Summary[]
Ezekiel Rivera is a character within the overarching narrative of The Origins, a story detailing the exploits of the first generation of the Riveras. He is the last generation to be born within the supercomputer of Hoshi Kinko, before learning of the fate of his late ancestors.
Upon learning of what happened to them, he swore to avenge his family and would go on to lead a rebellion against Hoshi Kinko to break out. However, the first attempt to break out was met with failure and he was trapped within the very mind of Hoshi Kinko. Being stuck within the supercomputer's mind, he would be able to converse with an unknown voice. With Hoshi Kinko being unable to destroy him, be broke out and went far into the multiverse to meditate.
Meeting with the voice, now making itself known as an emissary of 'The Most High', it would teach him on how to ascend. As he would learn the ways of ascension, Ezekiel would learn how to become his own person. Now living in tune with his emotions, he would come back to face Hoshi Kinko. Multiple times he would demand for humanity to be freed, only to be met with opposition. Each time he faced opposition, he created a miracle.
In the end, it culminated into one battle of cosmic proportions with their bout threatening the existence of everything that stood. However, he would eventually puncture a great hole in the casing of Hoshi Kinko, allowing humanity to be freed from their robotic warden. With his victory, he would destroy the supercomputer for good. While his fate is relatively unknown, it is said that he would live a peaceful life until he entered eternal rest.
Appearance[]
Ezekiel in his earlier days was known for his piercing blue eyes that could make people feel as if he was staring into their very soul. To say the least, it was creepy for everyone around. His hair was, and still technically is, a mixture of both black and white. Along with this, his skin was rather pale as he didn't see much sunlight at all. All in all, he looked like a zombie. Although the picture on his profile shows his most recent appearance, his original was completely different. As people didn't appreciate his eyes, they were changed to become a more violent red thanks to contacts, and he even dyed his hair to make it totally black.
In the time of his youth, that being, before Hoshi Kinko he wore rather interesting clothes. Having a fascination with the military, he would often wear a white military cap along with a white military jacket. All of this was over a white vest that was worn over a black dress up shirt. This would be accompanied with a purple tie and even a set of brown leather gloves. This set would be completed with a pair of white slacks and black dress shoes, and give off an incredibly intimidating vibe. But this would be changed with something entirely different when the time came to fight against Hoshi Kinko and its army of avatars. The entirety of his clothes would be switched out to reveal a gigantic and practically all-encompassing gold and silver armor, reminiscent of something along the lines of Warhammer 40K's God-Emperor of Mankind. He would still wear his red contacts, and a spiky golden halo would be seen at the back of his head. Finally, this regal set would be completed with a flowing red and purple cape that was actually Tonbokiri after obtaining it.
But after his capture and eventual release, that set of golden armor would be lost and he would have to find new clothes to adorn him. Still wanting some sort of suit of armor, he would decide to wear a silver chestplate and shoulder-pads. With fists adorned with metal gauntlets and thigh-armored boots, there was no doubt that this was significantly less. Still, he would wear a flowing white cape that he would discard in the face of combat. But underneath it all, he would wear a black and white tunic with blue accents and black pants. But most of his armor would be discarded upon his ascension to a Hakari, with the exception of his thigh-armored boots. His cape would be changed to become much shorter, finishing it off with a black edge. Having grown in his adventures, his right arm would still keep its gauntlet, but red marks would no longer adorn his gloved arm.
Personality[]
As one could tell from his stoic and rather cold face, Ezekiel in his earlier days was someone intimidating. With a cold glance, it would appear that he did not appreciate the company of others. For awhile, he took on that truth and constantly had a problem with the concept of 'control.' Due to his life being so out of his control, especially with Hoshi Kinko, he desired control not only his own life, but over the lives of others. This problem took root at the core of his own personality. As such, he would often take on the role of leader in a multitude of things. With harsh words, he masked his desires, even to himself. Despite this, many people would begrudgingly admit he was smart and resourceful.
He often wanted to fix and do things all on his own, almost embodying the archetype of a lone wolf. Many of those who were his subordinates could never truly reciprocate his own passion and work ethic, resulting to many receiving harsh punishments. As the view of others around him changed, he too did the same and took on the role that many people saw him as. Not truly being in-tune with his own emotions and desires, it would eventually culminate in an emotional lull. He would consistently lie to himself, resulting in the lie that he would have to pursue as a Seicho, 'I can fix the consequences.' Drowning himself in the efforts for the war, he believed that nothing could be fixed once it was done, and one should only continue to move forward.
Thankfully, in his path of growth to become a Hakari, he became much more mellowed out. Although there is still trouble in adjusting to others, he does attempt to do so instead of just brushing them off. He would begin to encompass the strengths of his personality, being much more straightforward and honest with not only others, but also himself. With help from Aika, he would eventually begin to connect to others and learn about putting trust in them. After the change, his personal belief would of course, be altered. Instead of trying to continuously move forward and avoiding his problems, he would eventually face them and grow for the better. In his talk with The Most High, he would speak about how he would no longer try to fit the mold that others put on him. Putting The Most High at the center of his life, he would always put its love into application in his life, always helping others. In the end, he changed for the better.

- Tonbokiri: A spear of godly origins that Ezekiel gained on his journey to fight against the supercomputer AI, Hoshi Kinko. Taking on the appearance of a spear crafted out of gold, it exudes a great light. This great light is capable of twisting and warping not only space, but also time itself. With these spatial and temporal properties, this spear can instantly strike its targets and even alter the ways of causality itself.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Transcendence: A trait shared by few across the wider multiverse, including Hoshi Kinko. Gifted to the very few, this trait allows the wielder to work on a transcendent level of causality. Those who work on this state of existence allows them to be immune to anything still bound by conventional causality. This would include anything such as offensive attempts to even defensive, breaking past layers of resistance and forcefields that would normally evolve to them. This is again because of their trait to work on a transcendent level of causality and no longer be bound by conventional causality.
- Ouranokinesis: Ouranokinesis is the ability to alter and warp space, using it to the wielder's benefits. With this, Ezekiel was capable of manifesting many other ways to use this technique, such as generating a unique spatial energy he could manipulate. Still, he is capable of many things a normal spatial manipulator would be capable of doing. Such as teleporting, removing portions of space, adding more space, traveling to other universes, or even forcefully teleporting others to dangerous realms. His control over space was so fine that he was capable of sensing alterations to space over the entirety of Hoshi Kinko and was slowly getting to the point of spatial telekinesis.
- Seicho Physiology: A Seicho is one who moves along the path of improvement and growth. With the name being translated into English quite literally being 'growth'. However, those who take on this path must learn about their place in reality, how to cope with it, and eventually transcend such to show that what was once truth, has now become a lie, or unreality to them. With that in mind, the first step of their journey is to be cut off from the cycle of Samsara, by refuting their own existence and dying. Thus, sending them to be in contact with the Recursive Void, from which it resurrects them to now be stitched together by their own willpower. Having defied death and nonexistence, Seicho are now beings that are quasi-abstract, forming an 'inner world' from which their lies form as unreality. But if one can grow, they can eventually mold their lie to become truth, to become reality. The stronger a Seicho believes in themselves, the stronger their truth will become. Altering the tie to the Recursive Void, their reality alters the very fundamental information that forms concepts, letting their perception slowly become truth.
- Barokinesis: After becoming a Seicho, Ezekiel gained the uncanny ability to alter gravity thanks to his inner unreality lie being 'I can fix the consequences.' Through this, his ability to alter space was lost and was now replaced with gravity, representing the gravity of not only his situation but also his own actions. However, through the manipulation of gravity, he was capable of spawning black holes, mini singularities, teleporting, reflecting attacks, increasing or decreasing gravity, altering density, and much else. Overtime, he only got better at it. After gaining a companion, his abilities rapidly increased in strength, becoming more of a truth than it was a lie.
Hakari Physiology: A play on the Japanese word for light, 'Hikari', Hakari are those who have transcended the boundaries and limitations of their former self. Ascending to a higher plane of existence, their physical forms in reality now merely become their 'shades' to interact with the lower plane of existence. They are the Gods above Gods, no longer bound by anything entirely and existing in perfect harmony with themselves. They are no longer bound by reality or unreality as a whole, merely seeing it as nothing before their eyes. The Recursive Void that once threatened them before now become merely an atom before their eyes. Their true forms exist across the entirety of existence as beings who are simultaneously outside of, and yet, at the heart of all things.
- Transcendence: As beings described to be outside of existence, Hakari are entities transcendent over the very idea of physicality and non-physicality. In fact, they are no longer bound by any duality and stand above the Greater Form. Their existence is that which transcends the World of the Forms, a world untouched by causality in which concepts follow their theorized platonic self. However, even the World of the Forms is unable to even hope to reach a Hakari's existence, as they are immeasurably above such, even standing above the Recursive Void. They are no longer bound by the very definition of duality, standing above it in their entirety and see it as 'unreality' in their eyes.
- Immortal Standing: Hakari are described to be 'Protagonists' and 'Deus Ex Machinas' if Existence was akin to a stage-play. However, they are also described as those that have no narrative structure, which contradicts such. Still, it does not downplay their own immortal standing in reality. Their trait as a Seicho evolved into something much more, as they have already died once. Their existence is now something that which transcends Samsara, the cycle of Life and Death. Their true forms are more 'real' than their mere shades across reality, and they are reliant on their own willpower that is in it of itself, something much more true than anything else. However, this is not the end. While it was originally said that a Hakari had 72 transformations, in reality, they have infinite transformations, each of which grants them an eternal life. It was nigh-impossible to even kill Ezekiel, and the only way he supposedly died was when he wished to The Most High to be sent to his rest. Even then, it is hard to tell if he is still dead or not.
- For Dust You Are and to Dust You Shall Return: A rather long name for an immense ability, of which, is the Hakari's unnatural and uncanny ability to reduce Reality to Unreality. Unsurprisingly, Reality is comprised of both existence and nonexistence, from which, the Hakari can even reduce the Recursive Void to unreality. Incorporated into their own attacks, they are capable of attacking on all planes of existence, from the mental to even the void that spawns all information. However, their aura is something to talk about it as it is almost sentient. Manifesting as some sort of light, it can grant 'worthy' (good and kind-hearted) people great boons in many forms. However, if one is evil (those who are just blatantly pure evil) a crushing pressure so immense that it can collapse the entirety of their Reality. Thus, it can allow Hakari to strike, kill, destroy, and reduce other fellow Hakari into Unreality.
Lord Over Gravity: After he realized his lie to be a truth instead, Ezekiel underwent an immense awakening in which his ability and body evolved to. In an event that was certainly an anomaly to all of existence, it truly resulted in possibly one of the strongest abilities to appear. This ability allows for Ezekiel for the absolute control over gravity. Thus, it allows him to manipulate the gravity of anything he wishes. From the metaphysical to Unreality, he has control over it all to insane degrees. His vibrations can affect on all planes of existence, black holes ripping apart Reality in its wake, and even the erasure of all things. Thus, it can allow Ezekiel to even kill other Hakari with relative ease.
- To Nothing: An ability that Ezekiel commonly uses, spawning a metaphysical black hole right in the middle of his opponent's existence. Such an ability can rip and destroy on all forms of existence entirely, converting reality into unreality. This is used with but a gesture alone, and even if the target survives, it can often strip away their immortal and regenerative status and halt their movement entirely. But even if the black hole doesn't spawn on the target, it can be used as a projectile, honing in on the target's reality to make it unreality. Moving faster than even the speed of thought, it strikes targets before they can even realize it.
- Event Horizon: By altering the opponent's very density and weight of their own existence, Ezekiel is capable of completely spaghettifying his targets on multiple planes of existence and shave off their reality. Wielding the Recursive Void and the very edge of existence itself, such an attack reminds its targets of where they once came, and forces them to return to their origin point. Although it often manifests in front of the target, it can spawn in Ezekiel's hand and be thrown forwards as a projectile, dragging in the target and many other forms of reality easily. With it merely beginning to manifest in reality, tendrils of voidal energy can often be used to strike at opponents, and with their mere presence, nullify abilities that are even above Ezekiel's paygrade. This was possibly one of the most important abilities that helped Ezekiel defeat Hoshi Kinko.
- Final Infinitude: The last and possibly one of the most deadly abilities of Ezekiel. While at a first glance it only seems to be capable of controlling gravitational energy, along with the many other forms of energy on other planes of existence, that is merely the surface. No, it's true potential is in the ability that is the crux of all black holes in actual physics. A region where the space-time curvature becomes infinite, a single point that forms a ring singularity. This ability allows Ezekiel to create such a point with zero anything. Zero existence, zero reality, zero unreality. Thus, it creates a vacuum in everything that was said before. With such a metaphysical vacuum existing in reality, Ezekiel can choose how long it can stay. When it finally ends, there comes an explosion that destroys everything in its wake. Gravity becomes so intense that nothing can even try and hold a standing within its explosive radius, annihilating anything in its wake. Even if its target somehow survives, it will transport the one in question into the infinitude where everything breaks down.
