Kaloyanimage
My chains of allegiance to Sankonia persists beyond the veil of death itself. I, who am unconquered, remain unyielding. Should this stratagem unfurl as anticipated, a respite shall be secured for my kin, their emancipation from doom. Even in the event of my demise, the triumph is mine to claim.
~ Kaloyan Boran

Summary[]

Kaloyan Boran is a character from Storiverse,

Kaloyan was born as a mamber of Boran tribe, which was part of Sankonia. He would choose to serve in military and start his training at the age of 18. After several years of basic training and combat experience, Kaloyan would make the courageous decision to go through the Surge of Sorrows, a 1000-step improvement ritual frequently used by Sankonia to train high-end soldiers, even going through Step 1 has multitude of negative effects for the individual. Kaloyan would go on to pass first 100 steps, while not being capable enough to pass step 101. This feat allowed him to achieve the rank of Sergeant in Sankonian Army, which is the fifth highest rank out of eleven ranks of the Armed forces of Sankonia.

Kaloyan would later start serving in the army for decades, where he would eventually met his end during a war against Notrenes at the age of 42. But somehow, his spirit would live on, and thrive. Kaloyan, now a ghost, finds a way to possess vessels to continue his servitude for his country for centuries. During which he would meet Psamhat, a fellow Sergeant, and form a friendship with him. The two would form a team and operate together in various occasions when they aren't tasked seperately, as well as engage in sparring contests.

Ultimately he met Beikan in Planet Fuerdan, a Marshal-rank Mugen. He was aware that despite having an army of a million Soldiers, he would not be able to win but had no choice but to battle against her. He organized his whole army against Beikan, who only had ten thousand Knights and ten Elite Knights in her command. Kaloyan Boran aimed for survival of his army and Civilians of Sankonia rather than winning the battle, for he knew despite having more manpower, Beikan alone would be able to defeat his entire army. He used a battle strategy with sole purpose of buying time for his army so that as much of his soldiers could escape. He and almost half of the army was killed, but with hia plan he managed to keep more than half of his army and all of civilians, which is several million, alive.

Kaloyan Boran, after his death, is considered to be a hero by Sankonia for his sacrifice to save millions of other people of Sankonia.

He does this to deduce power of his target, depending on how what his target does, he will change options
      • If bodies are destroyed very quickly or seriously damaged, meaning his target is strong, he will summon other bodies and make a joint attack with all of his arsenal. He will split his soul in three and keep one of them away from the fight in order to increase chances of his own survival. He might also use illusion at the same time
      • If bodies can survive and fight or even overpower his target, meaning the target is weak and he'll let the bodies to finish them off. Might summon others as well
    • Against weaker enemies he wants to capture but not kill, he might use Thnovor on them to have them be paralyzed, only if he thinks he can survive the boost they will get due to it

Weaknesses: Can parmanently be killed if his soul gets destroyed, his soul is incapable of fighting, the vessel has to be dead in order to be used. Cannot Summon more than 30 Undeads in a given time due to monthly limit

    Notable Attacks/Techniques:[]

    • Spirit: Kaloyan exists as a disembodied spirit, requiring vessels in order to act. He is able to split his soul in three to control three vessels at once, and the destruction of his spirit in its entirety needed to eliminate him
      • Sustenance: Kaloyan does not need to eat, breathe, or sleep, and can act forever due to his spirit nature
    • Flight: Kaloyan can fly, although not very effective in combat due to not being very precise
    • Illusions: Kaloyan can generate various illusions targeting hearing and sight of his targets. These illusions can distract his targets for him to launch an attack
    • Summon: Kaloyan is able to summon the bodies of all the people he has killed before, exceeding thousands. However, he can only summon up to 5 of them at a time and cannot summon exceed that value. These are able to act and fight, although they are not very good at it on their own. Kaloyan can use these bodies as vessels
    • Thnovor: A type of Sankonian drug that can greatly increase offensive and defensive capabilities for sometime, but leaves people paralyzed after its effects wane out, including spirit paralyzation. Kaloyan can use this on himself, or force it on his target, to paralyze them
