Hero's Oath

Summary of the Verse[]

Hero's Oath is a book series mady by Reximusmaximus/ThePrimalHunter, and is heavily inspired by other media such as My Hero Academia and Harry Potter.

The story takes place in an alternate universe where almost 50% of the human population has a sollertia, a gene which gives those that have it extraordinary abilities, with these abilities having a wide variaty of possibilities, such as flight, controlling fire, creating force fields, ext. The sollertia gene is inherrited from the person's parents, with the child often having one of their parents powers. In some cases, it's possible for a child to be born without a sollertia even if their parents have one, or for a child to be born with a sollertia even if their parents dont. In some very rare cases, the child can end up having both of their parents powers or some combination of the 2 (Example: if one parent can control fire and the other can control water, the child has a very small possibility of being able to control steam).

Due to 50% of the population having these abilities and due to these abilities often being incredibly powerful and destructive, those without the sollertia gene started to live in fear of them. This caused the governments of the world to create their own teams of incredibly powerful beings with the sollertia gene made to stop threats involving other sollertia users to keep the general public safe. Some teams from around the world eventually created schools specially made for those with the sollertia gene in order to train them how to better use their sollertia to eventually become protectors and keep people safe from threats. One of these schools, Green Haul Academy for The Sollertia, located in Mefton NC (A fictional city in North Carolina), was one of the most prestigious of these schools, renouwned for their ability to train students in martial arts and better using their sollertia, as well as their advanced academic curriculum that prepares students in carrers outside of law enforcement/superheroism.

In the main story, we follow a group of freshman who had passed the entrance exams in order to join the school and the training and drama that they experience during their time in the school. Meanwhile, a former graduate of the school, Liam Sternberg, was creating a plan to convince thousands of people with the sollertia gene that they were superior to those without it, and that in order to further evolve the human species, they would need to get rid of those without the sollertia gene. This caused Liam to gain a huge following of people who were on his side, and he used this small army to attempt to execute his plans. He eventually found out though, that the students as Green Haul Academy for The Sollertia were more powerful than he thought, as they managed to take down and defeat several of the villians that he tried to use to cause as much damage and destruction as they could. So to attempt to put an end to this, he attacked the school directly with his army, which the students managed to fight off along with the teachers and local superhero team, forcing Liam to abandon his plans and flee.

Power of the Verse[]

The verse does have a decent amount of power due to the sollertia users of the verse possessing incredibly powerful abilities that let them cause destruction on a large scale. The weaker characters of the verse would scale to Street level+, as a requirement to enter Green Haul Academy for The Sollertia is for the student to be able to defeat a training bot without any weapons and without using their sollertia abilities, with the training bots being able to punch with this much force. It has also been stated several times in the story that those with the sollertia gene have a different type of muscle than those that don't have the gene, with said muscle being a lot stronger and more complex, thus making even untrained sollertia users massivley stronger than regular people.

Sollertia users with decent physical training and skill would fall around Small Building level, due to more athletic students being able to take down Empowered Training Bots, a more advanced version of the regular training bots that have this level of AP.

Those with high levels of training would fall around City Block level to Multi-City Block level due to scaling off of other highly trained sollertia users who can cause this level of destruction.

The highest tier characters are those who scale to Black Ice in his armor form, who can create Town level ice attacks. This is around where sollertia users peak, as Black Ice is refered to as one of the most dangerous characters in the verse, and incredibly powerful superheros like Inhuman Fist are often compared to nuclear weapons, further supporting Tier 7 for incredibly powerful superheros and villians.
