Summary[]

Abnormality Containment Units, or ACU, are a special operations force under the watch of the Marine Corps' of America. These units specialize in neutralizing creatures and people afflicted by the Chimera Virus. This can vary from capture missions for former humans, to full on exterminations on a population of animals afflicted by the virus.

Attack Potency: Athlete level physically (Are able to kick open doors, snap other normal human's necks, and can use leverage from Brazilian jiu-jitsu to dislocate joints and even break bones), Street level to Wall level with equipment (See equipment)

Speed: Athletic Human (Units must be able to complete a 100 meter dash at least 10 seconds. Units must be able to react to visual stimuli in at least 150 ms in training.)

Lifting Strength: Athletic Human to Peak Human (Are conditioned to lift and carry heavy loads by using corpses of dead pigs as an analogy and are trained to handle the recoil of very powerful weapon without losing balance.)

Striking Strength: Athlete Class

Durability: Athlete level (Can handle forces imparted by gunfire through body armor with bruises and minor breaks), Street level with body armor (Level IV hard body armor is able to hold up to small arms fire very well and even shots from heavy arms such as AK-47s, is able to handle a few punches from a Homo marinus before failing), possibly Street level+ (Level IV hard body armor is possibly able to block a single shot from a .700 Nitro Express but would critically wound the wearer with completely shattered ribs and possibly stop the person's heart. Possibly can possibly handle a single casual strike from a Feral Homo lupus)

Stamina: Athletic human (Units are trained to be able to endure missions lasting upwards of an hour with constant and heavy work)

Range: Standard Melee Range, higher with weapons

Standard Equipment:

Intelligence: Gifted (Only those with mastery over many different skills, expertise in firearms, and quick wit are recruited do to the dangerous nature of the line of duty. Units that drop out of service tend to enter combat sports and end up being the best of their league and only challenged by other former unit members in terms of skill.)

Weaknesses: Normal human weaknesses, Body Armor will eventually fail against constant attacks.
