LalaStuffYeah
I get it, you're upset! I don't know what exactly happened to you all and I never will, therefore I can't really understand the resentment you might feel. I'm not saying the way you feel isn't justified, it's just there's better ways to go about it. Yes—If I was in your shoes, in your situation, I'd be incredibly upset, forced to live a life like that regardless of who's doing it isn't okay, it's an awful thing.

Even so, there's a lot of other ways to go about it other than mindlessly killing and hurting people, not caring about others emotions and doing what you want just because you're mad, you see it as you guys being oppressed, which gives you the right to do all this and more, you aren't above consequences because of that, this is not okay. This doesn't justify murder, killing a whole race, that's unfair and senseless!

Not even all the humans are guilty of this, and even then...killing just isn't right. I'd take a revolution, sure, but not in this way. Either way it goes, you guys are still definitely in the wrong here!

Can you really look at all this, what you did to Lola, Joule, Gunvolt, and Copen, killing all humans and looking back....to just think all of that was okay? To pat yourself on the back and say you did great, only leaving what your image of the superior world is? That isn't fair, don't go forcing your damn ideals onto people—!"

~ Lala to Asroc on his ideals

Summary[]

«Lala» (ララ) is a character that originates from the Sword Art Online: Reincarnation Tabletop game. She was one of the 10,000 players who were trapped in «Sword Art Online», as well as one of the lucky 1,000 players in the Sword Art Online beta test that lasted for a month. In SAO she acted as a Clearer/Swordswoman, fighting on the frontlines. On one specific day in Sword Art Online though, she was pulled from SAO and sent to Japan, specifically in Akihabara in the year of 2019; the Real World. There is where she would met Rin Tohsaka from the Fate/ Series, and that's where her adventures in "Adrift" began.

Combat Statistics[]

Tier: 9-A | 8-B | High 7-C

Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Accelerated Development (Leveling; Physical Stats, Abilities. The more established a Character is in the world, the more they gain "Influence", and Influence is what allows for a Character to get stronger and develop new abilities), Dimensional Storage (via her Menu), Power Mimicry (via her Menu. Gains Skills, and by extension Abilities, of Characters she has seen before, even through something as simple as seeing it in an anime episode. However, she must usually level said Skill to get it to a more practical state), Skilled Swordswoman (Created the Lazy Style before abandoning it, fought in the SAO Beta Test for a month, getting accustomed to three different types of weapons and fighting other players and monsters, but never got into an actual life or death fight until SAO. Fought for a Month in SAO before being sent to Adrift, where she fought more skilled opponents), Regeneration (Mid-Low over time. Was able to completely heal from getting punctured by thousands of needle-sized projectiles in a matter of hours), Analytical Prediction (via Lazy Style), Statistics Amplification (via «Ancient Rune of the Alliance: Wave», and Masochistic Adrenaline. The Ancient Rune of the Alliance: Wave shortens Post-Motion and Cooldown time of Sword Skills and increases the amount of damage dealt after every consecutive hit within 5 seconds by +20%. Masochistic Adrenaline are brass knuckles that increase the user's damage and armor the more they get hit. All attacks also have either a low chance of critically hitting the opponent (though the chances are increased via Snowy) or hitting a weak point to critically hit them, dealing even more damage. The two forms of critical hits can stack), Statistics Amplification and Statistics Reduction (To themselves via Influence. Depending on how a Character is perceived by an audience, or would be perceived by an audience, they can either become stronger or become weaker in a moment. For example, if an audience would root for a certain Character from a storytelling standpoint, such as a protagonist-type Character losing to an antagonist-type Character in a stomp, said Character can gain the power and speed to match their enemy's. This would also of course work vice versa. There is no need for an audience, though it would boost the effects of the amplification or reduction.)

Damage Transferal (Can redirect the damage she takes towards her weapon instead of herself), , Statistics Amplification (via Sword Skills, which amplify the user's speed and power, with the downside of having a post-motion stun for a brief period of time afterwards), Shockwaves (via Sword Skills. Her strongest attacks were able to send meters long shockwaves outwards), Statistics Reduction (via continuous powerful attacks, such as multi-hit Sword Skills or various critical hits. Slows down the enemy's movement speed), Status Effect Inducement (via Sword Skills. If one can directly land a Sword Skill on an opponent towards a vital point such as the head, the opponent will be stunned for upwards of 10 seconds),

Elemental Manipulation (Fire, Water, Ice, Light, Metal, Darkness, and Crystal. Via Sacred Arts, which allow her to control all of the aforementioned elements. She can also combine these elements and imbue elements into her weapons and attacks), Attack Reflection and Shield Creation (via Sacred Arts, Can create a mirror or shield that can reflect attacks), Magic & Creation (via Sacred Arts. Can create a spell or an object for almost any situation, so long as she knows the words used to arrange her thoughts, guide her emotions, and fuel her imagination to create said spell or object), Status Effect Inducement (Via Darkness element she can inflict stuns.), Water Manipulation (Can manipulate and create water, able to trap her foes in water bubbles and water iron maidens to restrain them and drown them.), Air Manipulation (Able to control wind to boost her speed and use in conjuction with other elements), Heat Manipulation(via Sacred Arts), Healing (via Sacred Arts), Homing Attack (via Sacred Arts. Can make her Sacred Arts home in on enemies), Danmaku, Explosion Manipulation (Can cause small explosions with Sacred Arts),

Healing (Accelerating recovery via Recovery Potions over a period of 5 minutes), Status Effect Inducement Nullification (via Antidote Potions. Only works against debuffs on Lala's power or below), Poison Manipulation (via Level 1 Poison Splash Potions)

Ki Manipulation (Can be used defensively and offensively, to strengthen her skin or to fire ki blasts, which can home in on targets, and form defensive barriers, Ki Sensing (Can locate others by reading their ki, detect malicious intent, difference in power levels, and beings in different dimensions), Natural Weaponry (via Tail. Lala can use her Tail in combat, being shown to defend, grapple, and attack.), Enhanced Senses (Saiyans have exceptional senses, allowing Lala to locate small, distant objects by tracking their smell, see clearly over long distances, and track the movements of others even in pitch black conditions by feeling vibrations in the air),Acrobatics, Flight, Accelerated Development (Training; Physical Stats, Abilities), Reactive Power Level (As a Saiyan, Lala grows stronger every time she fights and can become stronger in the midst of combat, vastly increasing in strength whenever she is mortally injured), Afterimage Creation, Light Manipulation (Can create flashes of light via Solar flare to blind opponents and Super Saiyan forms can glow in pitch-black conditions), Shockwaves Generation (Can create powerful shockwaves via Kiai), Teleportation, Dimensional Travel, BFR, Rage Power, High Pain Tolerance, Transformation (Can transform into a Super Saiyan, increasing her capabilities drastically. Not only this but via her tail she is able to transform into an Oozaru), Fusionism (Able to fuse into Lalisa)

Enhanced Attack Reflection and Durability Negation (With Masochistic Adrenaline, she can automatically reflect all attacks back to the opponent. With Release Recollection, she can automatically inflict damage out in an AOE shockwave to opponents. If the opponent has low durability it has a chance to instantly kill), Enhanced Statistics Amplification (Via Snowy's Release Recollection and Enhance Armament, she can double her damage output and gain Super Armor), Precognition and Power Mimicry (With Anneal Blade, she can avoid attacks that she's seen before easier, being able to deal with it before it happens, giving her an advantage. If an opponent is dead or unconscious she can steal an ability from them via Release Recollection), Flight, Telekinesis (via Incarnate Arms. By imagining one's arm in a different location, one can freely interact with objects from a distance), Regeneration (Mid), Immortality (Types 2 and 3; Able to continue fighting as long as she believes in herself, no matter how many body parts of hers comes apart), Non-Physical Interaction (With Incarnations Lala was allowed to touch a non-physical sword of electricity from Gunvolt), Passive Reality Warping (via Incarnation. As with all VR avatars, especially in the Underworld, Incarnation grants all the ability to alter reality via their conscious and subconscious belief and willpower, and can be described as many people sharing a single dream, with greater control of Incarnation being likened to "lucid dreaming"). The primary applications of Incarnation are as follows: Empowerment, Statistics Amplification and Statistics Reduction (Belief in one's own strength will amplify one's own power, however the opposite can happen to the user as well if they are not confident in a matchup), Limited Law Manipulation (If enough people believe that something cannot happen, it will become impossible and vice versa), and Probability Manipulation (If an Incarnation user truly believes that they are weaker than their foe, even subconsciously, reality will be rewritten to ensure their defeat (and vice versa). If both sides are both completely confident in a battle, it will be a battle to see who's mental willpower is stronger than the other

Attack Potency: Small Building level (Destroyed Gran Torta, a massive mech whose upper body alone is this size), higher with Sword Skills | City Block level (Would likely be able to break free from Tenjian's ice, which at minimum was able to freeze over an entire city block to Absolute Zero in an instant), higher with Sword Skills and Release Recollection | Large Town level (Her "Offensive Stats" in the setting are superior to most of the cast and even most "Boss" Characters. Superior than the feat preformed by Chara and Omega Zero, comparable to Gunvolt), higher with SSJ, Release Recollection, and Sword Skills (Able to double her damage output, can increase further by transforming with SSJ and deal higher damage with Sword Skills)

Speed: Subsonic (Can move so quickly normal people wouldn't be able to see her move. Moved at such a speed where her perception of the world slowed down), higher with Sword Skills | Supersonic (Intercepted a sniper bullet. Can deflect automatic machine gun fire from a flying mech shooting at her from above), higher with Sword Skills | Massively Hypersonic+ (Comparable to Chisa. While she isn't as fast as Chisa, she can keep up and react to her. Not only this but she's faced people able to react to Chisa's attacks.)

Lifting Strength: Superhuman

Striking Strength: Small Building Class | City Block Class | Large Town Class

Durability: Wall level (Her Durability is way lower than her AP), Small Building level with Defensive Sword Skills (Allows her to take attacks on her level) | City Block level (Can take attacks from others who are on this level) | Large Town level normally (Can take attacks from others who are on this level), higher with a Defensive Sword Skill or Sacred Arts (Defensive Sword Skills can defend against Sword Skills on Lala's level. Can create elemental walls from Sacred Arts to protect her)

Stamina: Superhuman (Lala is able to fight for long periods of time, even when she is severely wounded, with bones broken and pierced all over, even falling into spikes, and etc.)

Range: Standard Melee Range when unarmed, Extended Melee Range with a sword, Several Meters with Dash-Type Sword Skills and Sacred Arts, Interdimensional with Incarnation

Standard Equipment:

  • Snowy: A sword that was crafted by Big Kahuna, better known as Rick. This is her primary weapon. It increases the chance of Critical Hits.
    • Type: One-Handed Straight Sword
  • Anneal Blade (Aneally): A family heirloom passed down from generation to generation. A true adventurer’s sword.
    • Type: One-Handed Straight Sword
  • Masochistic Adrenaline: Brass Knuckles that increase the user's damage and armor the more they get hit. "A bloodlusted warrior desired to be on the front lines of the battlefield. His lust for battle seeped into his brass knuckles, allowing him to continue fighting, even if he were to sustain grievous injuries. He sought more and more fights. Wherever he went, death followed."
    • Type: Brass Knuckles
  • Blue Basic Cloak: A generic cloak that can be bought on floor 1.
    • Type: Cloak
  • Level 1 Poison Splash Potions: A health potion that can be found or bought on various beginning floors.
    • Type: Splash Potion
  • Leather Coat: A jacket that’s been sitting in the shop for far too long.
    • Type: Coat
  • «Ancient Rune of the Alliance: Wave»: An ancient rune once created by a Yunier wizard lost to time. Its purpose is unknown. "I give this to you, Alliance of the Nine, for if this war destroys the world, there shall be hope in salvation." Shortens Post-Motion and Cooldown time of Sword Skills and increases the amount of damage dealt after every consecutive hit within 5 seconds by +20%.
    • Type: Misc

Intelligence: Lala is average academically, however when it comes to most things she is able to understand more than others. She spent most of her time on the internet and games, which gives her a rather mature mindset. She was even able to form and modify her own fighting style. She tends to overthink everything, which most of the times fails her but with this thinking she was able to solve dungeon puzzles. While still being a beginner, she is still a competent fighter.

Weaknesses:

  • A Character is dependent on how real humans perceive them. Thus, if people believe that she is weaker than she actually is, her Influence will lessen, and thus she will actually become weaker.
  • Because of Incarnation's passive nature based on the imagination and willpower of the individual, at worst, if the user thinks a situation is hopeless or impossible to succeed, Incarnation will instead have a negative effect and make that situation true.
  • Sword Skills have a slight post-motion stun at the end of them in exchange for increased power.
  • Lala tends to overthink everything, which holds her back most in most situations.
  • She is an extremely lazy and forgetful person.
  • Lala was previously very reckless and overconfident at points, not knowing her limits and putting other people in danger.
  • Lala can be weakened and put into intense pain if her tail is grabbed or removed
  • Most of the time, to activate Sacred Arts, the user must chant out the words required to activate it, however Lala in her last key does not need to. Sacred Arts require "spatial resources" to use, meaning that barren environments would lessen the effects of a Sacred Art.
  • Using Enhance Armament or Release Recollection drains the weapon's Durability, which can only be restored when sheathed for long periods of time.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Incarnation: A secret skill passed down by Integrity Knights since ancient times, and one of the most important concepts in the Sword Art Online franchise. Incarnation refers to the ability to change the state of the world through pure willpower and imagination. For any other virtual reality world, it is a system glitch, usually activated in times of extreme emotion or during extreme brain activity, allowing closer access to one's Fluctlight, or soul, to temporarily change the world around them. For residents of the Underworld, it is a constant passive that dictates whether they succeed or fail in anything. The more confident one is in their abilities and the more of a positive reputation they have, the more the world shall bend in their favor. It is the power which Sacred Arts derive from. Its effects are versatile, as the power has been used to wield invisible blades, create swords from the user's blood, transmute objects, increase the chances of an event happening, and much more. However, the power of an Incarnation ability can be matched by another Incarnation ability, and the use of Incarnation is mentally exhausting, requiring a lot of concentration and energy to perform. If the user is in a state where their will is not strong enough, they become unable to use Incarnation. There are a limited amount of people who can use Incarnation to its full potential, and much practice and experience are needed to be able to use it. This ability is most prominent in the Underworld, as this ability is one of that world's core mechanics. However this ability has also been shown multiple times throughout the series before the Alicization arc.
  • Sacred Arts: «Sacred Arts» are System Commands in Project Alicization that residents of Underworld believe to be magic rituals. In reality, they are just words used to arrange thoughts and guide the emotions of the caster to make use of one's Incarnation. Because of this, the imagination of the user may either improve or decrease the effectiveness of an art.
    • Perfect Weapon Control Art: The Perfect Weapon Control Art is a high-ranking Sacred Arts ritual that is used to boost the offensive power of a Divine Object-class weapon by linking with the true essence of the weapon. As all Divine Object-class weapons strongly inherit the properties of the object that served as its nucleus in the form of memories, the Perfect Weapon Control Art may be used to tap into the parameters inherited from the base material, thus increasing the power of the weapon in the form of special abilities. The ability acquired through the ritual depends solely on how the caster pictures the released form of the weapon. The first phase of the «Perfect Weapon Control Art», called the «strengthening» phase, is the partial awakening of the weapon's memories, which manifest as a new offensive ability for the weapon. The «Life» of the weapon decreases greatly every time the command is used and the power of the ritual is determined by the caster's ability to imagine the released form of the weapon. The second phase of the ritual, called the «releasing» phase, is a command that releases all of the memories of the weapon, unleashing all of its rampant power. Memories unleashed with this phase become uncontrollable to the caster and might even engulf the caster herself.

Outside System Skills (OuSS) are abilities, usually referred to as a skills, that either involves unconventional use of system-controlled skills, the exploitation of loopholes in the system, or the use of the player's human abilities to enhance their gameplay. Although such abilities are referred to as "skills", none are regulated by the system, though some involve making use of system skills in ways that were not intended by the developers of the game. These skills are developed through a player's capability in game and are acquired through experience and practice put in by the player themselves throughout playing time.

  • Switch - A technique where two players switch positions in-between an enemy's attack to recover Hit Points, chain attacks together without worrying about a post-motion delay, and/or burden the learning abilities of enemies AIs.
  • Sword Skill Boost - By letting the system take control of their body and help it instead of resisting it, the user can put their entire weight into the Sword Skill motion to make it stronger.
  • Lazy Style - Originally a fighting style she learned, modified. and abandoned 2 years ago due to being lazy, which is why it's still in development/practice. The style is one to predict with great precision, read ahead, analyze, and dodge/counterattack to match more skilled or stronger opponents, increasing reaction speed and precision. During training she modified it to fit her taste, a surprise aspect by adding laziness to the style which is why she dubbed it “Lazy is Skill”. It can even be used outside of combat, modifying it to fit her thinking and etc, making it not just a fighting style.

Sword Skills (SS) are a series of movements that allows the user to attack much faster than they normally could, but the movements required to perform the Sword Skill are fixed and cannot be canceled by the user after they begin performing it. They are essentially Sword Art Online's actives from any other game. The user will also be left in a short post-motion delay when the Sword Skill is finished. Contrary to their name, Sword Skills do not have to be used with a sword.

  • Embracer
    • Description: «Embracer» consists of a single thrust with one's hand deep into the body of the target, dealing a significant amount of damage. The skill is activated by straightening the fingers of one hand, bending it by the elbow and then drawing the arm backwards.
    • Number of Hits: 1
  • Senda
    • Description: «Senda» consists of a basic thrust with the user's hand, which projects out in a straight line, dealing an uppercut. «Senda» is the quickest of all Martial Arts skills. The skill is activated by clenching one's hand into a fist.

  • Horizontal
    • Description: «Horizontal» consists of a single horizontal slash that is carried out by first focusing the weight of the body on the right foot before moving the sword back slightly, then lifting one's left foot due to the inertial weight of the sword and shifting the weight to the left side of the body, thus converting the strength in the swinging motion inside the legs and waist from the hands to the tip of the waist into power for the sword swing.
    • Number of Hits: 1
  • Slant
    • Description: «Slant» consists of a single sharp forty-five degree diagonal slash. The only thing that Slant differs from other 1-hit skills like Vertical or Horizontal is that Slant has a slanted trajectory and it can attack in two directions: either from top-right to bottom-left or bottom-left to top-right, the latter being the same stance as drawing a sword from the waist, thus greatly decreasing the time required to activate the skill.
    • Number of Hits: 1
  • Vertical
    • Description: «Vertical» consists of a single slash from top to bottom. Although it is a beginner skill, it is much more powerful than a simple, non-system assisted, vertical swing with a sword.

Uppercut’s post-motion has the user holding their sword in the air at their right.
    • Number of Hits: 1
  • Sonic Leap
    • Description: A one-handed sword dash-type technique that consists of a single top to bottom vertical slash. Sonic Leap can be aimed towards the sky. • Number of Hits: 1
  • Spinning Shield
    • Description: «Spinning Shield» is a defensive Sword Skill, activated by dexterously using one's fingers to spin the sword twice, like twirling. As the skill is activated, the sword begins to spin like a windmill, with the user's fingers acting as the pivot. In a short amount of time, the sword reaches a speed that makes it invisible to the human eye, making it look like the sword has become a half-transparent shield of light.
    • Number of Hits: 1
  • Starry Slash
    • Description: An extremely quick downwards slash. The enemy will be immediately knocked back on-hit. Starry Slash’s pre-motion has the user positioning their blade upwards yet having the tip of the blade facing forward. Starry Slash’s post-motion has the user holding their sword down towards their pelvis section.
    • Number of Hits: 1
  • Vertical Arc
    • Description: A two-hit vertical slash. The first hit of «Vertical Arc» is a diagonal slash from top-left to bottom-middle. As the sword approaches the floor, the user quickly readjusts their wrist and performs another diagonal slash from bottom-middle to top-right. The combined trajectory of the two hits looks like the Latin letter "V".
    • Number of Hits: 2
  • Horizontal Arc
    • Description: A two-hit horizontal slash. «Horizontal Arc» begins with a horizontal swing from left to right. The user then flips their wrists and completes the skill with another horizontal swing in reversed path from right to left. The skill is activated by holding the sword at waist-height.
    • Number of Hits: 2
  • Snake Bite
    • Description: «Snake Bite» consists of two hits, one from left to right, immediately followed by a second hit from right to left. Due to the speed of the Sword Skill, the two hits appear as if done with two swords instead of just one, and only one sound of impact is released with the skill. This skill is activated by positioning oneself in a way that it looks like one is putting the sword at the left side of one's waist.
    • Number of Hits: 2
  • Sharp Nail
    • Description: A three-hit combo and is Lala's (currently) strongest Sword Skill. «Sharp Nail» begins with a diagonal slash from the bottom-right to top left, followed by a horizontal slash from left to right. Finally, the Sword Skill is ended with another diagonal slash from top-right to bottom-left.
    • Number of Hits: 3

  • Ki: The fighting power and life force of a martial artist, a tangible energy derived from the user's vigor, courage, and mind. It can be used in several ways, such as to surpass the limits of one's body to greatly increase in strength, and it can be fired as blasts of energy or used to create defensive barriers.

  • Kamehameha: Goku's famous signature technique, copied by Lala. There are several variations to be used, such as firing it from her feet, using it to propel herself into the air, and bending it mid-flight to catch opponents by surprise. Perhaps the most useful variation is the Instant Kamehameha, in which Lala uses Instant Transmission to teleport just before firing the attack, appearing right in front of his opponents and giving them no time to dodge.
    • Instant Transmission: A teleportation technique, allows her to lock onto the ki signatures of others and teleport to their locations. Its use takes some concentration, which is aided by Lala putting her index and middle fingers to her forehead (She has also shown to teleport without placing his fingers), and she needs a ki signature to teleport to, otherwise, she cannot perform the technique. It can be used to teleport others as well, as long as they are in physical contact with Lala.
    • Solar Flare: One of Tien Shinhan's signature techniques, which Lala copied. Bringing her hands up to her face, Lala can create a bright flash of light that can blind opponents.
    • Saiyan Physiology: The physiology of a Saiyan, an aggressive warrior race of conquerors. Saiyans have the natural ability to control ki and to fly, likely the origin of Lala's incredible skill when it comes to the usage and control of ki. Additionally, while her lifespan is comparable to that of a human, Lala will remain at his peak strength for much longer. One of the most powerful abilities of a Saiyan is their ability to grow stronger and stronger through combat, allowing Lala to constantly push her limits during a fight and rise to higher and higher peaks in power. This ability grants a substantial boost in power when lala is badly injured, allowing him to reach a whole new level of power once he recovers.
      • Super Saiyan: The famous, legendary transformation of a Saiyan that allows them to greatly surpass their limits and reach the fabled state that is Super Saiyan.
