Summary[]
EpicSonicGlitchy8 (ESG8 for short, also known as “Glitchy” in Sonic in Real Life!? and during the rap battle in War of the Hedgehogs) is predominantly a Sonic machinimist, serving as a major protagonist in the first two seasons before promoted into a main character and one of the two main protagonists (alongside Sonic) of the ESG8 series.
ESG8 heavily practices self-insertion, as he usually appears as a red lookalike of Sonic, serving as one of the main protagonists (besides Sonic himself) of the bloopers. From his debut, ESG8's character has been passionate and protective of his work; that aside, he seems to play the sane man who is often annoyed or shocked by Sonic's crazy, flamboyant idiocy. Despite this, they are friends in most videos, especially in the recent ones.
Personality[]
ESG8 acts as the only sane man in the hills, constantly having to hand out with his friends who are mostly idiots though in Modern Days, he can act dumb when he fell for Shadow's and Rogue's trick. ESG8 is very anti-social and lazy as he mostly doesn't want to help his friends in situations unless needed. He puts his friends in weird situations, he puts his friends in High School and College to make them smarter, or in Sonic Hustle for his own benefit. He loves mocking Sonic and making him angry which enrages Sonic and they fight very often.

He is much like Sonic except his color coding, he wears white shoes and gloves. He also have red fur and green eyes.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Superhuman Strength: ESG8 is almost as strong as Sonic, being able to punch and throw people very far away, kicked ESG7 into the street below so hard, it resulted in a crater. However, he cannot physically lift as many things as Sonic can.
- Meme Bomb: ESG8 created a gigantic ball of energy by gathering energy from internet memes (similar in concept to the Spirit Bomb technique from Dragon Ball). It has enough power to destroy the entire surrounding area of Green Zone Hills, turning it into a charred wreck.
- Anaerobic Functioning: ESG8 appeared in space (which has a fatal temperature) without any protective garments.
