Summary

Alexander Durham, or Alex, is one of the main protagonists along with his friends Matt, Leo and Connor who were summoned to defeat the Devil King. He wields the Neon Sword and a shield that can be summoned at will. He and his friends form the Neon Cavaliers.

Appearance

Alex has short dark brown hair, brown eyes, and white skin.

He wears a red and black tunic, black pants, a cape with red on the inside and black on the outside, black lace-up boots and gloves, and a scabbard on his left side.

In book 2, Alex's appearance remains the same, except he replaced his old scabbard with Selena's that was given to him by Lucy.

Personality

Before being summoned to the new world he was a shy and silent person who would only talk to friends or people he is close to. When he was summoned into the new world his personality changed to one who sought adventure and would talk to anyone as long as they interact first. He cares deeply for the people he is close to and won't kill those who ask for mercy, no matter how evil they are.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Support Skill: Each Neon Cavalier has a support skill upon reaching level 5. In order to use these skills, they must hold out their hand and say the name of the support skill along with the names of the people they wish to use the support skill on. Support skills will take 5 MP and last for 10 minutes. Alex's support skill is Defense/HP up by 10 and he can choose which one to use. Fire Flash: Alex puts his sword in his scabbard and puts his right arm forward, raising his index finger, middle finger, and thumb forward, and begins to charge magic energy before firing it in a large blast. It is one of his ultimate skills. Blazing Strike: Alex puts his sword in his scabbard or by his side and creates a large crescent-shaped flame at the opponent when slashing his sword forward. Fire Flash Full Power: Same as the original Fire Flash except Alex puts all his MP into the attack making it bigger and stronger. Incineration slash: Alex holds his sword in the air and swings it around his body shooting large flames in all directions. Fire Fist: Alex surrounds his fist with fire and throws a punch. Outburst Wave: A skill Alex learned from Ruby. Alex puts his fist into the air and creates energy into it before slamming it onto the ground creating a medium-sized energy wave. Barrier: Alex creates a barrier to protect himself or others Wind Blast: A skill Alex learned from a Griffin. Alex creates a small blast of wind in the palm of his hand and points it in front of him and fires the blast. It's strong enough to decimate entire Citys but strains his arm to the point where he can't move it for a while. Terminal Fire: A combo skill combining Alex's Fire Flash and Leo's Terminal Force. Shield Counter: Alex blocks an attack using his shield causing the opponent to recoil back. Counter: Alex assumes a stance and attacks the opponent when they hit him. Force Strike: Alex holds his sword in front of him and surrounds it in energy. He then fires a beam of energy from the tip of the sword. Outburst Wave Explosion: Alex puts his fist into the air and creates energy into his fist and slams it onto the ground creating a medium-sized energy wave that dies out when reaching the opponent. It then fires a powerful beam upward, turning the enemy into nothing but dust. It can also go cancel out energy beams. It's a stronger variation of Outburst Wave. The energy output needed for the move can knock out Alex for five days. Chrono Blast: Alex pins the opponent against a wall and charges energy into his other hand. He places his hand in front of the opponent's face and fires a Mountbatten pink-colored energy beam. He can also fire it just by placing his hand in front of him. Final Flare Wave: Alex charges energy into the palm of his hands and places his hands in front of him in an inverted position, firing a massive red energy beam. It is a stronger variation of the Fire Flash. Afterimage: Alex moves so swiftly that an image of himself is left behind. Learned after seeing Yuutsuna do it once. He uses this technique as a counter-attack. Energy Lace Blow: Alex laces his fist with energy to attack. He used this skill against Arora. Heal: By holding out his hand, Alex can use a healing spell that can get rid of certain effects and heal small wounds. Mighty Strike: Alex puts his sword in his scabbard and closes his eyes. He then opens his eyes and unsheathed his sword. He fires a shockwave wave from his sword, followed by green, razor-thin waves of energy in every swing. Hyper Flash: Alex puts his sword into his scabbard and puts his hands in front of him, palms open. He then moves his hands at a 90-degree angle and focuses energy on them. He then fires a massive energy beam. Energy Gun: Alex does a finger gun and fires small energy blasts in a barrage. Foot Beam: Alex fires a beam from his feet, launching him into the sky. Used to escape Dylan's sand prison. Spirit Excalibur: Alex absorbs the life force of the plants and animals around him, putting the energy into his sword. Once he has gathered enough energy, he creates a long energy sword and slams it onto the ground. Has enough power to destroy a country. Reverse Final Flare Wave: Alex turns around and fires a final flare wave toward the sky, pushing him down. He then stops the blast and turns around, landing a punch to his opponent's jaw, dealing major damage. Used after his foot beam. Lightning Blast: Alex moves his arms around in a particular motion and generates an electric current. He then fires lightning at his opponent's heart. Zeta Strike: Alex extends both his index and middle fingers outward, near his opponent's chest. He then makes a fist and lands a heavy blow that sends them sliding across the ground. Based on the one-inch punch. Sokudo technique: A technique Alex created to match Lilim's speed. Allows him to match and react to an opponent's speed if they are faster than him. Rushing Blow: Alex appears in front of his opponent and before they have a chance to react, lands a heavy blow to their stomach that sends them flying into the air. Alex then teleports above his opponent and knocked them down with a double-axe handle before firing a barrage of energy blasts toward them as they fall. Omega Burst: Alex unleashes a burst of energy. Terminal Burst Cannon: Alex places his hands near his sides and charges energy around them as an aura surrounds his body. He then fires a massive energy beam. Blue Spire Slash: Alex surrounds his sword in a blue fire and slashes his opponent. Cinder Barrage: Alex puts his arms to his side, and surrounds his hands with blue fire, aiming it at his opponent. He then thrusts his arms forward and sends a barrage of blue fire blasts towards his opponent at a rapid pace. Dragon Blast: Alex opens his palm and charges an energy sphere into it, aiming the attack toward his opponent before firing it as a large energy sphere that deals massive damage. Dragon Flash: Alex throws his arms wide open, hands held vertically and fingers wide while gathering energy before bringing his arms together, forming an energy sphere between his palms. Once Alex gathers enough energy, he fires it in a massive energy beam. It is his most powerful attack. Dragon Claw: Alex creates a dragon shaped claw out of energy to slash his opponent. Dragon Rage: Every hit Alex takes powers him up 5x, effectively making him stronger with each hit he takes. Alex can save up the energy to use later for stronger attacks that are 5x more powerful or make himself 5x more powerful the more damage he takes. Although a powerful ability, Alex cannot use it without taking damage first, and fighters well-versed in dodging attacks can potentially bypass it entirely, rendering the added power useless. The ability is active at all times when using his dragon forms. Feral Blow: Alex thrust his right arm forward and creates a shockwave. Dragon's Fury: Alex unleashes a barrage of energy blasts toward his opponent. Regeneration Negation Magic: Alex uses magic to stop an opponent from regenerating. Used this magic in combination with his Dragon Claw skill. Impact Beam: Alex fires a slim energy beam that pierces his opponent's heart, killing them. Dragonic Explosion: Alex surrounds his body in a dome of energy. He then releases the energy in a gigantic, swirling dome of golden energy. Leaves him drained of all his MP. Alex used the technique again to ultimately uses to destroy Symbiant by converting all of his life force into energy and causing a massive explosion, taking himself and his opponent to the afterlife. Warp Dragon Flash: Alex charges a Dragon Flash then teleports in front of or behind the opponents and firing a massive point black energy beam. Sealing Spell: A spell Alex learned from Tian-Shi to seal away opponents.

Transformations/Dragon Forms:

Pseudo-Dragon Form: Alex retains his human form but gains a dragon mask, tail, and wings, and his hair becomes black with red highlights and his eyes change from brown to red. Powers him up 50x, but slowly drains MP.

Dragon Form: After witnessing Connor kill Selena, Alex went into a fight of rage allowing him to transform into a Dragon, becoming 55'0 in height. Due to the sheer power of the form Alex is unable to control destroying everything in his path with little thought. Once Selena entered his mind, she was able to bring him back to normal. Powers him up 100x.

Feral Dragon: A form Alex took when he reverted back to his human form after using his Dragon From. The power of the dragon corrupted his body, morphing the right half of his body to resemble a Dragon.

Pseudo-Silver Dragon Form: A form Alex made after training for 3 months. Increases his power 1,000x

Silver Dragon Form: A form Alex made after training for 3 months. Increases his power 10,000x

Pseudo-Golden Dragon Form: A form Alex obtained after training for Chamber of Time for 3 years. Increases his power 50,000x

Golden Dragon Form: A form Alex obtained after training for in the Chamber of Time for 3 years. Increases his power 1,000,000x
