Summary[]
Exetior (formerly stylized as Exe-Tior) is the primary antagonist of the Sonic.exe: Nightmare Universe.
Once part of the totalitarian Highest race, he unexpectedly turned into a demon due to interference from Chaos. After defying the All-Father's orders to preserve his greatest creation, he raised an army of demons against the race only for them to be completely obliterated by a powerful gemstone. Years later, he appears on Mobius and possesses Sonic the Hedgehog to enact his goal of transforming the entire planet into a demonic habitat.
Unlike most other variations of Sonic.exe, the story of Exetior is more rooted in sympathy for his actions rather than an outright eldritch monster that toys with humans for their own benefit. His actions can either be seen as good or evil depending on the perspective of the player.
His name is a portmanteau of "Exceptional Creator".

Weaknesses: Loses his composure when not in control of a situation. Because his Highest nature was transformed by Chaos, he is now weak to Phantom Energy and can be permanently injured by it[59]. Using Super Exetior could cause Sonic to go berserk[60]. He cannot use Half-Highest for too long as it will kill Sonic[43]. Travelling through time with the Time Stones would ultimately have to make a similar future that required him to time travel in the first place[61], as not doing this would break time.[62] | Same as before, but no longer possesses his Sonic-related weaknesses as he is not inside his body. - Chaos Blast A powerful shockwave of Chaos Energy fired in every direction.
- Chaos Control: Because he lost the Highest power of Omniscience, he now substitutes with a teleportation technique that allows him to transport either himself or entire cosmic structures to places he remembers.
- Blade Demonization: Exetior reanimates a deceased corpse by creating a new body stronger than their original. Unlike other Blade Demons, Exetior's demonized victims retain their personality and will often keep their autonomy.
Feats: Exetior is one of the strongest characters within the NU, being able to even kill the Highest. He has all of Sonic's innate abilities while possessing him, as well as being able to utilize his demonic powers on top of it.
NOTE: Do not attempt to give Exetior abilities the other Highest have, as he lost most of them after his demonization.
