but her maturity has greatly enhanced this, that it was directly incorporated into her well-being. In time, she slowly began to empathize and even understand other people's emotions and morals, although her inability to properly interact with anyone still remains, mostly due to her weird rantings which have increased over time.
Whenever she fights, Maeleach now approaches them much more coldly and methodically, outsmarting her enemies much more efficiently than before. Just like before, Maeleach carefully analyzes the situation before acting, with her newfound powers making it all the more harder for the enemy to even get a chance on her. Even at high-intensity situations, she remains patient, carefully planning and scheming like usual and now uses a very powerful and instantaneous attack, making her the worst enemy one can face in any battle she is a part off, partly due to her Milieu's insane ability and her immense intelligence that has gone even higher and surpasses the intelligence she initially had prior to her evolution.
Post La Muerte[]
The road is endless, but that is how the beauty is. There is no beginning or end, as everything and everyone in this world is a temporary madness. You are free, but are you happy? Where can you go from here?—La Muerte
At the end of her fight with La Muerte, she understood what death truly is and came to accept her past, concluding that it will never go back. Once again, she was left at a dead end. She had been tortured to the point of breaking and knew that she would never be in a state of peace again. She knows now that she is a part of a violent world that leaves her to the solitude of loneliness, refusing to even accept any comforting words. In this eternal struggle, she finds it slowly being unfulfilling and sad but must keep going and hide all the pain. Deep down, she is a tortured soul, forced to find something that wasn't even there, yet she still insists and keeps on going, straddling down the path of madness. She fully accepts all of this, but now wonders what would she do once everything is over, her nihilistic approach beginning to overtake her. She only wants to find a way to end her pain, but that can never happen. Every time she tries to save someone, she only sets herself up for more punishment. If she could truly find that purpose, even for a short time, it would give her a goal to take in all of the pain, hoping that it finds a purpose in this destructive journey. And to this very day, she still struggles to find the feeling of peace that she always desires, as her only respite comes from this gloomy and angry world, never able to find the true happiness that she was yearning for.
This goal of looking for her purpose and having no friends nor any relationships has indeed secured her fate for absolute solitude, proving La Muerte right and technically "won" over Maeleach. Furthermore, despite her maturity over the years, it doesn't hide the trauma she induced upon the people. For instance, most citizens were scared to go out of their homes. and some operators acting as the new Poets just to comfort the survivors, both ultimately questioning her morality and whether or not she is good or evil. In this brutal expanse of nothingness, which is about to reach its final stage, Maeleach holds no illusion of the absolute truth, knowing what she had done over years yet cannot bring herself to apologize.
Thus, she became a train operator and did good things for the citizens, ironically being both the hero and villain. Although she undoubtedly knows that her actions could never be redeemed, she futilely tries to help them as much as she can, going as far as to tell them about her philosophies and her experiences in life. Her presence may be considered a big deal and attracts a lot of attention, but she does not ask for anyone's pity. This "could be" her purpose, to look out for the rest of the survivors and guide them through their issues, hoping to keep them together, never allowing anyone to slip away from each other. However, in doing so, she may be neglecting the things she has endured and just having more of a selfish cause than a noble one.

However, in a way, it's a form of redemption that she utterly deserves. Though it would or wouldn't be pointless in the end, she is fine with either of them. Seeing as how things will inevitably come to pass, it's important to still keep yearning for that one sliver of hope even if it isn't there. Because, to her, that is the reason why we live. This perfectly represents her Cookie Philosophy, as it shows how one must not stop at one point and must continue to keep moving.
Post Dubiety[]
The plot unravels, revealing the extent of Maeleach's internal damage stemming from the actions she had taken and the resulting consequences. Her remorse is palpable, as she laments every decision she made. Her constant repetition about finding her purpose, coupled with her loneliness, suggests that she developed a coping mechanism unconsciously - the Toenail - as a way to avoid losing her mind.
The trauma from her past has taken a massive toll on her, both in body language and in speech. Having practically none of the confidence she had before and is constantly seen with an expressionless face. She openly admits to a kid that she still hasn't gotten over her tragic past. Despite this, however, Maeleach believes that it is not too late to change for the better and that one must keep pursuing their dreams.
As an individual, Mealeach is much more open to people than before, albeit still retaining some semblance of her old personality. With a close-knit bunch of pals whom she lovingly refers to as her "family", she longs to strengthen their ties and ensure that no one else is ever made to feel like an outsider, all the while fulfilling her aspiration and becoming an esteemed member of the Mijukaku.

Grandfather's Toenail[]
Though she used the item as an excuse to kill people, she truly meant her goal from the start and never holds back on anything just to get it. However, once she had acquired the thing, she questions herself, thinking and asking what would be next after all that she had done.
In truth, she was delusional and hypocritical about her actions. She only thought of the Toenail and no one else but it, not giving a single care about the people she had killed.
Admittedly, she realized these wrongdoings at the end, when everything was already too late for her to change. But even so, this didn't stop her from finding her purpose.

Maeleach as a character embodies the concept of loneliness and the journey of finding one's own purpose. This is always shown throughout the story as she wanders alone, as if the others are simply walking dolls of flesh, passing her at she treads the ocean of strangers. It is the essence of being lonely that defines her character, but also contradicts it; as shown when she was questioning her own goals as to what she had prior to obtaining the Toenail.
However, this anti-nihilistic approach tends to overtake her loneliness as she actively seeks her own purpose, finding no meaning in everything except for the future, that which is still unknown and could change based on the choices she makes. It is often thought of as the inevitability and futility of life, but for Maeleach, she is determined to seek her own self, even if her fate is already written.
She symbolizes humanity's struggle to find company amidst the time we are in. We tend to cope by chatting with strangers, or talking to other people online, not knowing that we may never meet them in real life. Which transitions to the next topic about her philosophy, that being the concept of solipsism.

At the near end of her story, she tries to ask herself if anything is worth at all. The futility of her actions as she approaches the end of her goal is represented in the form of the table and a box containing the nail. As she opens it, the beautiful blue skies turned into rain, showing the emotions she's feeling at that moment. Realizing that all she had gone through just to find nothing is heartbreaking, knowing that you've worked hard for something for so long and only to come to a conclusion of insignificance is more than enough reason for her to feel that way.
Her powers show this too, in the form of her Milieu, Dan Dari. Requiring a 'room' and needing to be present inside the room symbolizes her lack of belonging, a feeling of dismemberment and detachment from society, living in other people's heads rent-free. Throughout her story, she is shown struggling to fight the enemies, sometimes coming out barely alive. Devoid of any purpose in life, Maeleach finds herself seeking the very meaning of her existence, and fights not for a thing, but for herself.
When all is said and done, Maeleach personifies the meaning of self-discovery and tenaciousness. Through all of her struggles and hardships, she has never once gave up on achieving her goals even in the most impossible of situations. Indeed, Maeleach is the very embodiment of courage and hope, finding something amidst the futility of it all, having the hope to keep moving and the courage to continue persevering.
Moral Compass[]
Maeleach's moral compass is another thing that symbolizes her character. Throughout her story, we readers question whether or not her intentions were good or evil, not knowing that she herself does not know it or isn't aware of it until the very end. She isn't necessary evil because she was simply killing out of self defense and never takes joy in doing such things, but she isn't good either considering her actions and her way of doing things were more or less cruel. It's the misconception laid out that she "seems" evil because of her wrongdoings, but to her perspective, she never knew what good or evil is.
At the end of her story, this is where she truly realizes her misbehavior and admits that what she had done is utterly evil amongst the eyes of all people around her. It's this realization that crushed her ambition, but was reborn into a stronger one, akin to that of gold being heated to be purified.
But as she is finding her purpose, so too will she find her morality.

When death comes, it is the end, the end of that person.

It's an interesting one to ponder because when death is done, everyone moves on. You see it on every television program, every newspaper, and every story. A celebrity passes and everyone goes grieves in their own way. The news covers it, and the readers comment about it, but it is done. The story is not about who they were, but about who they are.
They are gone.
There is no mourning.
No celebration.
No ending.
No questions.
All that remains are the memories. But those memories do not die, they live on.
For as long as people remember, they will also celebrate, and they will mourn. They will never be forgotten.
But what happens when people only remembered you for all the evil you've caused?
What happens when people only remembered you for the 'bad' that you did? What happens when you are hated by everyone? What happens when they only remember you for the scars you left behind? What happens when they only remember you for the harm you did?
For Maeleach it's a haunting and dreadful reminder that death is always there, in the back of her head, waiting for the right time. It haunts her wherever she goes, and slowly made her numb towards the pain she felt during the fights she had. To her, everything is temporal; all the joy and all the pain, they don't last forever. It's the existential crisis that she is going through that somewhat contradicts her goal, realizing how will she be remembered if she die.
Even at the end of her story, she still upholds this concept to her character, albeit slightly changed. To her, even if she knows that it will all be over, she continues finding her purpose and doing the best that she possibly can with the time she have left.

Intelligence: Extraordinary Genius. An extremely intelligent person, having invented numerous creations within a very short time span and a massive lack of available equipment. Aside from her incredible intellect, she also created her own fighting style, consisting of electric fans and the use of impractical tools to be used in her advantage. She is also a master of deception and strategy, constantly prepared for virtually any scenario she can come up with, given the variables around her and even predicted the future of all her enemies' attacks and had trapped multiple enemies despite her insanely complex and hard-to-use Milieu. Maeleach also has an outstanding amount of ingenuity, using her Milieu to its fullest potential, turning something that would seem complex and weak on paper into an extremely dangerous, lethal and versatile power, making use of it in a wide variety of ways both in and outside of battle. She is extremely analytical, shown time and time again to figure out her opponent's weaknesses and how to exploit them. Maeleach always approaches things in a calm and methodical manner and is always observant to her surroundings and environment. She can make deductions in a short time, and even detect traps or any strange occurrences that should be given attention to even at intense situations that would otherwise cause panic towards anyone who is in the position she is in. She always does this mid-combat to set up traps in any possible location the enemy may or may not appear in, watching from a far if need be. Even the Poets, who are capable of creating technology in the dark eras of their universe, which is notably surrounded by black holes, are impressed by her intellect. Even at a losing position, she always finds a way to win against stronger opponents, having trapped and outsmarted about a hundred million Advertisers. Furthermore, she is not afraid to use underhanded tactics just to gain a tactical advantage and even declares her victory right in front of them. | Supergenius. Standard Tactics: Maeleach always tries to deceive and mislead her opponents by any means necessary. She then instantaneously analyze them and pays attention to every small detail to accurately formulate a plan, or even predict their future actions based on the given variables. Maeleach makes use of everything available to her surroundings in order to catch her opponents off guard, using any tool available at her disposal. In conjunction with her Milieus and her equipment, she creates multiple backup and contingency plans. with some intending to be caught before it goes off, giving the enemy a false sense of security- thinking that they've won. Against any opponents, Maeleach has absolutely no problem fighting dirty and never hesitates to run away if all else fails, deducing her enemies' powers prior to her retreat and comes back to perform a counter to it. Not only that, she follows the principle "Improve. Adapt. Overcome", always adapting to her surroundings and developing a counter strategy against any type of opponent, including weaker ones. Dan Dari: A formless type Milieu gained from her extreme eccentric personality and a way to isolate herself in a room. It allows her manipulate the temperature of a room, but with multiple and complex set of rules:
Holder Aprons: An inanimate Milieu tool used by Hisui and was later stolen by Maeleach, it allows her to manipulate and create clippers to lock something and/or seal something in a specific spot, allowing her to pin her enemies down whilst thinking of a plan to defeat them. This could also be used to plug up wounds, close up any fatal injury, and even lock things that are physical forces like pressure. After her evolution, it allows her lock things that are metaphysical like concepts. This could range from locking space-time, locking one's immortality to prevent them from regenerating, locking one's power to prevent them from being stronger, locking one's resistances to prevent them from tanking her attacks, and even lock her life in place which prevents death from ever "reaching" her as it is "locked" in place. Burning Wax: Another inanimate Milieu gained from defeating and absorbing the Candles. It allows her to manipulate and create wax, ranging from creating simple walls, ventilation systems and makeshift body parts to complex clones that looks identical to her and even secrete paraffin wax, which, when combined with her explosions, allows Maeleach to destroy the entirety of Warm Tundra and even threatened to destroy the whole Py'zhics facility if not for the Poets striking her a deal. After her evolution, it allows her to create candles that determine one's own life and death, granting her full control over the "threads of fate", and blowing said candle, she can blot away anything in her path, making them seemingly disappear from existence. Ebbinghaus Delbouef: An inanimate Milieu gained from Train Tracks that allows her to create rings, which is based on the Ebbinghaus and Delbouef Illusion. This allows her to manipulate the size of anything through this ring, and goes as far as to heal injuries by shrinking the wound and plugging it together or even increase the size of her bombs to further boost its overall destructive capacity. Though this was never shown, things and entities that are shrunken down to the absolute limit, ceases to exist as said entity reaches a certain point called the "Schwarzschild Radius"- a point where said entity/object becomes even smaller, it creates a black hole which then removes their existence thanks to the "Information Paradox". After her evolution, the rings now allow her to control distances, granting her the ability to bypass and/or ignore the concept of distance, allowing her to move beyond linear time. Thales's Theorem: An inanimate Milieu gained from The Walls, which allows her to manipulate angles and/or vectors thru the use of her protractors and rulers. This allows her to augment her strength and speed ad infinitum, control the wind through the vectors surrounding her, manipulate the body of others, grant flight, increase her analysis through the vectors surrounding her, redirect and deflect any attack, manipulate the physical forces such as gravity, create weapons out of vectors that are invisible and can cut an enemy to shreds, and manipulate the pressure waves to create fissures. After her evolution, this allows her to manipulate mathematics as a whole, controlling the very concept of infinity to her whim. Cartesian Diver: A Milieu gained from all the Advertisers she has killed, it grants her the ability to manipulate and control glass. The applications of this ability can range from: creating mirrors to deflect light and produce illusions, become invisible by reflecting of the light bouncing from her, and create weapons out of glass. Although this was generally weak and is overshadowed by her other Milieus, the fact that she has absorbed over a hundred million Advertisers, increases the strength of this Milieu exponentially, going as far as to trap Boloid and prevented it from escaping. After her evolution, it now grants her the power to control mirrors and allow her to deflect any projectiles, though this was covered by Thales but could be used in conjunction with the latter to further increase her deflecting capabilities. Boloid: An inanimate she absorbed, with a Milieu that allows her to control Hyperboloids. Though the applications of this ability are vague, it allows her to create holes and grants her the ability to "twist" things, controlling all kinds deformities. This also allows her to control the rotation of anything comes in contact with, though she never performed this feat except of Boloid, and since the Milieu she absorbed is much more stronger, it is undoubtedly possible for her to perform this feat as well. After her evolution, it increases the strength of her Milieu exponentially, allowing her to manipulate dimensions.

- Never Be Mine's Nonexistent Physiology contains all types for multiple reasons. Notably, it removes her very being ideally and paradoxically. This is because of her ascension above concepts, her being removed ideally, and her paradoxically existing yet not existing simultaneously. This also removes her history and the timelines she is involved in. It symbolizes her not belonging to anything, meaning that any binary concept you can think of, she doesn't belong to.
- Dan Dari still exist in Maeleach's arsenal but was never used in her fight against La Muerte. Though she was planning to use it, she had it as a backup plan and after finding out that the enemy is weaker than her, she finds it unnecessary to use. Had she used it, however, the result would remain the same.
Creation and Development[]
Maeleach's character is created with the concept of loneliness in mind. In the first months of creation, Maeleach is originally intended to just have Dan Dari and have the longest name as a running gag made by his peers. Personality-wise, Maeleach was more weirder, such as having necrophilia and a weird infatuation towards multiple specific things.
According to the author, it took him a week of prcrastination to conceive Maeleach as the compelling character we now know today, but upon coming up with the character's current overall aesthetic, he knew he hit the spot.
Author's Note:
For me, creating her character is what made me so attached to her as a whole. Compared to other characters, the idea of loneliness sticks out to me and I wanted to make it relatable to the readers as a whole. It's true that people die alone, and it shows just how distant we are compared to what we think we seem to be. We assume that we are close to our friends, family, and loved ones. when, in reality, we have secrets that we don't want them to know and want to keep it only to ourselves. This, too, applies to death as whenever someone dies, we do not know where they'll go. We could theorize if we want, but we would never know until we've experienced it.
Another thing I liked about making this character is the way she uses the complex abilities throughout the story. I initially wanted her to have a power that can erase people, which is akin to the concept of loneliness, but I decided to scrap that idea and gave her an extremely complicated one, which would result in very strange and bizarre fight scenes that would honestly look funny and stupid when it's showed out-of-context, which is also funny given the name and the basic premise of the novel.

- Why did Maeleach not use the rest of her powers against the Poets?
- The reason behind why she never used all of her powers is due to her current speed and power being far enough to stop the Poets, as they admitted their defeat in her before the fight even started. But had there been a scenario where they pulled something unknown, she would've used it by then, but since they have sincerity in their words, she figured to defeat them by outsmarting as that is her way of defeating opponents and not just overpowering them. Besides that, most of her abilities are often overshadowed by other abilities that are either superior to them and are too specific that it belongs in the applicated abilities that the latter would have over the former.
- Why are some of the Milieus she absorbed are far stronger than the original owner?
- That is because of the absorption technique that she has. By absorbing a Milieu into herself, said Milieu not only gets stronger but its ability as well.
- How come she could absorb Milieus while the other Wielders can't?
- For that, you can check the Milieu Backdrop page or just read the whole story for yourself. To give you a summary, Milieus are gained and are changed based on the Wielder's background, philosophy, and the amount of "courage" they have. But if there's a scenario where said Wielder has no idea of what their background is and solely about finding themselves throughout their journey, then and only then will they gain the ability to absorb Milieus. As explained by one of the Poets: "There was one rule that a Wielder could have one Milieu, with notable exceptions such as Evolved or Reoccurrences. The reason behind this is quite easy and obvious, is was that Wielders only have "one" story or background instead of "many", not unless one has a multiple personality disorder or if they do not have any purpose at all, relying on other Milieus to fill that emptiness."
- What's with the long names?
- It's part of the trademark of Maeleach, from her name to her ability. I wanted to add it since it's interesting to see how a character can use a seemingly complex and complicated ability against a stronger opponent, outsmarting them and defeating them just as easily.
- Why did you put the story here? Can't you delete some unimportant parts? It's soooo boring to read
- Well, I didn't just placed the story for absolutely no reason. It shows the subtleties behind Maeleach's character through simple dialogue. In fact, I can even make these subtle scenes much more in-depth.
- Did you do this out of spite? Out of competition? You do know that this fandom is not for competing with other people and I hate you for that, Backbackback.
- I never had the intention to compete with other people, I just like making weird stuff. I just so happen to have a long name and a long list of abilities that I like to create. In all honesty, the competition for the longest page is just a joke, why would people even make the category? Right? I meant the competition as a joke, but not the character. If you are reading this and you think that I'm competing with other people, then you're getting things mixed up. I never had the intention to compete, I'm just minding my own business here and nobody else.
- Is Maeleach a Mary Stu?
- No, she isn't. Probably most people 'would' view her as a Mary Stu, but that's not the way it is. She does struggle and have to use her complex Milieu a lot of times, she nearly died in almost all occasions. It's just that now she is strong enough to beat almost anyone she comes in contact with.
- Does Maeleach have any sexual desires? Or any love interest?
- Not really. Her loneliness never made her to have any sexual desires nor does she know about them. I guess her pursuit of purpose is much more important than those, and even finds them insignificant.
- Is Maeleach an 'edgelord'? Why does she have this dark philosophical view? Why are her enemies so one-sided? It doesn't even have a coherent plot and it's kinda cringe bro.
- To further understand her character, I suggest watching these videos (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8), as these are the ones that inspired me into making this character. Her "edginess" is a huge misunderstanding, due to so many circumstances that have led her into what she is today. First, is her birth, to which she was raised without any proper education due to her foster mother shortly passing away. Second, is her journey throughout life, after receiving the note given from her 'real' mother, she sets out on a path to find it, but is unfortunately stranded in the train station -or to be more precise, stuck within the expanse of nothingness. As she tries to find a way out, she gets into trouble, but excuses that she "does not know about good or evil", having not known them since childhood.
- The enemies she encountered, albeit not exemplified further, represent us- the readers- as we question why she did all these things. As we look into her story and plot, it does not get darker but more so existential, as we get to see how loneliness affects one's life. It's tragic, terrifying, and saddening to see an innocent girl turn into this lost wanderer, considered to be a serial killer, and her moral compass left in the in-between. In her defense, she was never pursuing an enemy to "kill" them, but rather, wants to find the Toenail and have a job. She never desired to kill anyone but only fights someone out of "self-defense", a word whose meaning gets lost as we look further into her story. From her perspective, she had no other purpose but to find that, having no friends due to her poor status, further nailing that fact by her title as "The Culprit". Even at the end of the series, up against La Muerte, we get to experience how much she has changed, and given the nature of the Milieu representing one's own "projection" (Inspired by this video), Maeleach has become the embodiment of loneliness.
- To give a brief rundown of her enemies let's look at each one: Hisui, Noto, and Shed - these guys represent how a normal human would act and question her actions and motives; the Candle Wax and Armors represent the consequences of her actions; The Walls and Train Tracks represent the purposelessness reflected into sentient objects; and finally, The Poets and la Muerte representing her morality, whether she is right or wrong. All of these added up, coupled with her self-realization, make her a very compelling character. The music involving her character symbolizes this, music related to The Caretaker, Aphex Twins, and so much more, all show the dreadfulness in her character. A sense of longing and finding one's purpose is what Maeleach boils down to, and it is that struggle, the futility of life, and the way we give it meaning, is that makes her such an enthralling character.
