About the Verse
Amber Waves is a world all about sea travel, the tropics, underwater discoveries, and after dark skirmishes. Amber-Lynn Cordelia, or just Amber, is the Cascade Goddess of the Sea and she is constantly being harassed by the Luminous God of the Night, Máni, her ex. Growing tiresome of his attempts to claim her, she gathers/kidnaps other people to serve as her guardians/slaves to fend his attacks off. This is how Bakunta and Alika, the two eccentric main protagonists, get dragged into a hilarious story of aquatic adventure, beautiful tropics, and thrilling action.
Power of the Verse
This verse will mostly contain somewhere between Continent Level and Moon Level tiers. Most characters are human or gods, but there are many other types of characters that range from talking tigers to sleepy dragons. Amber-Lynn gives most of her Royal Guards the ability to control the sea as she does, so almost all major characters are water manipulators. Some characters can do more than manipulate water such as cause others to fall asleep or shapeshift into different things. Also, a master craftsman named Tiekko creates different items and aquatic vehicles for the characters to travel with which usually come with a weapon suited for water combat.
