My name is Imastrius Kulgar, warrior of Shevarash, messenger of those you have forsaken. This is perdition- divine judgement has found you and condemned you to die, Durrn. This pit will serve as your grave.

Your time of cowering in the dark as you reap the rewards of betraying your kind is over, you bastard.

Summary[]

Imastrius Kulgar is one of the four protagonists of Drite77's Sunless Citadel Campaign, played by Mr. Bambu. Hailing from a hobgoblin kingdom laid to waste by in-fighting and sabotage, civil wars forced Imastrius' people in the Underdark, where they were subjugated and enslaved by the Drow. Eventually escaping by pure chance, Imastrius saw his chance and fled, and was found by an elven community, who hesitantly took him in.

The elves helped Imastrius recover, and sent him on his way with a small amount of coin and some new knowledge. In particular, he took interest in the elven God Shevarash, who held a similar grudge against the drow. He dedicated much of his time to the study of this new God and then, renewed from his weakness and set on a new purpose in life, sought to become strong, so as to better destroy the drow menace lurking below the surface of the world.

Magic, Non-Physical Interaction (Magic is capable of interacting with creatures in different planes of existence, as well as abstract, intangible, incorporeal, and nonexistent entities), Reality Warping (All magic is the result of manipulating The Weave, a multiversal construct personified by the Goddess Mystra, which in turn refines the raw power of the entity known as The Serpent), Healing (Imastrius' healing is particularly effective thanks to his Augment Healing feat; he can immediately restore health with spells such as Close Wounds or Cure Light Wounds and bestow them with temporary overtime healing using Lesser Vigor), Extrasensory Perception (With Detect Magic, Imastrius can sense the presence of magic, learning more information about it as he studies a particular area, and with Detect Poison he can sense if a specific area, object or creature is venomous or has been poisoned), Statistics Amplification (Many of Imastrius' spells are geared towards supporting allies. Spawn Screen protects a subject from being raised as an undead spawn), Darkness Manipulation, Temperature Manipulation and Status Effect Inducement (With Darkbolt, Imastrius launches a bolt of cold darkness from his left hand that can stun foes with its overwhelming evil energy), Organic Manipulation (Iron Silence creates a grease between the seams of suits of armor, rendering them completely silent), Sound Manipulation (Shatter creates a loud, ringing noise that breaks brittle nonmagical objects, sunders a single solid nonmagical object or damages a crystalline creature. Silence surrounds an object or creature with an area of complete silence with a 20 foot radius, centered around them), Paralysis Inducement (Hold Person paralyzes one target in place, still conscious but incapable of making any movement), Clairvoyance (Augury allows Imastrius to try and gain information on things with a ritual), Purification (Lesser Restoration dispels any magical effects reducing one of the subject’s ability scores or cures 1d4 points of temporary ability damage to one of the subject’s ability scores. Stamina: Superhuman. Adventurers in Dungeons & Dragons are capable of fighting through grievous injuries such as loss of limb.

Standard Equipment: Imastrius wields a +1 Morningstar and a Composite Longbow in combat, depending on enemy distance, wears Scale Mail and protects himself with a Heavy Wooden Shield. He also carries his glass eye, a quarterstaff, a quiver full of arrows, a Potion of Endure Elements, Two Anti-Toxins, a wooden Holy Symbol, a spell component pouch, a scroll case, ink and pen, parchment, a signal whistle, hempen rope, a grappling hook, chalk, flint and steel, oil, a shovel, waterskins and rations.

Weaknesses: Imastrius' alignment must remain adjacent to Shevarash and must follow its rule of conduct, at the risk of losing all his spells and class features. He can only prepare and cast a limited amount of spells, and some of them have their own limitations, most commonly linked to alignment.
