The Mad Dog stepped back from the brutalized heep that laid in front of him, letting them try to find their bearings. "You've been spending plenty of energy keeping up this facade, haven't you? But when fighting someone who hardly cares for such a thing, you're outmatched. I'm fighting from the heart, boy. The heart of tearing my opponent apart so such doesn't happen to me." The Mad Dog kicked Gal in the side, bouncing him upwards into the air, before rolling back onto the ground. "... So, how's that?" |

Summary[]
Fen was born in a village long since destroyed, living ignorantly of the war around him until it was too late, and his entire life was uprooted. Though, upon seeing such a grizzly sight, he simply made peace with it, and went on to join a band of mercenaries, fighting in wars he could care less about for coin that barely mattered to him.
Eventually, after yet another fight he could care less about, he found a girl he didn't quite understand. Viveca, who insisted on being close to him. He was cynical, but, he obliged, and eventually warmed up to them, just a little bit...
Then they were obliterated, with everyone else. So he kept to what he knew. When he was to be executed, he used his own life force for kill everyone on the scene, before possessing Sol and, with the takeover of their body, wiping out the city with a wave of darkness.
And he kept to that for hundreds of years more, until he felt a familiar presence. A descendant of the man he hated... And upon seeing the supposed hero, Gal, he immediately rushed forth, being seemingly destroyed in a single blast, but still maintaining his form enough to possess Gal. From there, he tortured him over the course of days, never allowing him to properly sleep.
But from that battle, Fen eventually realized the legitimacy of his heroic status, that he truly believed in what he was fighting for, much like the girl he knew long ago. So, for once in his life, he gladly surrendered, and let his essence be carried on by Gal... Until he was once again forced out, by the hand of Chaos itself. But his newfound faith in Gal didn't waver, so he gladly stepped into the abyss in hopes to save him, and the future he stood for.
Appearance[]
Fen is not one for fashion. His attire at all times is simply leather armor, boots, and the sheathe of his sword on his side. His long black hair runs down to his neck, just about as rough as his general disposition at any given moment.
As the Mad Dog, he's nothing more than a construct made of darkness, assembled into the shape of a wolf.
Personality[]
Fen carries himself with utter nonchalance. He registers most things as just yet another inconvenience in his living day by day, even life or death situations such as the rush of combat. He doesn't truly have much to believe in, though, once he is granted something, he will cling onto it with great fervor, and react with equal ferocity if it is ripped away from him. At the end of his existence, he even gave his own life and identity for something to believe in.
