Summary[]
Kyra Hughes is a person born with the sollertia gene, a gene which gives people extraordinary abilities. Kyra was born with the ability to control chains. She can create chains from her fingertips that she can extend to incredibly long lengths and control them with her thoughts.
Kyra was a rare case where neither of her parents had the sollertia gene. During an arguement she was having with her parents, she lashed out and killed both of them before going on the run. She was eventually found by Liam, who at the time, was still a professional hero. He found out about how she killed her parents, which helped Liam realize how much stronger those with the sollertia gene were compared to those who didn't have it, which slowly caused Liam to adopt his belief that those without the sollertia gene needed to be eradicated.
Kyra went to court for killing her parents before being let off the hook by a young and aspiring lawyer, Isaiah, who managed to find a way to keep her out of jail through a loophole in the legal system. A few years later, Liam attempted to convince her to become one of his followers in his cause. At first, she was repelled by the idea of killing everyone without the sollertia gene, but Liam eventually managed to manipulate her by guilt tripping her with the death of her parents. She eventually agreed to be one of his followers, and eventually, after several more years, became one of his most loyal members, even being implied to be his romantic partner, though this hasn't been confirmed.
