He was Gordon Freeman's brother, who worked in an office building. However, while working, he would later receive an Email from Gordon asking for help, as he had encountered aliens and monsters. John Freeman quickly put on his outfit, got on his bike and rushed to assist his brother.
He would later meet up with his brother while he was in active combat with "the final boss", where he would assist him in defeating it. Gordon would later congratulate him for his help, but victory would not last long as the second boss would appear and step on Gordon. John Freeman would vow to defeat the second boss and save his brother's life, which he did after learning it's weakness and exploiting it.
While he could defeat the boss, he could not save his brother, who shortly after would be taken over by a headcrab. The parasitized brother would berate him for his failure to save him and claims "YOU WILL PAY".
John Freeman would not be seen for a long time, until his son has accidentally started a rebellion against the combine, an empire that has enslaved humanity and believed to be from "science and outer space". When his son attracted the attention of the entire combine empire, lead by a mysterious shadowy figure in a mask, he would appear out of a portal to assist his son, like he did with his brother before, and hopefully succeed.Powers and Stats[]
