Knuckles the Echidna[1] is one of the primary characters in the Sonic.exe: Nightmare Universe. He is a red Mobian echidna who is the last known of the species. He guards the Master Emerald and is one of the first victims of Exetior, and is one of his henchman in Eye of Three.
