Summary[]
Hi-no-Kagutsuchi, or more commonly known as just Kagutsuchi, is the main antagonist of the entire story. He is one of the first gods to ever exist in the world, being the first son of Izanagi and Izanami. His great power once threatened even Izanami and caused great damage to Takamagahara, causing him to be sealed by his parents and being casted away to the physical world.
Enraged by this, he began to plan his revenge against the gods and destroy Takamagahara, wishing to burn everything into nothingness. As countless years pass, he slowly regains more and more of his power, and orchestrated a divine battle between the countless gods. Though this later caused the appearance of the so-called God-Slayer named Tokiwa.
As his plans were slowly disrupted by the God-Slayer, Kagutsuchi eventually confronted him by himself, and the two fought each other in an endless battle that lasted for many ages. At the very end of their long war, Tokiwa eventually rose as the victor and defeated Kagutsuchi.
Though at the very end, his parents who felt pity for him accepted him back at Takamagahara, where he learnt to suppress his own power and anger. Eventually, the divine war would end and peace is restored back to all Creation.

Apotheosis Physiology (神化): Those who go through the process of Apotheosis are called Shinka, who are on the path to becoming a true Deity. The physiology of a Shinka are immensely different from regular beings, they are transcendent ones who exist within a higher level of existence than normal, becoming the Hegemony of all Creation. Shinka are superior to regular concepts and laws, and they draw energy directly from Takamagahara in the higher realm. The regular abilities possessed by Shinka are as follows:
- Transcendent Existence: As transcendent beings that exist within a higher level of existence, the Shinka are purely non-physical, existing as pure non-existence that lacks even a concept, this is because the Shinka are superior to such things. They are at the most fundamental level 'deeper' than conventional reality, thus being disconnected from existence itself, transcending the concepts and laws that govern all reality.
- Immortality: Shinka are truly immortal, as they are transcendent beings in a higher existence. By drawing power directly from Takamagahara and combined with their transcendent nature, they are unable to be traditionally killed and as such they will regenerate from any damage or destruction, including erasure that destroys even non-existence itself. Higher-dimensional interference on the level of Takamagahara is needed to destroy a Shinka.
- Acausality: As a part of their nature as transcendent beings, they also naturally transcend causality. Being outside the normal flow of cause and effect, the Shinka are outside of conventional logic as well, existing in a 'deeper' secondary system created by Takamagahara itself. Due to being disconnected from conventional causality and logic, abilities that operate similarly are needed to even affect them.
- Divinity: Shinka are those who go through the process of Apotheosis (Godification) and on a path to becoming a true Deity, and so they have a certain level of Divinity that separates them from regular beings. The Divinity of a Shinka causes them to be immune to conventional attacks and techniques, and one needs to possess Divinity as well to be able to bypass their immunity. Divinity also allows them to transcend a regular being's resistance, and not even a defense of infinite walls could compare to Divinity, where attacks that bypass said infinite walls fail to reach them.
- Metaphysical Incursion: The attacks of Shinka attack at all aspects and states, be it physical, spiritual, mental, or even conceptual. Their attacks target all of these at once, at every single level where defense is irrelevant, even a defense on the level of Divinity is able to be destroyed by Shinka. Non-physical beings, those who no longer exist in conventional reality, those who reside in a higher plane, abstract concepts, or even a truly non-existent object, they are all able to be 'touched' by the Shinka and thus subject to all their attacks.
- Law Emanation: A Shinka is able to create their own Laws and project them onto the world, painting over reality to their own wishes and desire. The strength of a Shinka's Law depends on the Shinka themselves and how strong their wish is, a Shinka with a weaker wish will be painted over by the Shinka with a stronger wish. In this case, Kagutsuchi's Law that is to burn all things into nothing is one of the strongest Laws due to his extreme wish that is unnaturally strong even when compared to other Shinka, being stated to be the 'absolute limit of desire'.
Kagutsuchi's Flames: Divine flames that are said to be able to burn through even the strongest defenses, reducing anything in front of it into nothingness. Even fellow Shinka of high-rank, who possess defenses and power far greater than a lower-rank Shinka, could only accept their impending doom when faced against this divine power of true destruction. Merely gazing at the flames would burn someone's existence into pure nothingness, and avoiding the flames is nigh-impossible as it will target one's very being itself.
- Pillar of Judgment: Kagutsuchi's ability that is inherent to the Divine, that is the ability to destroy the non-Divine. A pillar of flame that strikes down onto the earth from Heaven itself and destroys any attempt of resistance. This ability is most useful against those who don't possess any Divinity, as regular beings are powerless against a Divine attack utilized by a God, none of their defenses would be of any effect against this ability.
Event Horizon: A power of pure darkness that creates a hyperdimensional black hole which will consume everything around it within millions of light years range, and will keep growing and becoming more powerful without end after that. It will eventually grow large enough to consume the entire universe itself, and cause an inter-dimensional explosion that will collapse the higher-dimensions as well. The ultimate power of true destruction that not even the Divine can escape from, this is the power born from the darkness of Kagutsuchi's hate.
- Collapse To Void: A ball of darkness appears in Kagutsuchi's hands and is fired towards the enemy, the ball will then start to grow and drag everything into it, turning everything into nothingness. The difference between this one and Event Horizon is that while the range is much smaller, the effect is much more focused and stronger, with even those whose speed far transcends Kagutsuchi's own will be sucked in without any chance to evade, and everything that enters it will be converted into nothingness.
True Flame of Fire God Kagutuschi: The true flame of the Fire God. After Kagutsuchi regains his power as the Fire God due to being unsealed, and when all the gates are unlocked, he will restore himself to his former glory. All his flames burn at Planck temperature that could turn even the entire universe to ash, and he was even able to create an entire star as big as the sun that burns at Planck temperature as well. Merely being near the flames will destroy a person's existence, and even the strongest Shinka will be reduced into true nothingness that breaks even the strongest God.
- Final Awakening- Ashen World: Kagutsuchi's flames grow stronger, enough to engulf the entire universe and turn it into ash. This is the ultimate ability that could even burn the root of all Creation, where Takamagahara's residents fear it, the flame that once threatened Izanami herself. Not even the higher dimensions are safe from its world-shattering power, a final technique worthy to be called "God's Wrath".
