Summary[]

Boom, or Optimum Fang, is the S Class rank 2 hero in the New Hero Association. He was born on the ay of the Monster Association Attack 60 years ago, which was the fateful day where Saitama battled Garou. Even when he was small, he was extremely interested in martial arts, learning the fundamentals from when he was small. He became a prodigy and was renowned across the continent for his expertise, which earned him the opportunity to become the disciple of Garou, who took over the Water Stream Dojo as Bang wasn't getting any younger.

He learned Water Stream under him, and the harsh training made him far stronger in every face, as he learned from the best. Eventually, Garou had a son, and so made Boom the new master of the dojo, where he has been over since. A few decades passed, and he took the grandchildren of Garou, Akumo and Okami, under his wing as his prized students. Not long after, the New Hero Association formed, so he decided to join it so that he may use his arts for good and set an example for his disciples. He rose through the ranks quickly, reaching rank 2 of the S Class, where he has remained. S Class rank 4, Fighting Kamikaze, is also his disciple, proving the respect for him.

After his training in the mountains, his stamina is far better than it was previously, as he can fight for days on end in bad conditions without rest)

Intelligence: Gifted (Master martial artist with decades of experience. He learned from both Silverfang and Garou on his way to mastery, making him one of the best there ever was. He created his own fighting style which brings the power of rage, the Raging Flare Crush Fist, all on his own. He is able to fight stronger foes through his arts alone)

Weaknesses: His age may factor into a long fight, but otherwise isn't notable.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Water Strem Rock Smashing Fist: Boom's martial art, learned from Bang and Garou. With this art he can create a defensive field of blows while countering with maximum proficiency and power. He is skilled enough to redirect both really powerful attacks as well as barrage attacks that match or even surpass his speed by a slight margin. Nowadays, he is the go to master of the art.
  • Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist: In combination with a user of the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist (Usually Beat), Boom can wield the power of this advanced technique. The attack sends intense shockwaves across the entire targets body, literally shattering them. Even if it just grazes the enemy, they'll take great damage. Its shockwaves can even disintegrate the stones around them.
  • Cross Fang Dragon Slayer Fist: A combination of the martial arts of Boom and Beat, even more powerful than Whirlwind Water Stream Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist. Both perform extremely powerful strikes at their opponent with their respective martial arts during combat, usually until their foe is a pile of mush.
  • Water Stream Encampment: Boom can create an area where his fists will destroy anything that enters, defending those inside. A great all around defensive maneuver.
  • Fang Interpolation: Using the fingertips that he has trained, he can hit the smallest weak points with single hits of incredible accuracy. This move is known to be smooth like water but powerful enough to destroy rock with unparalleled destructive power.
  • Instantaneous Effect: Boom jumps at his opponent using an extraordinary footwork, he elegantly quickly moves as if he was flowing, and confuses them with a swift feint and then performs a fast-piercing attack.
  • Abandonment: By training his dynamic visual acuity and anticipating the enemy's movements, Boom is able to demonstrate the terrifying power of abandonment. He can catch and pierce even the quickest of enemies with precision.
  • Awakening Breath: A breathing technique that draws from the very limits of one's body. When used, Boom's mobility, agility, and maneuverability, are heightened. In combination with the Raging Flare Crush Fist, it gets even stronger still.
  • Raging Flare Crush Fist: Boom's own fighting style, which he created and is the master of in addition to Water Stream. It draws upon the inner anger within all humans, allowing Boom to battle as though he's enraged but still having a clear mind. It's explosive and violent, as it is usually unleashed in heavy barrages which annihilate all opposition.
