The AN-M14 hand grenade is an American purpose-designed incendiary grenade, which works off the incendiary properties of thermite. The result of the deployment of this weapon is molten iron, considering that it has the ability to melt through an engine block. The grenade can also work underwater, though it is used for certain purposes as well.
It was added into the XNDUIW community as a usable item in conjunction with the ACS 2.0.0 gun system, with the purpose of the grenade being generally made clear.
Purpose[]
It is generally used to destroy equipment, and it can also be used to destroy shelters, and sabotage equipment or munitions. It can also be used to start fires in areas containing materials which can light on fire easily, and it can burn in temperatures around 2200 Celsius.
Characteristics[]
Weapon info[]
Grenade type: Incendiary
Fuse delay: 4.2 seconds
Powers and Stats[]
Tier: 9-A
Name: AN-M14, AN/M14, AN-M14 TH3
Origin: XNDUIW, Real Life
Age: It was purposely developed by the United States Armed Forces. However, the age of the weapon is unknown, considering that records of it's manufacture are often poorly kept, or were confused with the M14 rifle.
Classification: Incendiary grenade
Wielders: United States Armed Forces, certain civilians (with proper licensing)
Prerequisites: The user must pull the pin from the fuse, and throw the grenade within the fuse time, otherwise the grenade will detonate on the player's hand, causing severe burns, or injuring or killing the user itself.
Powers and Abilities: Since the grenade is an incendiary grenade, and because the grenade is activated by using thermite with the intention to destroy equipment and such, it can also melt or sabotage such tools to prevent it from being used by the enemy.
Attack Potency: Wall level
Speed: The grenade is largely Immobile when primed and placed on something, though the resulting thermite reaction is Subsonic.
Durability: Below Average when the grenade is primed or activated.
Range: Several Meters
Weaknesses: The thermite reaction can be extremely exothermic, but the use of such grenades for civilians is generally restricted by law, considering that it might be treated as a "destructive device" in some capacity.
Feats: Standard-issue incendiary grenade for certain military units
Notable Attacks/Techniques: The grenade can be used to sabotage, or destroy equipment, and it can also operate underwater as intended because the charge within the grenade is mainly thermite.
