Summary[]
Amara Hawking is a minor protagonist in Collapse and main character of its side story, Anklomet. A citizen from a bygone age, she somehow managed to attain agelessness and live on throughout the ages. Thanks to her immortality, she had lost much of her humanity before finding Nakano in a junkyard. She would go on to join up with a ground of renegades named The Rebels in order to save the cosmos. But later on their journey, she would regain her humanity and fight alongside them as family.
Appearance[]
Amara takes on the appearance of someone who should not look as old as she is. Despite looking quite young, something along the lines of her mid to perhaps late-20s, she gives off the feeling that she is more in her 40s. With gray hair and a cigar on her lips, it is clear to see why she does not feel like someone in their 20s. Her hair usually moves all the way past her neck and onto the back of her torso, but never managing to rest on the front of her shirt. As spoken about before, she is almost never seen without a cigar in her mouth.
In common appearances, she usually takes a white button-up shirt with a black tie, finishing it off with black pants and dress shoes. A rather minimalist appearance, but one she swears she will take to the grave. There are some small but noticeable hair clips in her hair, as they were given to her as a present from Nakano.
Personality[]
Amara is someone who is detached from the world, not truly caring about what happens as she will survive anyways. That is, at least, her before she met up with the Rebels. Originally, she was a rather sarcastic individual and yet slightly charming at the same time. There is still a general sense of humor, and she once formed a connection to a young girl. Thanks to that experience, she can often grow a bit paranoid and protective over those she has formed a bond with. But she has constantly reminded herself to not grow too attached. Once more, it was before she met with the Rebels, as that is when she truly began to change.
The first thing to note is when she met Nakano, as she still had a semblance of humanity within her. Though, she was rather blunt with the Omikami and naturally curious. Not only that, but she has also is someone rather smart thanks to her milennia of experience. Still, there was this side to her that called out for a deeper connection that can last. Although for some of the journey she piled it down, she eventually accepted it as her own. After such, this deeper voice allowed for a greater connection with the Rebels. She began to follow her desires just a bit more, but still acts as the more mature mother of the group.

- The Gold: Amara's main weapon, a blinding source of light that can morph into any weapon she desires. It is capable of affecting her targets on every plane of existence at once, thanks to its nature. As an Omikami, it is naturally tied to Amara's own existence, and made herself immortal by binding herself to its true form.
Intelligence: Genius (Has lived for a considerably long time and is experienced in various forms of combat, was the one to teach Adam in how to fight. Her skills have been honed over the course of decades and she has consistently confused intelligent minds with her conversations)
Standard Tactics: As the function of Presences, The Gold will strike first if it detects any hostile intent against Amara. That being said, its first functions are usually twisting the vectors of the opponent to collapse in on themselves. This actions is naturally infused with power nullification, so higher durability or invulnerability to physical attacks won't help. If someone manages to survive it, Amara is usually capable of deducing who is targeting her and engages in mid-range combat. She fires beams of light in combat and will mostly rely on The Gold for protection. Because of this, she mostly is on the offensive and will only resort to melee combat if necessary.
Weaknesses: Sensitive about her own humanity, and preying on it can cause her to act in erratic and predictable ways. The Gold becomes weaker if her emotions are overwhelmed. | None Notable
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
The Gold: The Gold is Amara's Presence, though infused with an Omikami. This unique Presence allows her to be in touch with the true form of an Omikami, her existence being intertwined with them. Because of this, she has transcended the world's Bindings and existing outside of the concepts of life and death. In any case, this Presence is one of both an Offensive and Defensive nature. Still, Amara needs to switch between such. This Presence is one that controls the mathematical concept known as vectors. Through it, she is capable of deflecting attacks back at the opponent, or twisting her targets to the point where they collapse into nothingness. It also allows for her to shoot beams of golden light through compressing and firing photons at immense speeds. Another added bonus of her Presence is that it allows her voice to be incredibly charismatic, to the point where she could convince a squad of guards to drop their weapons and walk away.
