Summary[]
Hikari better known as Monarch is the main character/Antagonist of "Crimson Festival", a creepypasta reimagining of Hikari's Light Festival as per request of Javenplayz. Once a regular happy-go-lucky wolf pup who simply wished to keep his dearest friends entertained, Hikari ended up wishing upon a shooting star, for a way to do so, unaware that the star he was wishing upon was instead the Crimson Comet, a powerful corrupting force. It heard the wolf's pure-hearted wish and answered his call, with a desire to corrupt such an innocent soul. Unbeknown to him, Hikari was granted the Crimson Planner, a journal that was promised to make his wishes come true. As the young wolf opened the journal, a shine of excitement in his eyes, he felt a powerful force, shake him to his very soul, and before he knew it, he found himself unable to feel his body. He panicked, attempting to move, scream, anything, but it was all utterly useless as a new being had now taken possession of his being. This new being, referring to itself as Monarch began forcing Hikari's friends into tormentous games for its own enjoyment, ravishing in their torment and Hikari's hopelessness as he sunk deeper into misery as he breathlessly begged for their lives.

- Crimson Planner: A powerful and versatile journal that was granted to Hikari by the Crimson Comet in order to corrupt his innocent soul by making Monarch expose him to death and misery. The journal allows Monarch to bend reality to his will in order to force Hikari's friends into his tormentous games.

Standard Tactics: Monarch will usually started by BFRing his victimes into one of his dangerous games, in which they are likely to get maimed and torn apart, either by his various traps or helpers. Should one of his victimes began to rebel, Monarch has shown trapping them within a pocket dimesion where their doom will be slow and agonizing such as leaving them to drown or freeze to death.
Weaknesses: Monarch is an arrogant being who ravishes in bringing pain and hopelessness to others and, as such, will often toy with his victims before killing them. Monarch has an obsession with bringing misery to Hikari. As such, he will often rewind time to kill his victims again and again. Although unlikely due to his constant exposure to death and torture, Hikari could break out of Monarch's hold should he gain a considerable amount of hope. Monarch has little combat experience due to his reliance to the Crimson Planner. Should Hikari be killed, Monarch will disappear.
