Summary[]
Granolah is the sole survivor of the Cerealian race that was annihilated by the Saiyan Army and a bounty hunter, formerly employed by the Heeters.
Motivated by his desire for revenge, he seeks to gain more power to kill the remaining saiyan's and avenge his people. He was manipulated by the Heeters into fighting the few remaining Saiyans, a Human and a Half-Saiyan Hybrid, in hopes that both sides would destroy each other and leave no one to oppose their own goal of universal domination. He is one of the main characters of the Granolah the Survivor Saga, initially acting as the main antagonistic foe towards Bann, Raditz, Ruby, Vegeta and Quart and later become their ally.
Powers and Stats[]
Tier: at least 5-B, Possibly 5-A | 2-C, higher with Charged Attack
Key: Pre-Wish | Post-Wish
Name: Granolah
Origin: Dragon Ball, RWBY
Age: In his 50s
Gender: Male
Classification: Cerealian, Bounty Hunter
Powers and Abilities:
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Longevity (Cerealians can live for about two centuries[1])
- Enhanced Senses (Vision; Cerealians' right eyes are especially adapted to sniping and Granolah's abilities with it are highly proficient[2])
- Weapon Mastery (Granolah uses a non-lethal Stun Gun and has expert sniping capabilities[3])
- Stealth Mastery (Granolah managed to infiltrate a Sugarian lab in the middle of a busy city and escape without being seen[4])
- Ki Manipulation (Basic Level; Granolah has the ability to utilize his Ki offensively but has shown little skill with it outside of sniping[5])
- Likely Self-Sustenance (Type 1; Fought Soshiru and his men on an asteroid[7])
- Minor Information Analysis (His AI assistant Oatmeal is able to run a scan of his enemies[8], and can warn Granolah about incoming attacks from his blindspot.[9] Oatmeel can also detect hidden projectiles and relay information such as how many projectiles there are and the distance to them[10])
- Electricity Manipulation and Paralysis Inducement (Granolah's Stun Gun fires an electrical blast that stuns and incapacites his targets[11])
Likely Resistance to:
- Extreme Cold and Cosmic Radiation (Presumably able to survive in outer space, which is colder[12][13] and filled with radiations)
Resistance to:
- Ice Manipulation (Ki can be used to break free after being frozen in ice)
All previous abilities significantly enhanced minus the loss of Longevity (Due to losing a significant amount of his life-span), with the addition of:
- Martial Arts (After becoming the "Strongest in the Universe", Granolah became highly proficient in hand-to-hand combat, being able to hold his own against Bann Belladonna, Ruby Rose and Vegeta Schnee, Raditz Ember who are four of the most skilled fighters in Universe 7)
- Acrobatics (Granolah is an extremely agile fighter, using jumps, backflips and somersaults in combat[14])
- Pressure Point Strikes (Granolah is capable of using both Ki blasts and physical strikes to target his opponent's vitals, disabling and incapacitating them with only a weak blow[15][16])
- X-Ray Vision (Granolah can see through Ruby and Bann's body down to their muscles and circulatory system, and from multiple miles away)
- Information Analysis and Analytical Prediction (Can tell of Bann and Ruby's use of Ultra Instinct and learned where to strike by watching their blood flow and muscle movement. Granolah is capable of identifying his opponent's weak points by using his right eye[17].)
- Superhuman Precision (He could see Ruby break herself down to her molecular components, and then reassembling them with Petal Burst)
- Enhanced Ki Manipulation (Master Level; Dragon Ball Super - Anime & Manga: After becoming the "Strongest in the Universe", Granolah became highly proficient in using his Ki; gaining several new abilities such as flight, sensing energy and projecting his Ki to create a defensive forcefield)
- Enhanced Energy Projection (Granolah gained greater proficiency in using Ki blasts with deadly accuracy from a far distance, using a barrage of them to snipe at Goku and Vegeta[18])
- Flight (Possesses the ability to fly and levitate with his Ki[19])
- Extrasensory Perception (Possesses the Ki Sense technique, allowing him to scan nearby planets to check for The Saiyan's presence)
- Forcefield Creation (Can create a spherical barrier around himself which can block incoming attacks but can be overcome with enough force[20])
- Shockwave Generation (Throws back the Heeters with a invisible Kiai shockwave[21])
- Aura
- Telekinesis (Able to use telekinesis to lift objects such as boulders from the ground[22])
- Teleportation (Possesses an unnamed Instant Teleportation technique, similar to Goku's Instant Transmission but apparently even faster[23])
- Duplication (Granolah can create illusion-like clones of himself by splitting up his power among them.[24] Granolah can create up to ten of these clones at once[25])
- Dimensional Travel, Sound Manipulation, Space-Time Manipulation and Portal Creation (At this level of power he can create dimensional rifts and destroy space-time and pocket dimensions with his energy)
- Non-Physical Interaction, Soul Destruction, Void Manipulation, Limited Spatial Manipulation, Matter Destruction and Existence Erasure (History; Granolah can use Hakai after becoming the "Strongest in the Universe", using it primarily to erase matter with an explosive blast of released energy[26]. With the Power of Destruction, Granolah can erase everything from existence, from living beings, souls, spirits to physical objects, energy[27] attacks. Scales to Toppo, who's Energy of Destruction warped the environment of the World of Void. Can erase[28] beings like Dr. Mashirito, and likely even Arale Norimaki, both of whom resisted narrative existence erasure[29][30] Power of Destruction also capable of destroying universes[31] along with their individual history[32])
- Deconstruction (Used Hakai to turn a piece of stone floor into dust[33])
- Limited Explosion Manipulation (When the Hakai erases a target, the matter destroyed releases massive amounts of energy in the form of an explosion proportionate to the size of the target)
- Limited Causality Manipulation (Beerus was capable of erasing Zamasu across space-time, without splitting the timeline.[34] Effectively destroyed Zamasu across all points in time despite Dragon Ball's cosmology solving time paradoxes by branching timeline into a new one to accommodate any changes in the past while still keeping the future unchanged[35])
- Magic (After becoming the "Strongest in the Universe", Granolah gained magical abilities reminiscent of Moro and other magic users. He can manipulate the energy of a planet he is on for offensive and defense purposes)
- Fire Manipulation and Magma Manipulation (By manipulating a planet's energy, he can have it rise up from the ground in a destructive, flaming pillar beneath his opponent[36]. Cinder is able to launch jets of fire as well as fireballs. Her flames were strong enough to melt through eight layers of Amity Colosseum, which Granolah should at least be superior to)
- Statistics Amplification (Magic is able to amplify the strength of a user's abilities)
- Energy Manipulation (Able to conjure and fire blasts of energy like Salem and Ozma[37])
- Telekinesis (Should scale to Salem, who easily crushed a giant Nevermore[38])
- Flight (All of the Maidens demonstrated the ability to fly, as did Ozma in his previous incarnations[39])
- Attack Reflection (Winter reflected a laser beam with her ice constructs)
- Elemental Manipulation (The Wizard granted the four Maidens elemental magic and mastery over the forces of nature[40] and thus Granolah should have it)
- Forcefield Creation (Both Cinder and Raven have demonstrated the ability to create elemental barriers[41])
- Ice Manipulation (All Magic users have shown the ability to manipulate ice, including projecting blasts of ice, launching bolts of ice capable of freezing people solid, freezing leaves to use as a barrage of blades, creating ice constructs, and directly freezing opponents solid)
- Air Manipulation (Both Amber and Penny showed the ability to create offensive blasts of wind, while Cinder created a vortex around her)
- Electricity Manipulation (Raven is able to channel electricity into her strikes, and Amber launched bolts of lightning)
- Earth Manipulation (Cinder combined chunks of rock with fire to create a flaming rock sword)
- Plant Manipulation (The original Spring Maiden demonstrated the ability to create plants[42])
- Temperature Manipulation (Fria was able to lower the temperature in her surroundings to the point that the air and surroundings were being encased in ice and the air physically burned those around her[43])
- Weapon Creation (Penny, Raven, and Cinder have all demonstrated the ability to conjure various elemental weapons)
- Weapon Control (Both Penny and Cinder are able to freely control the weapons they create independent of themselves)
- Explosion Manipulation (Cinder can cause her weapons to explode after launching them as projectiles)
- Breath Attack (Cinder demonstrated the ability to breathe fire)
- Absorption (Penny is able to absorb electricity, which she used to supercharge her lasers[44])
- Accelerated Development (Battle; Physical Stats, Abilities - Granolah improves himself in combat in a short span of time, refining his movements as he battles Vegeta[45])
- Awakened Power (Awakened the ability to transform his left eye just like his right, improving his capabilities[46])
- Holy Manipulation with Silver Eyes (Uses the same energy as the God of Light that is latter revealed to be Preservation Energy, which petrifies, paralyzes, or disintegrates the God of Darkness' creations, such as the Grimm. Because when he activates his Silver Eyes they have Preservation Energy and it can nullify Destruction Energy as Whis explained. Used it to nullify Gas' Hakai)
- Aura (Gained a aura from the wish and is now able to use his Aura for numerous purposes)
- Forcefield Creation (Aura can be used as a full-body forcefield)
- Statistics Amplification (Can use Aura to enhance his striking power)
- Enhanced Senses (Can use his Aura to sharpen his senses)
- Regeneration (Mid-Low. His Aura healed his broken twisted hand, his stab wounds from getting stabbed in all four of his limbs, and the beatings he took from multiple fights)
- Non-Physical Interaction (Aura users are capable of harming intangible beings, such as Geists.[47])
Resistance to:
- Existence Erasure (History), Soul Destruction, Void Manipulation, Limited Spatial Manipulation, Matter Destruction and Deconstruction (Can withstand Ultra Ego Vegeta's aura. After evolving his left eye, Granolah fired a ki attack that easily destroyed Ultra Ego Vegeta's Sphere of Destruction)
- Extreme Heat and Cold (Aura protects the user from sub-zero temperatures, allowing them to be encased in ice without being cold, walk through a blizzard in casual clothing[48], and traverse the kingdom of Atlas, which resides in Remnant's North Pole,[49] without wearing any protective gear, as well as extreme heat up to and including the heat of flames,[50], being blasted with steam[51] being struck by lighting for an extended period of time,[52][53][54] and being submerged in lava without being burned[55])
- Transmutation (Aura has been shown multiple times to save others from getting turned into candy by Buu)
- Possession (A trained Aura can protect someone from a Nightmare grimm taking over their body more easier than a weak, untrained one)
- Power Absorption (For Cinder to absorb a Maiden's power using the Beetle, she had to break their Aura shield, meaning Aura protects from baseline power absorption)
- Electricity Manipulation (Aura can protect from getting struck by lightning from lightning dust attacks and magic attacks, although it still makes them feel the pain of it. Got electrocuted by Quart for a prolonged period of time in the air by her Magic Lightning and kept on fighting)
Limited Resistance to:
- Soul Manipulation (People with Aura can survive with chunks of their souls missing, abilet it weakens them[56]. Additionally, attempting to transfer Aura to the Grimm instead causes them to attempt to drain it from the user. Someone had a good chunk of his soul absorbed by a grimm and lived[57])
Attack Potency: at least Planet level, Possibly Large Planet level (Prior to his wish to Toronbo, Granolah's strength surpassed the likes of Nappa[Statistics Values 1] and probably the Ginyu Force[Statistics Values 2][58]) | Low Multiverse level (Became the strongest mortal in Universe 7, with it being stated that all of team RRBS combined would be needed to defeat him. While suppressed, his weaker clone was capable of fighting against Super Saiyan God Bann and Ultimate Ruby at the same time. Upon powering up, fought evenly with Super Saiyan Blue Bann and Ultra Synergy Ruby. With his true body, he defeated Ultra Instinct Bann and Ruby with a single blow to their vitals, albeit he waited for the accuracy of their Ultra Instinct to decrease and hit them while they were distracted. is stronger than Bann, Vegeta, Raditz, Ruby and Quart[Statistics Values 3]), higher with Charged Attack (At the cost of his own lifespan, Granolah can fire a attack so powerful that it could damage Gas in his zombie state), his Silver Eyes ignores the durability of Grimm
Speed: At least Relativistic+ combat speed, Possibly FTL combat speed | Massively FTL+ (Comparable to Bann and Vegeta, Raditz, Ruby. Capable of matching the speed of Super Saiyan God Bann and Ultimate Ruby while both were using Ultra Instinct and later Super Saiyan Blue Bann and Ultimate God Ruby. His true body was capable of moving faster than Bann and Ruby could react to with their Ultra Instinct transformation)
Lifting Strength: At least Class T (Upscales from both Ambrosius and Salem), likely far higher
Striking Strength: at least Planet level, Possibly Large Planet level | Low Multiverse level (Dropped Ruby and Bann out of their Perfected Ultra Instinct with a pressure point strike after the accuracy of the form decreased. Significantly harmed Ultra Ego Vegeta after letting out more power)
Durability: at least Planet level, Possibly Large Planet level | Low Multiverse level (Withstood blows from Ultra Ego Vegeta), Varies from higher up to Far higher at peak with Aura (Aura functions as a forcefield with a cumulative durability, depicted as a 'health bar', and allows him to take dozens of hits from opponents as strong as himself without any significant injury. Aura's damage cap is 70 times, due to character's aura protecting them from 70 attacks, surviving multiple attacks from characters 4 to 10 times stronger than them, and even 50 times stronger than them)
Stamina: Superhuman (Should be at least comparable to if not superior to Beacon Arc Team RWBY, who can fight hordes of Grimm for a day straight before tiring. Fought Bann and Ruby at once and took multiple of their attacks and afterwords fought Vegeta and Raditz at the same time and after taking a beating from the two of their attacks he broke his limits and kept fight despite not having any aura, kept fighting even after getting electrocuted by Quart and he still contused to fight partially healed Bann and ruby and then getting stabbed in all four of his limbs by Gas and still contused to fight despite not healing from the previous fights)
Range: Standard melee range. Planetary with ki blasts and attacks | Standard melee range, Interplanetary with Extrasensory Perception, Low Multiversal and Interdimensional with ki-based attacks and Instant Transmission
- Goggles: A lens that Granolah wears on his right eye, enhancing his sniping abilities. They also allow him to stay in contact with his assistant Oatmeal, who can aid him in battle.
- Stun Gun: A non-lethal weapon used to paralyze the opponents. The efficacy of this weapon is enhanced by Granolah's skill in sniping.
- Scarf: A long piece of fabric with no special properties. However, Granolah is able to use it for a variety of purposes, such as cover his face during stealth maneuvers or even turn it into a weapon, binding the hands of the opponent and slamming them onto the ground.
Intelligence: Gifted, Genius in combat (A skilled bounty hunter with a presumably high experience. Is well-versed in sniping, stealth maneuvers and close combat, and his abilities are stated to be a cut above the rest. Can be rather crafty and strategic; cloaked himself in the smoke of an explosion, used his communicator as a decoy to lure some enemies and destroyed the floor during his battle with Oil to make him fall down. He held his own fighting Ruby, Bann and Vegeta, Raditz)
Weaknesses: Obsessed with revenge towards the Saiyan race and Frieza, which causes him to make hasty decisions and lose his cool when hearing their names | Same as before, his lifespan is reduced to only three more months. Due to the lack of training after wishing to become the strongest warrior in the universe, Granolah isn't used to his new power yet and is inexperienced in battle, as pointed out by Vegeta. The more clones he makes, the more power he splits from himself and any damage the clones take, his real self takes the damage as well. Continual damage to his Aura will cause it to decay to the point where he can be left open to more significant damage. Aura's durability is cumulative; it will deplete with each attack he takes and can be brought down by characters of similar strength. Constant exposure to extreme temperature can drain the user's aura.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
Ki: The fighting power and life force of a martial artist, a tangible energy derived from the user's vigor, courage, and mind. It can be used in a number of ways, such as to surpass the limits of one's body to greatly increase in strength, and it can be fired as blasts of energy or used to create defensive barriers.
Ki Blast - Most basic form of energy wave. Granolah tends to use this by holding out his index and middle fingers, while keeping his thumb up, rather than his open hand, simulating the appearance of firing a gun.
- Finger Beam: Granolah fires a beam from the tips of his middle and index fingers. He can use this technique with great precision and hit many targets in quick succession and even from afar.
- Finger Blitz Barrage - Granolah rapid-fires a volley of ki blasts from his fingertip. He is shown to possess perfect accuracy with this technique. During his fight against Ultra Ego Vegeta, Granolah's skill evolved the point where he can use these rapid-fire volleys from both hands simultaneously while retaining their accuracy.
- Alteration-type ki manipulation technique - Granolah takes up a position akin to that of drawing out a arrow from its bow, generating a line of ki between the fingertips of his extended arms. He then releases the line, firing a large ki blast from his extended arm.
- Self-sacrificing attack - Granolah unites both hands in a gun-like gesture and charges a massive ball of energy from his extended fingertips. Granolah attempted to use it twice to kill Vegeta, Raditz and Elec on separate occassions but failed both times. This is seemingly Granolah's most powerful offensive move as he used it to take down the transformed and much stronger Gas. It can also be used as a suicide move by pouring all his ki into a single blast.
- Scatter Finger Beam - Granolah fires energy beams from all of his fingertips.
- Charged Finger Beam - Granolah charges up a great deal of power into his finger beam attack (in a similar vein to the Special Beam Cannon) and then unleashes it upon his foe.
- Full Power Energy Wave - Granolah fires a powerful wave of energy.
Telekinesis - A technique that allows the user to manipulate objects and other people with the power of one's mind. After wishing to become the strongest warrior in the Universe, Granolah levitates a boulder into the air before destroying it. Thanks to his Pure Progress, Granolah's control and might increases over the course of his fight against Ultra Ego Vegeta and Raditz. He combines this with Hakai to create an omnidirectional explosion on the Saiyan's.
Hakai - After wishing to become the strongest warrior in the Universe, Granolah gains the ability to reduce things to dust, as he did to a rock thrown at him, or create explosions. The technique bears a heavy resemblance to Hakai, something that Vegeta and Raditz noted when they first encountered him. Macki compares it to magic.
Spirit Control - After wishing to become the strongest warrior in the Universe, Granolah gains Spirit Control at least on a level able to utilize Instant Transmission.
- Instant Transmission - After wishing to become the strongest warrior in the Universe, Granolah gains the ability to teleport, this ability is noted by Vegeta to be similar to Instant Transmission, only faster.
Magic - Upon becoming the strongest in the universe, Granolah gained the ability to perform feats of magic.
- Life Energy Manipulation - After wishing to become the greatest warrior in the Universe, Granolah gained the magic ability to manipulate life energy.
- Fire and Flames - Granolah is able to manipulate the life energy of the planet he is on for offensive and defense usage, such usage appears as a flaming pillar. He is capable of doing this until the planet he is utilizing runs out of energy.
- Energy Shield - Granolah creates a barrier of energy around himself for protection.
Silver Eyes: A mysterious and powerful ability Granolah gained from his wish. the Silver Eyes manifests as blindingly bright light emitted from Granolah's eyes. It was revealed that this energy originates from the God of Light, which is able to destroy the creations of the God of Darkness, such as the Grimm. Effects include petrifying them typically, but also sometimes disintegrates them or paralyzes them. He has Preservation Energy because of this, and can nullify Destruction Energy. Granolah can activate his silver eyes or not
Full Power: Pushed to his limit and in a life or death situation, Granolah finally succeeds in drawing out the greatest power in the universe, unlocking the power to transform his left eye into an evolved red eye, improving his abilities even further than before. This state is not a permanent change however, and Granolah will drop out of it eventually, though it can be taken on at will once attained.
