“ | All of you were always there for me. Now, I will realize each and every single one of your wishes. Please, watch over me. | „ |
Andrew Rivera is a deuterogonist of Olethros and the main source of conflict between the Argos and New Olympus. A Titan-Human hybrid, he is a unique being that was living in New Olympus. His status made him a highly-prized target by Zaeto Kagami, leading to the events of the story itself. Although a child, he would often act as the glue between the members of the Argos, reminding them of their goals and wishes. In the epilogue, he is seen wandering and chronicling the wasteland, preparing for his eventual return to New Olympus.
Appearance[]
Andrew looks quite different from most around him due to his hybrid status, but it could also likely be the genetics that made him look like such. With fair skin and a mop of white hair, it doesn't look that off at the start. But when you get to his eyes, that is where the real differences begin. For one, his eyes are a dark red. While his pupils are quite difficult to see, it is because they are shaped like camera lenses, the whole package and all. It even gives off a slight shine of light blue. Due to him rummaging around for scraps before the Argos picked him up, he has a fairly skinny build, almost to the point where his ribs could be seen. Though in the epilogue, he could be seen a lot healthier. A strange symbol attached itself to his back, whether it be the symbol of the Titans or otherwise. The symbol itself is that of a ship soaring through the sky without any shackle or restriction.
Seeing as how the Argos were on the run for most of the story, Andrew didn't have much to wear in the first place. His usual clothing would consist of a simple white t-shirt alongside some joggers and sneakers. But in the epilogue, he has much different clothing on him. First off, he is seen wearing a white jacket with various light blue symbols stitched onto it, each one detailing the adventures of the Argos on their perilous journey to safety. The jacket itself has plenty of various pockets, ranging from anywhere on the bottom to the numerous others on the sleeves, and even one on his right breast. Underneath the jacket is a simple light gray shirt, and he often wears a pair of black fingerless gloves. Last is a simple black pair of pants alongside a simple pair of running shoes. But he carries an assortment of items and objects along with him, usually stored in a light gray backpack he carries around. The backpack itself is filled with nearly everything needed for any situation.
Personality[]
As the emotional glue of the Argos, Andrew is quite emotionally mature for his age. He was capable of reading the tension and feelings of the room around him in one scenario. Like most of the members, he is considerably quiet and doesn't speak out often. But that doesn't mean he can be excited, in fact, far from it. Whenever he finds a topic or subject that intrigues him, he is immediately hooked on it and forgets the rest of his surroundings entirely. There have been many times where Andrew has spaced out, thinking about the possibilities of the Argos, and how they could possibly be his family.
Due to his upbringing, Andrew is known to use anything he is given in its entirety. For example, he never once filled a water bottle he was given until he was sure that it ran out entirely. He has a passion for painting, which would later be translated into charting out entire maps of his adventures with the Argos and later on in the epilogue. Thanks to those around him, he has gained a healthy sense of right and wrong, knowing when injustice is present and when something should be done in the first place. In addition, he finds himself caring for outcasts and exiles more than those in front of him sometimes. But if there is one thing that has never been lost in Andrew's life, it is his positive outlook on the world. While in the epilogue, his innocence and naivety was lost, he still manages to retain a positive outlook on the world, believing that not all is lost.
Relationships[]
Artemis Bennet[]
“ | Thank you, for saving me. | „ |
Artemis was the first person to truly take care of Andrew after she found him scrounging around for scraps. Because of that, the two's relationship between each other was a closely-knit one. Artemis often proclaimed herself as Andrew's guardian, and he always admired her mindset when it came to others. At the same time, Artemis admired his positive outlook on the world and respected his ideals. She tried her best to teach him all she knew about the world, but would eventually be helped by the rest of the Argos. Still, Andrew considers her to be his mother, just like Tsukyo. During their times alone, Andrew has expressed his own feelings and worries, looking for Artemis for advice. Something that she would always help with.
Tsukyo Ulysses[]
“ | I think...you're doing the right thing. | „ |
Andrew's initial relationship with Tsukyo was strained, considering how Tsukyo in the first place was trying to figure out what to do about him. Originally, the times between them was quite awkward until he truly began to open up. The two eventually began to talk about their likes and dislikes in music, and he would even manage to express his musical talent on more than one occasion. As much as Tsukyo considers herself to be like a mother-figure, Andrew feels the same and was happy to be under her care.
Einstein Holmes[]
“ | You're really smart. | „ |
Einstein's relationship with Andrew and vice-versa was always one of mutual trust and respect. As Einstein tried her best to guide Andrew on the right path, he also insisted that Einstein's position in life could still be changed. In their many talks and discussions between one another, Andrew was the second person to know them best, right behind Abel. In fact, he was the one that originally helped them out of their shell. To some extent, Andrew likely knew that Einstein had some type of need to protect him, whether it be seeing their own backstory or a younger version of themselves in him. They were even the first person to hear Andrew's dreams and ideals for all outcasts and exiles.
Abel[]
“ | You're the best uncle I never knew I needed. | „ |
Much like in Abel's profile, Andrew saw Abel as the fun uncle that allowed him to do whatever. His time with the mercenary helped teach him all that he needed when it came to the trickery part of the world and what people would do in order to survive. Although Andrew has expressed his sadness about the fact that people needed to do such, Abel would comfort him as best as possible. The two often get into debates of any topic, the boy always enjoying the little debates that Abel would bring up out of the middle of nowhere. But they have had their disagreements, sometimes making their relationship unstable. But, they would always return to being good friends.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Ikioi no Yarikata: The same fighting style that Abel used across their journies, passed down to Andrew to use. This unique fighting style is based around the manipulation of kinetic energy and has its roots in Aikido. Its main uses are to reflect attacks back on the opponent and completely defeat them without a punch. However, it can be prone to predictability and requires the opponent to throw the first punch.
