Lasavene Afnir is a character from Sahirs Showdown. He is a Caliber 1 Sahir who hails from the Afnir Clan, which is based in Wanapia.
Synopsis[]
Early Life[]
Lasavene was born on January 2, 1987, in Wanapia. He was born into a junior branch of the Afnir Clan. He is the great-grandson of Hevisene Afnir (b. 1875 d. 1937), Clan Head from 1906 to 1937. His parents and grandparents were not gifted in Affray and could not become Sahirs. His birth, potency in Affray, and inheritance of the Clan's Inherited Art subsequently improved his family's standing within the rest of the Clan, as they provided a capable Sahir to the Clan for the first time in nearly a century, which was a dream for his family, as Lasav in his name Lasavene implies, meaning Dream.
Clan Training[]
Children gifted with Affray affinity born in the Afnir Clan are trained immediately upon passing Aspersion, which is done as early as it can be. Lasavene passed it at the age of 12 in 1999 and spent the next four years training in Clan Headquarters among other children of the Clan until 2003 when he was formally enrolled into a GLS Academy in Wanapia.
Academy and Unit[]
Lasavene completed his training at the Academy in Wanapia and was sent to GLS (Global League of Sahirs) in Eirenia in 2004. It was already customary in the Afnir Clan to send the firstborn Sahir children far away from home for training. He soon joined Unit Lindsay along with two other new Sahirs like him, led by Lindsay Lileas as Supervisor.
Solo Career[]
Lasavene left the Unit in 2006 when he became a Caliber 2 Sahir, with the blessing of Lindsay. He continued to work in Eirenia and became a supervisor in 2008, leading Unit Lasavene until 2011. In 2012, he became a Caliber 1 Sahir.
Lasavene's main goal is to continue raising his family's position within the Afnir Clan and eventually become the Clan Head. This is known by the family of the current Clan Head, who, as expected, perceive Lasavene and his family as significant political rivals. This is one of the reasons for Lasavene being away from Wanapia, as he believes there is a chance his presence in Wanapia might endanger both him and his family. He aims to further improve himself, improve his relations with other prominent Sahirs as well as other families, and eventually maneuver his position to press his claim for Clan Head. He aims to achieve all of this by the time the current Clan Head dies, as that creates a brief period of power vacuum which allows people like him to press their claim and succeed as the next Clan Head.

This extends to Disciples, many of whom just passed Aspersion and entered training within an Academy. Within their training at the Academy, which typically lasts between six months and two years, they are capable of picking up and mastering several different martial arts that involve both grappling and striking in a few months. Upon completing their training, Sahirs become far greater martial artists than any ordinary human, even when intentionally limiting their strength. Similarly, they master the usage of various melee weapons including but not limited to swords, spears, pikes, and Spears, in a few months and utilizing them better than any ordinary human by six months to two years. All Sahirs are capable of this upon graduation and are given the Caliber 5 rank. Standard Tactics: Lasavene likes to grapple his opponents but his early moves are generally Acid Arrow and Consecutive Acid Arrows, he is less likely to open distance and wrestle if he thinks the target is not exceptionally dangerous in close range.
Weaknesses: If he runs out of stock, he has to use his own body for acid Arts, which causes him to lose body parts and thus get weaker. Needs to make hand signs to use his Arts.

- Consecutive Acid Arrows: Derivation Art where Lasavene uses up to 10 fingers from the stock and morphs all of them into arrows, allowing him to shoot 50 arrows instantly.
