~ King Gizzard's first words, which they soon regretted |
Summary[]
King Gizzard is one of the Pawns of the Homewreckers, attacking the Wife Beaters during their visit to the Mayor and serving as their secondary enemy after Blur. There was originally little known about them, as they did not state their identity and were violently defeated through Silas' miracle, obliterating their mental core to the point that Clairvoyants were incapable of obtaining any information about their origins.
This circumstance changed with the emergence of the Lizard Wizard, as they were able to trace their connection to discover their real identity as Ambrose Smith-Kelly, a former art student who garnered international attention through his collaborative work with Stuart. After becoming a Trigger, they both joined the Homewreckers to achieve the perfection of anthropomorphic shapes. Ambrose had little interest in the cause or the deeper echelons of Energy Layer research, but stayed and supported the Lizard Wizard for the sake of his happiness, being eclipsed in power and eventually killed in their ambush on The Wife Beaters.
Powers and Stats[]
Tier: 7-C, higher overtime, 7-B through Prototype Nuclear-Energy Warhead
Name: Ambrose Smith-Kelly,[1] "King Gizzard"
Origin: Valhalla: Hellcity
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
Classification: Level 1 Trigger
Powers and Abilities:
Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Immortality (Types 1 and 3, Triggers are immortal[2] and can heal from any physical injury[3]), Regeneration (Low-Godly, any damage on the physical layer is regarded as "False Damage"[3] that is incapable of killing the trigger and regenerates at triple speed, while damage to every layer is still able to be healed provided the damage is not extensive, and they are not struck in their[4] spiritual core.[5] King Gizzard in particular possesses Rapid Regen, doubling the speed of this process), Self-Sustenance (Types 1, 2 and 3; Triggers have no requirements for food or physical obligation to sleep, only being affected psychologically by prolonged consciousness.[5] Can traverse into the depths of Red Gashes, where even air vanishes from existence[6]), Energy Manipulation (The defining trait of a Trigger is the ability to control Energy, an extraplanar force that clashes with the nature of reality on a fundamental level. This fuels their abilities at large, and can be fired as a blast directly[3]), Explosion Manipulation (Regularly caused by the use of Energy in general, whether that be through Energy Blasts or Energy enhanced attacks[3]), Mind Manipulation and Soul Manipulation (Can attack on the mental and spiritual layers alongside the physical[3]), Fear Manipulation (Damage to the mental layer can influence the thoughts and feelings of onlookers, causing locations that have been severely damaged by triggers to cause an innate sense of dread and desire to abandon the area[1]), Memory Manipulation (Damage to an area on the mental layer may cause it to be outright removed from collective memory,[3] Silas's Miracle was capable of "unpersoning" King Gizzard by reducing him to atoms on every layer[5]), Life Manipulation (The spiritual layer dictates the properties of physical objects, including their life-force/spans[1]), Regeneration Negation (Up to Low-Godly; Damage to the spiritual layer interferes with the life force of objects, making it impossible for mundane means to repair damage dealt by a Trigger.[1] Even other Triggers have an increased difficulty healing attacks that harm their souls[3]), Invulnerability Negation (Despite a Fortified Trigger's ability to completely ignore False Damage,[3] a Trigger's normal attacks are capable of harming them, as displayed with Aisha,[4] and Frozen Mind's similar protection of the mind and soul also cannot prevent outright damage), Non-Physical Interaction (Capable of damaging spiritual and mental structures, and even interact with Gashes and creatures similar in nature,[7] which are a "total annihilation of anything and everything"[8]), Reactive Evolution (Triggers as a whole have the capacity to suddenly evolve in Level through overexposure to extreme levels of Energy, special energy sources or extreme distress.[3] More regularly, external factors allow them to break through their limits to enhance their power,[5] this process often granting them new aspects to their powers in the process), Surface Scaling (Even the least agile of triggers are capable of running straight up walls and climbing on totally flat surfaces[3]), Enhanced Senses (Triggers are capable of seeing the Spiritual and Mental layers of reality, as well as have their senses tuned to such extremes that they can "hear sweat hitting the ground from another room, see in almost complete darkness, feel minor shifts in the air and smell chemicals that have no odor".[3] This allows Triggers to speak to each other at normal volumes from hundreds of meters away, as well as communicate through the minimal use of their vocal cords while keeping their mouth closed,[9] Far superior to Xander Phoenix in this regard, who was capable of detecting and eventually pinpointing the location of Gash Lizards[7]), Reality Warping and Physics Manipulation (The use of energy can cause Random Events, causing a conflict between the laws of physics and reality in an attempt to replace it with the Energy Layer. Through Greater Energy Control, King Gizzard is capable of making this effect half as likely or guaranteed[3]), Statistics Amplification (Can attack with an Energy infused punch, increasing it's speed and power, as well as well as use Energy to block or dodge for similar effects.[3] Through staying stationary and prolonging a fight within their fields, King Gizzard's power and range steadily increase, which is further pronounced when his abilities are used within a structure he's made[5]), Forcefield Creation (Energy Block can emit a forcefield upon use[7]), Light Manipulation (Energy Defense can cause a flashbang effect that blinds opponents after it succeeds[3]), Telepathy (Triggers are capable of easily "reading" mundane people through observing them on the mental layer[1])
Density Manipulation (King Gizzard's Unique Power is control of volume, density and outright mass of objects within a given range[5]), Earth Manipulation (Can cause earthquakes and generally manipulate the terrain in order to inconvenience an advancing opponent,[5] and uses this as a direct offensive measure[7]), Superhuman Precision (King Gizzard possesses S[5] Motorics, making their hand-eye coordination and precision far beyond a normal human, as well as Super Aim, allowing them to precisely hit the tongue, eardrum or eyes of a target[3]), Absorption (Homewreckers are granted[10] Carnage, which allows them to increase their power in the midst of combat through killing people or Triggers and absorbing their Energy, and retain some of the benefits overtime[3]), Void Manipulation (Can increase the density of objects to such a degree that they become a Red Gash[5], which is a total annihilation of "anything and everything"[8] that extends to every layer, including the Conceptual[10]), Enhanced Regeneration Negation (Up to Mid-Godly; Wounds created by Gashes are impossible for Triggers to heal by normal means,[1] relying on the likes of Warrane's ability to re-create reality in order to counteract the effect.[11] Could potentially kill Level 2 Triggers,[10] who can regenerate from complete spiritual and mental destruction[5]), Statistics Reduction (Maladapted Triggers have difficulty exerting themselves within a Red Gash,[12] causing their movements in particular to become outright sluggish[13]), Power Nullification and Absorption (Capable of extending the cracks of a Gash, which can absorb energy and negate the effects of Unique Powers such as Silas' Cosmo expansion and Blur's Temporal Shroud[13]), Awakened Power (After his shroud is destroyed, he enters a "second phase" that grants him the ability to act more quickly[5]), Invulnerability (Possesses Fortified, which makes them completely immune to False Damage, and possesses a similar immunity to direct mental and spiritual manipulation through Frozen Mind[3]), Self-Destruction (Upon their death, they are capable of deploying a Prototype Nuclear-Energy Warhead, set to detonate in approximately 30 seconds.[7] Members of the Homewreckers as a whole are given an innate "Kill Switch",[9] causing them to be consumed by a Gash[4] if they betray the organization[14]), Damage Reduction, Resurrection and Invisibility (Possesses a shroud, which reduces the damage they take, restores them to full capacity in case they would otherwise die,[1] obscures their identity[10] and reduces their existential presence by covering them in a darkness likened directly to nothingness,[15] making it difficult for even the senses of Triggers to properly detect them[7]), Animal Manipulation (Has access to lizards from the Lizard Wizard, who granted them complete control in the process[5]), Nonexistent Physiology (Type 1 Nature, Aspects 1-4; Lizards are described as similar in nature to Gashes), Existence Erasure (Gash Lizards are capable of using FAMINEPULSE, which outright removes a triangular area from existence[7])
Spatial Manipulation (Can cause objects to randomly teleport around a given battlefield,[16] potentially dragging them through several dimensions in the process.[17] Sufficiently compounded Random Events can cause an entire city to experience severe spatial expansion, ripping at anyone within it's radius[18]), Gravity Manipulation (Can briefly cause singularities to occur, distorting space-time and stretching the ground around it into Nano-Carbon Latices.[16] This effect can potentially be manifested to such an extent that gravity is reverted, a true vacuum is formed, and an entire forest is converted to Latices.[4] Capable of coalescing gravity around a specific target, forming a massive sphere of material that pins them to the ground.[19] Capable of softening gravity, causing those in it's radius to move twice as fast from the decreased weight[14]), Transmutation (Capable of turning dirt into a harmful gas, and in more extreme cases cause matter to directly turn to Energy,[4] can turn water into wine and blood[20]), Matter Manipulation (Random Events frequently interfere with molecular structures, certain extremes are able to atomize those without sufficient resilience[20]), Air Manipulation (Can increase air pressure within 1000 meter radius exponentially for 30 seconds, causing explosions to be sustained thermobarically throughout the duration,[5]as well as cause a vacuum effect that shreds nearby opponents[21]), Light Manipulation (Can cause an implosion of heat that becomes as bright as the sun, blinding anyone in it's wake,[13] which can be manifested to such an extent that it melts steel throughout a hydroelectric dam[5]), Temperature Manipulation (Can prevent molten material from cooling off, sustaining it's heat from the explosion that caused it to melt[7]), Weather Manipulation (Can create a storm of energy that hovers around the battlefield[13]), Time Manipulation (Can revert time, causing attacks to be re-released as a massive explosion,[13] or cause stopped time to solidify and shatter into shards that revert whatever they cut into the recent past[18]), Size Manipulation and Density Manipulation (Can cause the density of manipulated material to become unstable, sometimes bloating their size and mass or causing them to collapse into a pebble sized chunk[7]), Madness Manipulation (Can warp the mental layer into an abominable and maddening landscape[22]), Vector Manipulation (Can cause objects to move in bizarre fashions by warping the vectors of their motion[22]), Plant Manipulation (Can cause destroyed trees to immediately sprout new ones,[4] and can cause them to wither and die[19]), Vibration Manipulation (Can cause a massive shockwave to proceed an impact, launching opponents for a notable distance[4]), Electricity Manipulation (Can convert the clouds in the sky into lightning that strikes everything in sight,[4] or form a lightning bolt on the mental layer from the accumulated grief of those within an area, empowering beings such as Soothsayer in the process[14]), Summoning (Sufficiently compounded random events can cause a "space between dimensions" to emerge, bringing forth some form of sentient being which eclipsed the combined power of the Wife Beaters on Day 2[4]), Creation (Can cause materials produced by an attack to emerge in extreme excess, such as bursts of X and Gamma Rays covering miles of Hellcity after Xander used Strong Force, Starfire's flames consuming all random events nearby to propagate beyond his initial attack,[17] The Butcher of Streets' blood slash continuing to produce blood and stain the nearby area,[21] or Vladimir's electric punches propagating yet more electricity[23]), Smoke Manipulation (Can cause smoke to accumulate over a given target, blinding them through visual obscurement and burning their eyes[17]), Fire Manipulation (Can cause weapons to spontaneously combust[21]), Status Effect Inducement (Can create bubbles of crystalized moments in time, which burst to induce a variety of effects on those nearby[24]), Corrosion Inducement (Can release a liquid that melts anything it touches[19]), Portal Creation (Can rip a gash into space, funneling in objects and causing them to appear elsewhere[19]), Chaos Manipulation (Random Events are capable of destabilizing reality to make random events more likely, or reverting this effect[23]), Age Manipulation (Can cause everything within a certain radius to become far older and corroded[25])
Reality Warping, Physics Manipulation, Spatial Manipulation, Gravity Manipulation, Matter Manipulation, Air Manipulation, Light Manipulation, Temperature Manipulation, Density Manipulation, Size Manipulation, Madness Manipulation, Vector Manipulation, Plant Manipulation, Vibration Manipulation, Electricity Manipulation, Smoke Manipulation, Fire Manipulation Status Effect Inducement, Corrosion Inducement, Chaos Manipulation and Age Manipulation (Can withstand the effects of Random Events[3]), Mind Manipulation, Memory Manipulation, Fear Manipulation, Life Manipulation and Regeneration Negation (Can withstand and heal from the blows of other Triggers. Homewreckers are able to regenerate from Red Damage[12]), Poison Manipulation, Acid Manipulation, Radiation Manipulation and Biological Manipulation (Triggers are capable of resisting the effects of any conventional weaponry, including a variety of chemical weapons, poisons, and radiation sickness,[3] and disobey the laws of biology to begin with[1] due to inhabiting the spiritual and mental layers simultaneously[5]), Void Manipulation (Triggers are capable of surviving exposure to Red Gashes, which are described as a total annihilation of "anything and everything"[8] that extends to every layer, including the Conceptual[10]), Statistics Reduction (Homewreckers are acclimated to Red Gashes and their weakening effects[12]), Telepathy (A Trigger's use of both the Mental Layer and their physical brain makes them difficult to read through interpreting either individually[1]), Power Nullification and Absorption (Can withstand the effects of Gash cracks, which are capable of absorbing energy and negating the effects of Unique Powers such as Silas' Cosmo Expansion or Blur's Temporal Shroud[13]), Probability Manipulation (Warrane was capable of withstanding Aisha's Unique Power,[4] which allows her to manipulate possible outcomes in order to pick favorable scenarios[1]), Immersion (Triggers are capable of defending against Mirror Man's ability to immerse themselves into the reflections of their eyes[7]), Explosion Manipulation (Blur was able to negate lower-end uses of[13] Warrane's Crunch, which spawns an otherwise indefensible explosion on top of a given target[26]), Pain Manipulation, Perception Manipulation (Triggers can resist Soothsayer's ability to induce these effects,[27] Shrouds provide immunity to sensory deprivation[5]) Information Analysis (Those who have shrouds are notably difficult to discern information from, even to Level 2s and their extreme sensory and mental capabilities[22])
Attack Potency: Town level (Those "branded" by Red Gashes are noted to have an increased degree of power,[1] and thus are superior to triggers that can throw a massive tree at mach speeds shortly after awakening.[28] Broke through the guards of Silas Blueberry and Xander Phoenix through a fist of manipulated material[7]), higher overtime (Their power grows as they stay locked in place, with this increase further intensifying as they are able to accumulate density in their attacks for massive damage[5]), City level through Prototype Nuclear Energy Warhead (A vastly enlarged and empowered version of the existing model, which has a yield of 700 Kilotons. Baptized the moon's surface with light[7])
Speed: High Hypersonic (Even the slowest of Triggers are capable of moving faster than any human transportation[3], including the X-43A's ability to reach Mach 9.6 or a Space Shuttle's top speed of Mach 22)
Lifting Strength: Class M physically (Possesses an E rank Strength, which is still sufficient to haul around hundreds of thousands of tons[3] and is superior to triggers that can throw a massive tree at mach speeds shortly after awakening[28]), Class G with Earth Manipulation (Capable of manipulating pillars as dense as Osmium[7])
Striking Strength: Town level (Though they are quite physically weak by the standards of Pawns, should still exceed freshly awakened Triggers in this regard)
Durability: Town level (Survived Xander's Multiplication+Addition Strong Force, though he was nearly reduced to a skeleton. His structures are noted to be extremely difficult for Silas to deal damage to[7]), Country level through White Dwarf material
Stamina: Superhuman (Triggers in general are inhumanly resilient, with even freshly awakened Triggers retaining consciousness through extreme injury and regenerating through it to continue fighting.[28] Withstood being reduced to a near-skeleton[7])
Range: Unknown, eventually Hundreds of Meters with his Unique Power (Was initially unable to attack the Wife Beaters, but with time his range increased enough to blockade Warrane from 600 meters away[7]), Tens of Kilometers with Energy Blast (While accuracy drops off after every 1500 meters without proper aim, Energy Blasts have a maximum range of the Trigger's line of sight, which can easily go up to this distance[28])
Standard Equipment: Homewrecker Shroud, 5 Gash Lizards
Intelligence: Extraordinary Genius (Possesses S Rank Intelligence,[5] making him exceed Warrane Ambre in this regard)
Standard Tactics: King Gizzard typically sits and waits for his power and range to grow, with outside influence allowing him to complement this by entrapping his opponents in a pocket dimension. In the meantime, the Gash Lizards he obtained from the Lizard Wizard may buy time by attacking opponents until they are disposed of. Once an opponent is in range through either King Gizzard's influence expanding or their direct approach, he'll continue using more methods of harassment to prolong the fight through flinging projectiles and moving the ground beneath his body to alter his position, while occasionally throwing increasingly potent attacks from manipulated material.
Weaknesses: His stationary combat style allows an opponent to gain their bearings within the opening moments of a battle, which allowed Silas to eventually accumulate his Miracle and completely overwhelm their ability to retaliate.
Notable Attacks and Techniques:
- Density Manipulation: King Gizzard's Unique Power, allowing him to upscale the mass, volume and density of objects throughout a given radius. Through this, he can choose 50 meters of a material and increase it's density exponentially if he keeps working on an area. The progression happens within seconds, first causing stone to become osmium-dense, then granting it the properties of carbon nanotubes, then granting it properties of a white star's core, with it's final stage causing material to completely collapse under its own gravity, though his connections to the Homewreckers allow it to transform into a Red Gash instead.
- Environmental Control: Capable of altering the environment around them in a variety of ways, allowing him to raise massive structures out of the ground, collapse buildings, or cause earthquakes to disrupt the footing of enemies.
- The Gizzard: A rectangular structure that King Gizzard can use to encase his enemies, allowing him to use his abilities to much greater effect on whoever is trapped, as they're surrounded by material constantly increasing in density to both become harder to break through and provide a more potent means of attack.
Trivia: "King Gizzard" was not a name given originally by the Game Master CrimsonStarFallen, instead forming as a joke from Warrane Ambre's player DMUA thanks to his use of Gash Lizards. This was later canonized as his actual name due to the realization that his tactics greatly resembled the actual digestive organ of a Gizzard, with him entrapping and crushing opponents through both the Homewrecker provided pocket dimension and some applications of their Unique Power.
