Summary[]
Julia Lawson, commonly referred to as Detective Lawson, is the main protagonist of Julia Lawson: On the case!. A third grader with a dream of being a world reknowned detective, Julia uses all her ingenuity and determination in order to resolve the various crimes and mysteries going on at Marble Hills Elementary alongside her best friend and partner in crime Cody Adams. Armed with various gadgets created by the ever mysterious Kiera Rivera, nothing will put a stop to Julia once this junior detective has her mind set on a case.

Julia has shown the innate ability to read a person's emotional state throught body language and voice pattern, allowing her to determine whether or not they are being truthful with her. Has shown the ability to feed half truths to her suspects in order for them to reveal the whole truth, such as when she tricked James Evans into accidentally confessing his crimes. Taught herself how to speak french through mere reading and is fluent enough to have a full on interrogation with a french exchange student. Has a fairly competent memory being capable of remembering the clothes, height and weight of the mystery teen despite being knocked unconscious moments later. Her information were detailed enough to get a fairly accurate composite sketch drawn by Cody. Has shown a great capacity at replicating what she sees such as learning how to pick locks by merely watching a video on the internet or even learning fencing tricks by mimicking James's movements. Kiera Rivera, a genius inventor capable of creating items such as mind control pills, sleeping darts and bubble bombs, sees Julia as an intellectual equal, albeit, not as tech-savey.)

Kiera's homemade acid: A glass jar filled with powerful acid which is Kiera's own recepie. A single drop can melt away a metal lock and a large quantity caused a large hole in the floor of Julia's school. It is by far Julia's most dangerous gadget and thus she uses it with great caution.
Magnetic yo-yo: A yo-yo equipped with a powerful magnet capable of attaching to any somewhat metallic surfaces. It is often used by Julia as a sort of grapple hook.
Night glasses: A pair of glasses created by Kiera which allows Julia to see in the dark.
Bunny hair clip: A pink hair clip in the shape of a bunny created by Kiera, it grants Julia increase hearing.
Sleepy Sleepy darts: Small darts created by Kiera, they are filled with a powerful sleep inducing chemical that when implanted into someone, will knock them out for two hours.
Bubble bombs: Small pink bombs created by kiera that resemble regular gum balls. when thrown and it makes contact with something, it explodes in a mess of bubble gum, trapping Julia's foe.
Dusty bombs: Small white balls resembling smoke bombs created by Kiera, they are made out of crushed up chalks and are used like regular smoke bombs.
Powered scooter A Kugoo S1 scooter that was hooked up to a 900 cc motorcycle engine by Kiera allowing it to reach speeds up to 220 mph. It is also equipped with an oil slick to make any of pursuers slip and fall.
Voice changer: A mircophone that when spoken into will change Julia's voice into whomever is currently registered within it.
Powered up air horn: An air horn which was amplified by Kiera, it can release a powerful sound that can temporally stun foes due to the pain in thier ears.

Standard Tactics: Heavily dependent on what Julia reads from her opponent's emotional state, if she notices they are seemingly distressed while confronting her, Julia will attempt to peacefully bring them to their senses in order to stop a fight from happening. Should she read them as an actual threat, Julia will not hesitate to immobilize them by using items such as the Bubble Bombs or Sleepy Darts while utilzing her surroundings for potential advantages.
Weaknesses: Despite her inherent intelligence, Julia still remains a child at heart. As such, she can greatly overestimate what she is capable of confronting. She has however slightly grown out of it after her experience with Mystery Teen. While not a pacifist, Julia will never intentionally do something that could result in great bodily harm or even death on someone. After her defeat to Mystery Teen in their first encounter, Julia briefly developed an intense fear of gas mask, to the point the mere sight of one would cause her to enter a state of shock. This has however been resolved by having a heart to heart with Cody Adams.
