Jalin Seattles
Clashing Frontiers
This feels... wild.

Summary[]

A Rodroid that was born as the 'runt' of the family. Soon after his creation, he quickly found out the truth about his Colony and their discriminatory methods to ensure order. No longer obedient to the Colony Leader, Jalin lives out the rest of his days as the sole surviving Deviant. Vowing to avenge his fallen predecessors.

Key: Model 1 | Post-205 Training | Model 2

Name: Jalin, JS-300 (Formerly)

Origin: Clashing Frontiers

Age: Several days old

Classification: Rodroid, Deviant, "Hope of Rodroid Kind"

Powers and Abilities:

All previous abilities.

All previous resistances.

  • Hot Temperatures (Can endure the heat from lava despite standing directly next to it)

All previous abilities.

Attack Potency: Wall level (Can dig through and destroy solid stone in caves), higher via Piercing Damage (Has pierced through tougher material by using his legs as spears and creating sharp weapons through Nanites) | Wall level (Stronger than before. After training with JS-205, he was capable of defeating three improved Rodroids at once and holding his own against an improved RG-160), higher via Piercing Damage, up to Town level with Preparation (Has created a bomb comparable to Little Boy) | Wall level (Much stronger than before. Equal to RG-160), higher via Piercing Damage, higher via Piercing Damage, up to Town level with Preparation

Speed: Peak Human | Peak Human (Faster than before. Capable of keeping pace with RG-160 who, seconds ago, blitzed him) | Subsonic+ (Superior to Mimi, who intercepted a bullet shot from a 19th century revolver)

Lifting Strength: Peak Human | Class 5 (Comparable to JS-205, who moved a large boulder with just their cables) | Class 5 (Stronger than before)

Striking Strength: Wall Class, higher via Piercing Damage | Wall Class, higher via Piercing Damage | Wall Class, higher via Piercing Damage

Durability: Wall level (Can endure being smashed through solid cave walls) | Wall level, likely far higher (More durable than before. Has survived being in very close proximity to an explosion comparable to "Little Boy" and endured numerous attacks by RG-160 despite being more than heavily damaged) | Wall level, likely far higher (Much more durable than before. Emerged unscathed by an entire roof collapsing on him)

Stamina: Infinite (Rodroids can continue operating so long as their Protonium casing isn't removed, or destroyed. Jalin himself has constantly been on the run from his entire Colony, with numerous close-calls and near-death situations. He's even exerted himself through sheer determination to persist despite sustaining damage)

Range: Below Standard Melee Range normally, Several Meters with Cables, Tens of Meters with Nanites | Standard Melee Range normally, Several Meters with Cables, Tens of Meters with Nanites | Standard Melee Range normally, Several Meters with Cables, Tens of Meters with Nanites and Particle Cannon

Standard Equipment: None Notable | None Notable | JS-205's Particle Cannon

Intelligence: Genius.

Has proven himself a natural prodigy when the situation demanded it and has come up with strategies and plans on the fly, accomplishing all of these feats from minutes to hours to within a day. Quickly figured out the various usages of his cables despite only having been created minutes ago. Understood that a rotted KS-121 was using echolocation to navigate and defeated them within 5 minutes, all while being gradually drained of their Protonium. Escaped the pursuit of his entire Colony in a short amount of time, and has consistently done so repeatedly despite their ability to adapt. Is the only known Rodroid to make use of the environment around him without Nanites, something that even impressed his teacher JS-205. After his training with JS-205, he can expertly evade attacks from swarms of Rodroids and even win in a 3-on-1 against them, despite their prior knowledge. Not long after, he built a bomb comparable to the real-world "Little Boy" nuke with nothing but his environment and Nanites, managed to hold his own against a RG-160 that has obtained all previous information including making its own observations about Jalin, restored themselves to their prime, and was continuously adapting and learning from both him and JS-205 at an alarming rate. Later on, despite the technology being relatively new, Jalin managed to analyze the composition of a polaroid photo and even recreate an image, to imprint on the photo, from his memory bank.

Weaknesses: Rodroids are incapable of remaining operational without their Protonium casing. They are also over reliant on their Nanites to finish tasks. All Rodroids only have a finite amount of Nanites at their disposal. If they lose them all, they can't utilize them until they gather more, though this can be negated should the Rodroid choose to sacrifice some of its mass. Sufficiently high temperatures are enough to stiffen the movement of a Rodroid, eventually leading to paralysis. Too curious and passive to initially start a fight, but will quickly adjust if he deems it necessary. Tends to underestimate his enemies | All previous weaknesses, minus the curiosity and overreliance. Due to paranoia instilled by RG-160, he is instantly willing to neutralize an enemy. After the battle with RG-160, instead of underestimating, he now overestimates his enemies.

Notable Attacks / Techniques:

Nanites: All Rodroids are spherical robots created with Artificial Intelligence and Nanites. As they are all capable from the moment of creation, each individual Rodroid can use their Nanites for a variety of purposes: Weapons, Tools, Building, Hacking, and etc. Each Rodroid comes equipped with a Protonium Gauge and a Nanite Storage capacity. If they lose all of their Protonium, they'll be rendered inactive, or 'dead' per se. If they lose all of their Nanites, they'll be unable to use them for anything until they gather more. If desperate enough, however, any Rodroid can sacrifice some of the Nanites that make up its mass to form weapons, tools, and etc.

Cables: All Rodroids have a built-in cable casting system that allows them to launch cables out from their ports. The tensile strength within these cables is enough to move around boulders and large stalactites.

JS-205's Particle Cannon: After the unfortunate death of JS-205, Jalin was gifted their iconic Particle Cannon for his own use.
