Summary[]
Gur-Shaak is one of the playable characters in Drite77's Sunless Citadel Campaign. A Jungle Orc Barbarian, she had managed to gain a respectable position in her tribe thanks to her knowledge of the wilds, but this all changed when she approved a batch of food that was in reality venomous, leading to the deaths of several orcs. As punishment, her lips were indelibly painted black to signify her mistake, and she was exiled from her tribe, and eventually wandered into the small town of Oakhurst. Forced into an urban lifestyle she couldn't adapt to, Gur-Shaak struggled to make ends meet until she caught word of an old, rich matriarch offering a large sum of money to those brave enough to venture into a ruined fortress known as the Sunless Citadel to attempt to rescue her children. With few other options and not much more to lose than her life, Gur-Shaak met with three other individuals who shared her goal, each with their own motivations, and set foot into the unknown depths of the Sunless Citadel.

Gur-Shaak's armor reduces her movement speed and her ability to Balance, Climb, Escape bindings, Hide, Jump, Move Silently, perform Sleight of Hand, Swim and Tumble.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Power Attack "You can make exceptionally powerful melee attacks.": By sacrificing some chance to hit, Gur-Shaak can strike foes with greater power.
- Martial Study, Desert Wind "By studying the basics of a martial discipline, you learn to focus your ki and perfect the form needed to use a maneuver. As a result, you gain the use of a combat maneuver; Desert Wind maneuvers focus on quick movement and swirling, flaming strikes. The scimitar, light mace, light pick, spear and falchion are the preferred weapons of the Desert Wind discipline. The complex spinning and slashing of the curved blade incorporated into many Desert Wind maneuvers are in fact carefully honed gestures that evoke the power of fire, if performed correctly and with the proper focus."
- Burning Blade "Your blade bursts into flames as it sweeps toward your foe in an elegant arc. A subtle yet precise twisting of your blade unlocks the power of flame. When you initiate this maneuver, fire trails from your melee weapon.": Allows Gur-Shaak to coat her weapon in fire for extra damage. Can only be used once per fight.
- Wolf Totem Barbarian; Improved Trip "You are trained not only in tripping opponents safely but also in following through with an attack.": Gur-Shaak can reliably trip foes without allowing them to counter, gain an advantage when attempting to overpower them and then safely get a strike off on them upon tripping them.
- Cleave: Upon defeating a foe, Gur-Shaak can immediately get attempt an attack upon another nearby one.
- Berserker Strength: Unlike most Barbarians, Gur-Shaak cannot Rage at will. Instead, her might will flare up when she is close to defeat. Her physical strength will increase greatly, she will gain resistance to damage and most abilities, though she will also become easier to actually hit with attacks.
