Summary[]
Appearing as a normal Site Director Assistant at Site 96, Dr. Mike Alder is an athletic scientist working under Dr. Jared Jones. Although he is an athletic person, he is not to be promoted to any other level due to his constant ways of thinking and manipulation. Although he is a non-canon and partial canon character within the SCP Fanon articles, he does hold some rights to "complete freedom." However, although Dr. Mike Alder is mature for the most part, he is seen as a small troublemaker in Site 96, breaking into classified databases for "fun."
With that being said, there is no true Dr. Mike Alder. Once implanted into a narrative, Dr. Mike Alder shall assume the role of a secretive researcher with a mysterious past. This is until he eventually finds out that he's in a piece of fiction. After this happens, he shall break free from the narrative and immerse himself into higher or lowers ones. This action causes more of him to be implanted into tales, however.
Additionally, despite Dr. Mike Alder also being a more natural sounding name, it is simply nothing more than an alias. It it hinted that Dr. Mike Alder's true name is Dhazotz, the younger brother of Shyaldir and a son of Dhutyx. Of course, this hasn't been confirmed canonically.

- Anomalous Pistol: Dr. Mike Alder is a trusted and important personnel at Site 96. Due to this, he been given the permission to carry a seemingly normal pistol from Site Ultra. Dr. Mike Alder isn't prone to using it or even showing it in public or while he's studying. However, he does somewhat have an "obsession" with it.
- Level 3 Keycard: Despite not being promoted to Level 4, Dr. Mike Alder takes pride as a Level 3 personnel and makes sure to keep his keycard on him at any time. He hasn't shown any signs of losing it as well.

- SCP-91342: As a caretaker of SCP-94801, he must also look after SCP-91342, a laptop capable of bending reality to a limited degree. SCP-91342 can also revive others from the dead, meaning Dr. Mike Alder could possibly be brought back to life once killed.

Weaknesses: Of course, Dr. Mike Alder isn't perfect. He still makes small mistakes and isn't good at communicating with higher rank personnel. On top of that, Dr. Mike Alder is too focused on his work, meaning he barely comes out of his office unless he must perform another experiment on the anomaly he has been assigned too.
- Could access timelines from a control center via gadgets
- Tracked down several O5 Council members
- Resisted SCP-7463's toxic skin
- Was still able to exist even though SCP-7463 destroyed the narrative they were both in
- Stopped groups of the Chaos Insurgency
- Survived SCP-47821
- Abandoned many narratives
- Made SCP-2747 fall in love with him
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Presence Plot Manipulation: When implanted into a narrative, Dr. Mike Alder's presence or influence shall grant him advanced plot manipulation. This grants him the ability to negate other plot manipulation techniques (as seen in Seventy-Four Sixty Three). This ability is the main reason Dr. Mike Alder has survived several attacks in the narratives that he's in.
- Fictional Judgement: While harnessing his personnel file's abilities, he can turn various objects or concepts unusable or fictional in his narrative.
- Misfortune: Once this ability is activated, it makes Dr. Mike Alder a "protagonist" of sorts. This grants him extreme luck, causing his enemies to experience misfortune in the process. A simple explanation to this ability is that anything that the enemy does to him shall go wrong in the worst possibly way. This will lead to the enemy's attacks being utterly useless. For a more complex explanation, the narrative shall automatically take the side of the researcher, and turn against the enemy attacking him.

“ | And then I did it. I made an inmate turn into a mass of flesh, muscle and tissue. There was blood everywhere. I focused my gaze on the body as Dr. Jane covered her eyes. This was fun. | „ |

“ | I bet you're just lying to yourself. That's alright, I do that too. Blaming you for doing so would make me hypocritical, and I don't like when I have to sleep by myself at night thinking about it. | „ |
